2 wks ago I bought my first car and have test driven it for a road trip already. Car has been quite smooth, might need to check it out a little more long-term. I love the features and the new stereo I had asked them to install. Definitely beats the Japanese system. Dean was amazing. Helped out alot to organise everything and sort out the necessary documents. The team is pretty chilled and like joking around. Had a few mishaps where our booking to test drive a different car was pretty much cancelled. It was busy and we weren't seen for 30min. Then found out they didn't have the car, and it was in their warehouse. We drove other cars, which they accommodated quite quickly to. Thanks for the help team. Great customer service. 1st time walking in to view the vehicles, no pressure from the sales team and i was free to browse all the cars in the yard. Once me and my wife finally found the vehicle we like, the process was smooth. Dean and Kate were especially very helpful and accomodating to us. There's a certain stereotype that salespeople need to overcome—whether it's true or not—to gain and retain customers. Needless to say, two years on the car I purchased is reliable and continues to pass warrants with ease. This could also be accredited to Toyota's reputation as a workhorse and ranking No.1 Motor Vehicle company for five consecutive year by Fortune Magazine (2019). But even now I can recall be treated respectfully by Dean pre and post purchase. He ensured the car met all requirements to be safe and roadworthy. I still recommend you to family and friends. Just bought my first car with them and best dealers I've experienced so far. Knew their stuff, Dean was very much onto it with being honest, getting cars out for a test drive and had warm hospitality towards us and other customers. And Kate was very lovely, accomodating, professional and just overall made sure that we knew what were signing up to. Overall very happy with the purchase and wouldn't be surprised if we were to return back.

Dean was great, he did not try to push, he let me have a look at the car and didn't interrupt. However after I bought the car everything seemed quite rushed through. I bought the car at the set price, and the car was not even groomed properly from the outside. I was told to come next week for that, as it was a Friday. The stereo was not setup, I struggled the googling about how to setup the stereo. When I went the next week, I was immediately told to go to the car grooming people, I raised concerns about stereo and some loose bits in the car but I was told that the car grooming people will sort it out, as I was leaving the car park, half reversed out of the car park, I was approached by another staff member who rushed through setting up the stereo, as he said the required SD card for the stereo is in the glove box with bunch of Japanese manuals. He setup only FM, I had to google how to setup the camera myself and use google translate. Also the car grooming didn't remove spots I pointed out to Dean, the grooming was basically a wash that I could have done myself at a fuel station. The entire after purchase experience was very rushed through, staff was always busy moving cars, talking to me in between, running around, also they got my address wrong on registration and I pointed that out to Dean when I went to pick up the car, I was told it is corrected in the system but now I got the certificate of rego and it is still wrong, I will need to pay $10 to correct it now. Bottom line is, pre-sell was good but after that the staff was always busy. Ignoring a customer is not a good business. Clean car, Stereo setup and explaining the basic features of the car is the least a customer can expect. If there are any marks that can't be removed, then it should be informed about, especially when it is pointed out by customer, don't tell them it will be taken care of and then you can't remove them. Otherwise the car seems to run ok till now.

Good team & friendly staff, had some major issues (head gasket) within first week of purchase. Repairs undertaken at no cost to myself & even received call from the company owner to talk over repair plan and timeline. Communicated directly with mechanic after this who repaired car within time frame set out during original conversation. Do think that having the customer service team deal with complaints/breakdowns instead of mechanic would be preferred, he could prioritize then use his time fixing cars. Good company who just need to have a better supplier to send them cars from overseas so they can sell higher quality cars. Also be nice to discount price of vehicle for someone who is paying full amount immediately. Like i said, good company with a few teething issues still too sort.

I went in to 0800 best deal cars (Onehunga) with my eye on a white 2001 Toyota Rav. I look after my niece who has a disability, so I need space in the boot for her wheel chair. I ended up getting the Rav, it was great but it did have a gear box problem. I let Dean know the problems with the Rav. The gearbox problem would happen now and again but it wasn’t consistent so the mechanics couldn’t diagnose the problem. It was about 1 month that I had the Rav, and I took it for a long trip. I made it just before Taupo before the rav broke down. I was stressed out, I rang Dean who made everything real easy from here. He offered me a refund or a good deal, on a different car. I took the deal for a different car. Even though the Rav didn’t work out as planned, I am now in a Nissan Wingroad.
