Superior service and excellent vehicles! Nigel and the team here made buying a car stress free, enjoyable and easy. Not only that, but the post-purchase service was second to none, when I had my new car broken in to, Nigel made sure this was taken care of without any hassle and fixed to a high standard.

Alex was very accommodating and good at explaining some features. Very pleasant to talk too. Even personally delivered the car to us , two hours out of Auckland.
So what was the so so?
Well, having brought a brand new car only once before the little extras Subaru added to purchase made this one kinda underwhelming.
A small surprise bag wouldn’t be amiss , given we were cash buyers and it must be sign of times dealers don’t need to work hard for sales .
The other gripe I have was no mention of.any accessories that could have been chosen at the time.
I only found out later after looking online there were options.
We were probably just easy customers and maybe dealer lost the bit of excitement that goes with buying a new car , which is not something most people don’t do a lot in their lifetime.
It’s a big purchase and we were left feeling a little disappointed in the whole experience.

The whole service process from booking to collection is made so easy, including loan car, beautiful final presentation after and top notch customer service from their staff throughout (including early pickup arranged to make short daycare hours). Much appreciated and will of course be back, very happy customer thanks team.

Very happy with the whole buying process. Alex was great when we first walked in to ask about the CX30. Nice staff and nice cars. Alex gave me a good explanation on my brand new car. But, they forgot to put floor mats in the car, and I only realised it after I got home. So I had to message the dealer, and the dealer told me to come back to the store to get them the next day. Found it a bit unprofessional and disappointing here. Otherwise, it's nice.

Let’s get real. Excelling in customer service doesn’t JUST require skill, enthusiasm and attention to detail… it’s the consistency, that is rare. North Harbour Mazda, are consistent.
Consistent with timing. Consistent with cost. Consistent with enthusiasm. Consistent with attention to detail. Every time I have visited over the last 3 years has been the same: Consistently superb.
The team is fantastic, however Chris stands out for me. This is the kind of guy you want representing your brand. The face of the company. His knowledge, passion, and integrity are second to none. I’m talking true consistency.
I strongly hope that these staff aren’t just being taken care of, but are being offered significant positions within the company as a whole. If they can handle their day to day work with such agility and grace, it’s unquestionable that they will lead the entire group to greater standards.
I’m only writing this review because I feel compelled to point out just how impressive NHM’s customer service is.. and that’s as real as it gets.

This is our first experience buying a new car and after a few visits to other dealers we ended up at North Harbour Mazda. Sael was the first to meet and greet and assisted us in a very professional manner and showed a lot of patience with us "newbies". He made the whole experience a very pleasant one. I have been a keen Mazda Guy for decades and have enjoyed their consistently excellent service and professionalism over the years; particularly when I recently downsized from a Black diesel CX5 with a towbar to a Black proud petrol Mazda2.
This said, a real test of an organisation can be how well they perform when things don't go that well...
'Herself' is also a Mazda Fan and has loved zooming around in her manual Mazda MX5 NC since we bought it in 2005. After clocking up over 175,000 kms, 'we' had the canvas retractable top recovered by a specialist and then noticed the Roof Seals were perishing and leaking a bit.
So we brought the MX5 into North Shore Mazda to have the seals replaced with new ones imported .
Oops... this is where things did not go so well at first because Door Seals rather than the correct Roof Seals were ordered, imported from Mazda in Japan then installed. However, this is when the quality of North Shore Mazda's Service really shone through; after easy and civilised discussion they wore the costs of purchasing and installing the Door Seals while 'we' covered the price of the Roof Seals and their installation.
So... In our experience, North Shore Mazda Service are Good People who take great care of their Mazda Clients with Excellent and Equitable Service; Highly Recommended! 😊
ps:... but keep a careful eye on the Accounts Dept because they appear to be somewhat disconnected from the Service Operation and consequently, a bit prone to Discombobulation. 🙄

We have just purchased a new CX-5 Takami and to say we are impressed is an understatement, it is superb in so many ways and anyone looking for an SUV would find it hard to go past this vehicle.
Also, a huge thanks to Gina for the time she spent explaining the various functions that help make the drive even more enjoyable.
We would highly recommend North Harbour Mazda, the team are great and the CX-5 is one outstanding vehicle.
Updated: one year later (April 2022) we had our 10k service and the after sales service didn’t disappoint either.
We had a pre booked loan vehicle to use and when we returned, Chris the Service Manager greeted us and ran through exactly what was done and how the team had corrected a couple of minor issues we had raised.

No pushy sales or unnecessary work done. They did recommend replacing the brand new oil & filer with Mazda gear, but that's part of the parcel of branded/authorised places like this. Not pushy about it when I declined.

Bouquet to both Mazda NZ and North Harbour Mazda. My 3 year free service expires 28 Aug but they extended it to 25 Sep provided another 8k put on clock. Also, slight delamination (?) on top of leather steering wheel and within 2 hours they confirmed it will be replaced. That's excellent customer service which all adds to the complete satisfaction of owning a CX-5 limited which is a really neat vehicle.

Easiest car buying experience I have had in a long time. From the moment we stepped on the lot Logan Kopa took great care of us. Even when we thought we might go with a new car, Logan was helpful in getting is the info we needed. In the end, we went with a used Mazda that he originally had showed us. The loan approval process was easy and fast with Chrissie Titford. After we had closed the deal, Logan provided the most through walkthrough I’ve ever had with a used car. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dealership if you are looking for a new or used car!
