I am quite impressed with the way they do business in this place and how organized they are. We have met Paul at GVI about 2 weeks ago to see a car we wanted to buy and before going straight to business we had a very nice talk about things not related to the car. We ended up not buying the car as I wanted to sell mine first. After that, Paul followed up on how was our search and as soon as the car we were interested in was sold by GVI to someone else, an email was sent by them with similar options to us. Besides that, the way they present the cars in their website makes them very attractive. Very different than many places where the cars are always dirty and not presentable. Well done guys! Hope to do business with you soon!

Jackie and Danny went above and beyond to provide a friendly and non pushy sale. Even with the challenges of lockdown they made trading in and purchasing an easy process. I had seen a few reviews about issues getting a test drive, I just wanted to say in my experience this was not the case I had the car for a good 45minutes. Thanks again, and would highly recommend

Purchased a VW GTI from GVI in the last week. Was in a rush and they moved the cars to get the one at the back out for me so I could take it for a spin around the block. They threw in a free headlight clean to get rid of the haze, four new tires as the original were too high of a profile for the clearance under the guards and got a discount on the already discounted price. Payment and picking up the car took less than 10 minutes once it was ready and I was on my way. Very satisfied with the service, would recommend and definitely return to purchase again in the future. 5/5

I live in Hamilton and I viewed and test drove the vehicle briefly prior to AL4, but we couldnt agree on the price. After Auckland dropped back to AL3 I contacted Darren to see what he could do. After some firm but fair negotiation we agreed on a price and I paid a deposit to secure the vehicle. I could not collect it due to Covid restrictions so I needed to wait until they lifted. After a month or so it was clear they werent going to change, so Darren contacted me to discuss options. He very kindly offered to deliver the vehicle to me for free. I am very cautious when purchasing vehicles so to have it delivered rather than collect it was a bit of a gamble for me, however Darren fulfilled all his obligations and the car arrived in great condition. After a few days I noticed one of the tyres was flat, so I contacted Darren again and I was able to get it fixed at GVI's expense, so he did stand behind his vehicle like he promised. Super happy with the car and the service that GVI has offered. Thank you Darren.

Excellent after-sale service !! Bought a car in 2020. This week I realized that the dealer didn’t give me the key for anti-theft wheel nuts in 2020. GVI covers the fee for ordering normal wheel lug nuts and melt the anti-theft wheel nuts. Totally follow the consumer guarantee law. What an honest company!

A huge THANK YOU to John & Cherin for a great customer service. I purchased a new vehicle before Christmas, but there were few issues with the vehicle. I returned the vehicle to John who genuinely helped me throughout the process of getting the vehicle fixed before Christmas. However, couple of days later the vehicle started jerking again & wasn't stable enough. I took the vehicle back to GVI & John helped me again. Instead of making a hassle about exchanging the vehicle, he happily showed me around & gave me the opportunity to test drive another vehicle which I loved. I have just bought my second car from GVI. GVI is like no other dealer that I have dealt with. Always honest and friendly without being pushy at any stage. In fact with my last purchase they made me make sure it was what I wanted. (I was so excited I was ready to sign straight away, lol). Difficult to find and access off busy road Most EVs on the showroom floor had been pre sold so unable to take on test drive. Salesperson seemed knowledgeable and helpful with sourcing vehicles in Japan ( Nissan Leaf) through their tender process.

Danny Shen was amazing to work with. He was timely, well informed and did not pressure at all. He made reasonable accommodations as we settled on a vehicle. I truly believed Danny was working with me on the purchase. The car was immaculate and drove like a champ for +400km right off the lot! Huge compliments to Danny and his team at GVI. Overall great experience.

