Thanks George and team for work on my bike! It runs like a dream. I needed carbs and fork seals overhaul, charging system repairs, and the mechanic went out of his way to strip front brake clean and replace parts. Glad I went to George after other repairer could not fix. Reasonable cost, transparent operation and George keeps you advised at all stages. They picked up as my bike was not going. A+++ best in AK for motorbike repairs.

I am a very fussy owner of a 2007 Honda Blackbird. I am very particular as to who works on my bike, as I had it from new. I have used dealerships initially, but when the 24000km valve clearance service was due I was staggered at the price that Honda was going to charge. It was by chance that Motorcycle Doctors were recommended to me and from a service point of view, it was the best choice I have made. George and his team had just done my second valve clearance service (48000km) and again my bike feels like it’s brand new. Their workmanship and value for money I cannot fault. I have no interest in ever using anyone else again.

I was one of George’s first customers 10 years ago when Motorcycle Doctors was starting, and his service today is every bit as thorough, professional and punctual as it ever was. I trust George with my bike and know when he works on it, the job will be done right, on time and at an excellent price. Thank you George!

If you have limited knowledge of motorbikes except how to ride them, then George might not be the guy for you as he can be quite intolerant and confronting. I was quoted $250 for a basic service, which sounded great, however not long after they had picked up the bike George rang me with the up sell, first the chain needed to be replaced, and then when I got my bike back later on that day extra work had been done without me being consulted. Anyhow, big bill shock as I received the final bill of $650!!! My advice would be to go elsewhere, that’s what I did.

Took my sons bike here. Previous motorcycle shop in Takapuna really made a mess of putting on brakes etc. We had great service from George who knows what he is doing and it was done super fast. Will return for some more work soon.

Extremely happy with Motorcycle Doctor's work done to my close to busted Husqvarna 650. They were able to reincarnate my motorbike, indeed a Doctor for Motorbikes. My Husqy's ECU was busted and the bike needed a new ECU or a 2nd hand ECU that would cost me $$$. 😟 With George and Ray's expertise and willingness to think out of the box, they decided to rip my ECU open and have it re-wired. And it worked! My bike is now alive and in perfect running condition. Thanks a lot George and the crew! You guys are amazing! 👏 In fact, I still need to drop by one of these days to thank you guys again in person. I would not bring my bike to any other place. Motorcycle Doctor is highly recommended. George helped me out with tyre/brake changes, electrical issues and WOF the past couple of years, and although he's very cut and dry with his customer service, his work is fantastic and doesn't muck you around.

Had my F800GS serviced recently. Full service with some extra bits to look at. George was great with regular communication on what was required and how much it would cost. Awesome to have the bike collected from my home and returned later. Such a convenience. All in all a great experience and bike running really well. Update Feb 2020 Thanks again to george and his team for all there great efforts. They picked up my most recent bike on a monday from my house and delivered it back to me the same day after a full service. Cant fault this shop. I recently took my bike to George to fix some issues that another shop failed to fix even after charging me $700!! George was great - he replied to my messages quickly before I even took the bike in, he called me with regular updates throughout and repaired the bike with ease. Despite the back story I told George about the previous mechanic he was nothing but professional and instead of discrediting others work he simply got on with fixing the issues. Unfortunately this same company has again shown their true colours and left Motorcycle Doctor their only bad review - this review is fake and should be disregarded. I have now found my new bike shop and will be highly recommending George and his team to all my biker mates. George even delivered the bike to my home address when vehicles and kids made it difficult to pick up. I have ridden the bike more this week than in the last 6 months, it runs great - better than when I bought it! Great work Motorcycle Doctor. 7*s

I've been going to Motorcycle Doctors for the ladt few years. Every time the experience is great. If required, the bike gets picked up, everything is explained clearly, price is mich cheaper than anywhere else I have been quoted. The team is great and does small extras. Strongly recommended

Just had a full service and a chain fitted. George and the guys were great. They picked up the bike, rang me to tell me my chain was buggered and see if I wanted it done, and called me straight away when it was ready. Bike runs much better now and the price was more competitive than the mainstream brand workshops. Definitely going back again. Highly recommended. Great service. Cheers guys!

Easy and transparent to deal with. They repaired my DR650 after I T Boned a car and all the big shops and the insurance people wanted to write it off. But these guys had the right contacts to do fork repair and get the bike back to the way it was. Engine had a small oil leak due to leaky base gasket and that was also resolved as good as new. Happy to have my bike back.

Having a bike pickup service is also super handy, getting a bike serviced while I'm at work takes the hassle out of it. I called Motorcycle Doctors to get my carb fixed. George came and picked up my bike the following day, was able to replace the entire carb by the end of the day. Once I arrived to pick it up, George took the time to walk me through exactly what the problem was so I could understand how he repaired it and know what to do in the future. The customer service was great, the prices were fair, and the work was done quickly and correctly. I will use again and recommend to friends.

Straight up service no BS. One downside would be thier location. The traffic around them is bad during any form of rush hour due to schools and Wairau rd being as busy as it is. Ask to pickup by 2pm to avoid traffic or your bike will sit outside overnight as they don't have room for all the stock.

I brought my Harley in for a WOF an Gorge did tell me his team was very busy. I needed a back tyre for the wof an he organised a quality tyre i ask can u change the pads while you got the tyre off as his team did.so what I'm saying is they really went out of there way to get me back on the road where we all luv to be.

Took my 94 CBR900RR in as the front brakes were completely shot - no power and zero feel. They overhauled the callipers and replaced the 26 year old rubber lines with braided steel ones - the braking power is as good as new and now have loads of feel at the lever. Great quality work. I would highly recommend.
