Awesome place. Could spend hours if I only knew more about cars myself.. Can spend a bit of time on the way out - thorough checks at the exit, as expected really. Remember to write down the salvage car number - a must for payment.

Check online for stock and part needed (if sold) before going. Bring your own tools. Broken part will be sold the same price though

I have always liked Pick a Part. I question the prices they charge when the cost of second hand parts you pull yourself are in some cases dearer than purchasing new parts. I m carefully for what I get from pick a part. The concept is good though.

Not a bad place located just off the motorway. They have numbered the cars for easy locating but you need to be careful as it's a bit messy with parts strewn all over the place. They have stock listed on their website but unfortunately they didn't have the part I required ..

Really like the system you have in place for identifying where cars are located. Very clever and easy to follow. Not so happy about tripping over on the uneven concrete in the car park, take care folks.

Very affordable prices. Nice personnel. Remember to put on proper covered shoes, they don't let in people in jandals. Update: still good in 2022. Lovely lady at the reception.

What would I do without this place! They've good selection of cars and parts. Pricing is kind of hit or miss, sometimes it can be an awesome deal and other times it's expensive for what you get

Great place to come and pick your own parts. We found even cup holder for our Honda. You get stamped at the entrance and after that, hunting can start. Parts vary in price, but total ends up being a lot less than any new parts or used ones advertised elsewhere. When finished, advise what was taken from which car. Customers can access all that info online to see if the parts they are looking for are available on site

They are good. One lady in the counter she is rude. If you see any car with in three days you will get some parts of it is more than that it’s your luck. They have of car parking. Location is really good. There website also really good that give you the whole idea about different car parts.

Located in the avondale/rosebank industrial area, Pick-A-Part has a wide range of vehicles on site. For $2 entry you can remove any part of any vehicle. Prices on parts are very cheap, i paid $38 for a right front seatbelt compare to $100+ I was being quoted elsewhere, and it was in good enough condition for me to pass wof. I have been here once before about 10+ yeard ago and it hasn't changed during that time, very reliable and consistent. Place is completely self service so you need to bring your own tools and possibly people to help. Recommend if you need a part quickly and cheaply. Parts may be dirty/rusty/moldy as the cars are exposed to the weather often with doors missing/open.

Somewhere I go to regularly and have done for years the ladies there are usually friendly but watch out if you ask for pricing nicely she will be a bat out of hell .

Maori Lady at the entrance desk was friendly and helpful knew what she was talking about. Rather than having the cars organised by brands like they used to they have some silly row numbering system which is dumb. Can't compare to South auckland yards and zebra but wasn't a bad experience.

Check the web site before you go. It's very accurate. The place is well set up, and you are told exactly where to go to pick the part you want. Of course, there's nothing stopping you from wandering around and finding other treasures as well lol