What an amazing bunch of people. My husband was very keen to purchase a Nissan Leaf 100% electric car for our next family vehicle. He was very enthusiastic and booked a test drive with GVI . I was not at all interested and did not want him to buy the car, my thoughts were it would be very different to drive and a total nuisance having to charge up all the time. Nothing could be further from the truth. The car was purchased 2 months ago and it is FABULOUS, so easy to drive, quiet,really comfortable and we never have to go into a petrol station again!!! It's all the name 'GENUINE vehicle imports'. I just purchased my third car from GVI last weekend and I wouldn't go anywhere else. What a awesome experience I have had with G.V.I cars. Being a out of town buyer I could not view the car personally which the salesman Jackie had gone out of his way to provide videos,photos and even pointed out the very minor defects of the car before me seeing it which is a confident booster to know he’s not there to rip me off. I wanted a AA inspection done so Jackie sorted that out for me and it came back with nothing wrong bar a minor problem. We brought a car for my wife through GVI and while there were a couple of things we wanted to do further due diligence on, the team at GVI (particularity Gleb) bent over backwards to make sure we were well looked after and comfortable with our purchase. The old saying 'never trust a car salesman' doesn't apply to these guys, they want what is best for the customer. They were patient, fair and great to deal with.

My partner and I got a Nissan Dualis from GVI and we are very happy about it. All documents were prepared and given to us with AA inspection report. Quick processing yet very excellent quality of service they have provided us. The car was turned over to us with superb look inside and out. Thanks to Glev and Danny for assisting us. After a disappointing search for cars in Auckland we came across GVI on the way home, Salesperson Nick was great and found us the one car in stock that we needed. They sorted out tether bolts and a minor issue with brakes and after a bit of wrangling they met us 1/2 way on replacing worn tyres (due to AA report being incorrectly stating 4mm tread....was actually 1.5mm..they agreed to follow up with AA). Having the train station nearby was handy as didn't need to take 2 cars. These guys really look after their customers and their cars are priced and presented well. Well done GVI

Hi Everyone I went into GVI looking a what type of car i might buy in the future and with no intention of actually buying a car. After talking to Liam The Ginger Haired Guy (Dont Worry Hes An Awesome Guy) we looked around a few car and he gave me info on each car i changed my mind and bought a car. Im so happy with the teams help Liam And Matt Were Such Genuine Guys. Great customer service and always a good deal. I have had many different dealings with this company over the years. I have had to edit this as the Saangyong Dept is no longer a part of them. I have never had a bad deal from them. They are honest me and Paul is great to deal. Hayden has always helped when we have become stuck.

Bought a car from GVI recently and the experience far exceeded my expectations. Most notably, when the car developed a problem a month after purchase they promptly arranged for it to be collected and a courtesy car delivered. The problem turned out to be minor and GVI repaired it free of charge. Definitely appreciate that they went the extra mile, especially as they were under no obligation to do so.

Specialist in Electric Vehicle imports. Andrew Dudley their EV specialist is a great chap and has a wealth of knowledge. Certainly fulled me with confidence that these guys know what they are doing. Buying an electric car is a bit of an adventure, sure they drive like any other car and there are a huge number of benefits but they are a bit different and having someone so helpful and informative makes this place great.

Came car shopping at G.V.I. on 21/7/14 I was very excited to buy my first car from these guys once we arrived a sales man named Arthur Gatmaitan came running over to my friend and I with a big smile welcoming us to G.V.I and help as with our car purchase. Knowing witch car i wanted to purchase Arthur then showed us to the car. Once in the car we went for a test drive was wonderful to drive the only problem was the wheel alignment was out but thanks to Arthur who had organised the car to get realignment done and all the other on road cost done we where able to drive away in our car the next day. Had been thinking about upgrading my Subaru Legacy to another Legacy of the next generation and found one that caught my eye listed on Trademe by GVI, sent an email around 7pm or so asking about the car expecting a reply in the next day or two, however, salesman Jackie called me back within about half an hour of me sending the email which was unexpected but welcome as by that point I had questions and was very keen to check out the car, organised a viewing and even after getting lost and being around forty minutes late to the appointment (Im not from Auckland) Jackie was still more then happy to show me the car and let me take it for a test drive, very friendly and now a few days later, after a very easy and comfortable process, I am now a very happy/proud owner of clean, healthy sounding Subaru Legacy, cheers very much Jackie and GVI.
