Really nice and enjoyable experience!! I went to Tom's garage(Goldex) on a Saturday and found this airwave is what I want. The quality is definitely great without any doubt, and also they did a full service and changed four new tyres as well. I believe the most important characteristic for a car dealer is that you keep your promise to customers. They really do. Tom also gave me some advice about selling my old car and showed me how to change the ownership of vehicle online, which is really really helpful and impressive. Also thanks the lovely mechanic guy. Thanks all the staff that they work so hard in this extremely hot weather. Definitely I will recommend Tom and Goldex to my friends!!

I have dealt with a lot of car dealers over the years and I can genuinely say that Goldex Cars is one of the best and I can't recommend them enough. Their goal is not to get a quick sale but rather to ensure that the customer is satisfied with their purchase and ultimately comes back without hesitation for future vehicles. We just bought a Nissan Presage from them and we are extremely pleased with our purchase. From the moment we arrived on the lot, we felt welcomed and were treated with respect. The cars we wanted to see were immediately brought to us to test drive, and with the wide selection in their inventory - in most cases several of the same model being available - we were able to test drive without worrying about missing out on the perfect vehicle. Their cars themselves are carefully selected to be in excellent or near-mint condition and are supplied with a complimentary 1 year engine & transmission warranty for complete peace of mind. Once purchased, the car was prepared and presented to us fully groomed, registered and serviced which is just superb! Tom, Dimitry and the team genuinely care about customer satisfaction and aim to ensure the customer's needs come first and that they leave happy and content. This was evident in our experience and as has been expressed by many other happy customers. We couldn't wish for better service! Really good experience. I called ahead to let them know which car I was interested in, and they had it out ready to go, even though they were really busy that day. Dimitry was able to answer all our questions, and wasn't at all pushy. I bought the car and they had it ready for me the same day. I would definitely recommend them.

Wide selection of quality cars. These guys aren't just trying to get a quick sale. They actually care about the customer being happy and satisfied and it definitely shows. No complaints with the car I bought and the quality service I received. This dealership doesn't have all the fancy facilities of some other dealerships but they seem to know that customer loyalty/repeat buyers is the key to their success.

Personally I have dealt with lots of car dealers and to be honest I have to come out of my way to do this review. From the very first visit we felt welcomed, looked after and understood as our budget was very tight. Straight away manager Tom filtered the vehicles to suit our budget. We test drove 4 vehicles and chosen an Odyssey. We had lunch for 2 hours and came to pick the vehicle up fully groomed registered and serviced. Couldn't wish for a better service!!! Tom Sawyer was our point person at Goldex and he was fantastic from start to finish. I had a great experience starting with my first phone call, throughout the paperwork and finishing with them giving us a clean car! Communication was open and honest. They showed me each car that I requested to look at at each price point. Tom Sawyer facilitated the entire process very professionally and efficiently. Our experience with Tom was phenomenal. Being an overseas buyer in advance of my families 8 week holiday to NZ, we were looking for someone we could trust. We found the vehicle online in Canada, I called Tom, got a good sense he was someone I could trust, and by the end of the call had negotiated a reasonable price and had transferred $1,000 via online deposit to hold the vehicle 4 Weeks until we arrived. When we landed in Auckland, he came into his office an hour early, paid for the taxi van for my family of 6 to drive us to his dealership. We inspected and test drove the van. All checked out great so I went and transferred the balance of the purchase price. To top it off, while he got the van detailed and organized the WOF and transfer papers, he went above and beyond and entrusted me with his own vehicle so I could drop my family at our hotel downtown. Previously, I read reviews regarding how rude Tom was. Actually, he is nice guy, helpful. I think they are generally cheaper than competitors, due to location, as well as no fancy show rooms. This place you just want to grab a car without other fancy services. You will not get suite up saleman, tasty free coffee and upper class show rooms decorations. However, buyer might get good bargain and retain dollars in your pocket. I am very attention on detailed person. It takes over 3 weeks from 1st AA inspection repair, AA recheck, determined the issue and repaired it and finally pickup. Tom did his best solved all our concerns without any disputes. Therefore, buyers need to do appreciate diligence, and take good faith, I believe that Tom and Goldex car will sign satisfy deal for any buyer. Thanks to Tom and Goldex Car team.

I am shocked, still can't believe that such amazing service exists, especially in a car industry. Have been burned by my previous purchase at a differe place and been very careful since. Tom was great, he lead me through the process at my own pace and wasn't pushing me into any quick decisions. All vehicles looked prestine, mine in particular flew through mechanical checm. Overall great value and 100% this is ONLY yard I will go back to.

First of all some car yards you go to feel like a fancy restaurant where the reception girl at the entrance looks at your old shoes, your scruffy jacket and the car that dropped you off and tells you "Sorry sir but all the tables are booked". She just judged you and came to a conclusion "He is not gonna spend lots of money and leave good tips". Well Goldex Cars were directly opposite. Met at the gate by a friendly bloke (Kalem) taken around the yard on a buggy to see some cars and got answers to the hundreds of questions I had. Took a car I liked for a spin around the block with no hassle. Was fortunate to bump into a local yard mechanic (Stan) who shared his opinion on the car I picked. After got a great offer from a finance guy (Maurice) with mechanical warranty and few other perks. Couple of days later car was washed, serviced, WOFed and cleaned in and out and ready for pick up. Verdict: Great selection of cars, great bunch of people and great attitude even toward broke students on a budget.=) Cheers guys!

Don't normally write reviews but the customer service from this team was superb. Had been to 2 other places that morning where we felt like we were intruding, from the minute we entered the property Tom made us welcome. Showed us exactly what we wanted and saved me the agony of weeks of hunting for a car! I had my Toyota Wish! Picked it up the next say from Dimitri and the mechanic who were also a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately Goldrix had been given a dud battery which had ended up in my car, but no problem to them. Dimitri and the mechanic (sorry didn't get your name!) came after hours to my house to give me a new one! TOTALLY impressed with this team and my car so far!

This is an edit to my initial review. Goldex cars hasn't responded to me re a partial refund of MBI. The refund was supposed to come from Goldex Cars as adviced by my MBI provider Janssen Insurance, after the car was written off due to an accident. Had a good experience with Tom during the purchase though.

Best experience ever. These guys operate on big turnover small profit. As the consumer exactly what I want. We had a small mechanical problem after 10 weeks. Tom said no problems replaced the whole radiator the next day for free. Everything just so easy with these guys

I just bought a car from this dealer, they were helpful, but just be aware that they are the only dealer to charge 400.00 to register and get plates for your vehicle. They they say it includes a service which I personally thought it was stupid, you would think when you buy a used car it has been serviced by dealer before selling it. The cut and polish they claimed to do was hog wash, it was good cleaning and 1 layer of polish. Got out of the yard and saw the petrol light flashing - buyers beware this car dealer is not prepared to put any gas in your just bought car, its all about the profit. Also beware of one rude Russian guy in there who just want your money, talks over you and speaks Russian to others while you are trying to negotiate and part with your hard earned money, made me think he was talking about me lol ( I did not care). I gave 3 stars because of the service of Dimitri and the other friendly guys that work there. The car is OK as expected with the price I paid for it. Not recommended to buyers who get intimitaed by Russian rudeness. Last but not least make sure you have your wits around you at all times- or avoid this car dealer

One of the best dealer you find in Auckland. I bought my toyota vitz from Tom’s Goldex cars. The price was reasonable and he told me that if any problems arise in first few months he could fix. We recently purchased a 2006 Subaru Forester for my Dad from Tom and his team at Goldex. We were very happy with the no pressure atmosphere and helpful staff.
