I purchased my subaru from Car City. Even though Auckland is at covid level 3 and Rotorua level 2 Jimmy and John made my purchase so friendly they sorted everything . We brought a great low kms, BMW 325 I from these guys. Great service with a no pressure sales pitch. They offered a warranty and honoured it when a problem occurred with the battery. Definitely recommend these guys if you are in the market for a quality second hand car.

Lets hope John that the current issues are resolved very soon!! I will update this thread as this saga unfolds and develops!! We purchased an exceptional quality Mercedes Benz ML63 AMG vehicle which is a top of the line vehicle. We were of course concerned over negative reviews shown. We personally discussed those reviews with them. We are more than happy with the service from John Martin and Jimmy at Car City. Of course we completed our due diligence before purchasing the vehicle and John was more than happy to allow us to obtain a pre purchase inspection through our own Mercedes Dealer in Tauranga. He personally drove the vehicle to Tauranga to the dealers for that inspection. A few issues were required to be addressed, which were consistent with a vehicle of that kilometres , including brakes, thermostat and a Service. These were taken into account for a final purchase price negotiated with John. All we can say to those with the negative reviews is to ensure you do your due diligence when purchasing any vehicle whether from any car dealer or privately. That includes a pre purchase inspection and price comparisons around NZ. After all, it is your own responsibility to do that. Thank you John and Jimmy ...we appreciate your service and we would certainly deal with you again in the future.

Good selection of vehicles especially for jdm sports cars. John is the person to talk to and he acts in the customers best interests. He works really hard to exceed your expectations and gets the job done fast!
