We bought a used vehicle from the dealership and dealt with Ian Koen who was fantastic.
He was friendly and helpful in helping us choose the right vehicle by understanding our needs and made appropriate recommendations.
The entire process was easy and we didn’t feel pressured at all.
Even though it’s a used vehicle, Ian and the team made sure that they groom the vehicle the best they could and was extremely satisfied with the condition at delivery.
During delivery, Ian also took his time to explain the details of the features and made sure we know what’s there and things to take note of including after sales servicing.
Steve was also great and easy to deal with.

I wanted an X3 M40i , and eventually found what I wanted at Auckland City BMW. From my first enquiry with Lane , to the ownership of the vehicle, the whole process was a dream. The process actually involved four people , as when one person was already tied up, Sam or Tom stepped in . These three treated us with great consideration , and respect, and went out of their way to ensure we obtained the result that we wanted. The paperwork was handled by Steve - another first class experience. Both my wife and I are extremely satisfied with our dealings with Auckland City BMW and would recommend them to anyone.

These guys are good! I actually stopped in there to use the toilet and ended up buying a car a month later! In saying that, Ian Koen was extremely helpful without being pushy. He certainly knows his product and took the time to drill down to what my needs were. The rest of the team was friendly and professional with Steve helping out in sorting the appropriate insurance. To date their after-sales service can't be faulted either. I'll being buying through them again.

When outlaying a good amount of money on a luxury car whether new or used it is assumed, but not always the case, that you will be looked after and valued not only pre purchase but also after. I'm happy to say Auckland City BMW were excellent in all regards. Ian Koen was the lead on my purchase and went above and beyond-could not fault him in any way-was a pleasure to deal with and is still patient and smiling even post purchase whenever i seek an add on to my car. Rest of the team were also very helpful in administering the purchase, warranty and insurance and getting after market add ons via their parts team-all straight forward and simple.

Took my car to replace my airbag due to compulsory recall on Fri 4OCT. Parked my car among these amazing BMW vehicles (to die for) All is sudden, I was greeted by one of the attendant by my name. I was amazed! Told me to come in when I’m ready. Went in, greeted by Sergio, again called me by my name (am getting the chill, now) Sergio greeted me, offered me coffee, water and went through the process. I had requested a courtesy car and he gave me the key, to my amazements it was X2 SUV. Fell in love with the vehicle and drove to work. When I picked up my car, Sergio again offered water and explained what had been done. I was so intrigued and overwhelmed by the experience I had on this day with the BMW staff members with their customer services. I was engaged, respected and nurtured through my experience and it made my day. Thank you for the experience. I shall now bring my vehicle to your workshop for future services and customer experience. Well done

Its basically what you expect from BMW, good cars though designed for the same group who ride bikes in lycra. Sales people that also are straight out of 2nd hand sales sort of expectations. So the experience is pretty much what you should expect. That said, good cars to drive.

2017 Great customer service, even bathroom feels expensive. My first time at dealer, it was for airbag recall, I didn't enjoy the experience because I prefer to speak to mechanics rather than customer service agents. I want to know everything about my car.
2019 Came back second time after they identified a different airbag recall due to an incident in Australia.
Everyone is so nice, even the salesperson offered to get coffee for me while I sat in new cars and I told him earlier that I am not buying.

Had a puncture/screw in one of the tyres of my X3, despite being fully booked...Ruwan (The sales exec that I purchased the vehicle from), made it happen. Got the repair done within 45mins. Made a potentially stressful situation hassle free. THAT IS 1ST CLASS SERVICE. Two ticks for after sales service. If you are looking to purchase a new vehicle, ask for RUWAN. He is brilliant in every sense of the word. Thorough, professional and will work hard to make a deal eventuate.

I've taken my vehicle here a couple of times. Twice for recalls. And another time for mechanical warranty issue (vehicle brought elsewhere (Not Alk BMW) the guys at Auckland city BMW I've always been very helpful and professional. It's really nice arriving and someone knows your name.I realise is that they are just checking the registration against my name but they do that before I get out of the car. I'm always offered coffee and biscuits in the car is returned to me washed and vacuumed. This is happen on both occasions where it was product recalls or it didn't cost me anything. I have only really dealt with Vaughn there. He's a good guy and you'll look after you.

Droped my 6-series off this morning. Can't say that the chaos at the drop-off instills alot of confidence. No smiles, no "good morning, how are you" and worst of all bickering among the various team members. Rather anxious to see how the day goes...
UPDATE: Dylan (my service advisor) delivered good communication throughout the day. Patric (GM Aftersales) also took the time to chat to me when I picked up my car. Happy to review my rating and give them the benefit of the doubt that today's incident was the exception, not the norm.
UPDATE 2: Today on the motor way my car experienced a drivetrain malfunction and went into limp mode. I made it to Auckland City BMW and was able to see Dylan, my service advisor after a short wait. The car was booked in and Dylan asked me to have a seat while he arranged transport for me to go pick up a rental car. I did this, and when he came back he gave me a friendly smile and handed me a BMW ginger cookie. This little gesture managed to put a smile on my face after a rather challenging morning. My thanks to Dylan for this gesture of kindness, and also to the dealership for transporting me to Hertz. Much appreciated.
