We just bought a second hand Kia from Tristram VW today and Ryan Chong went above and beyond with his service. He is Helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I felt like he had my best interests at heart and understood my needs as well as my budget. I would highly recommend him as well as Tristram VW.

Great team assisting us to get the car which best suits our lifestyle and budget. Ryan has been such an amazing person from the moment we stepped in the shop til we drive off our brand new vehicle along with Emily from Finance! Well done guys and keep up the good job.

Ask for Joseph he is the best! He is amazing and makes the process really smooth. He goes above and beyond for his customers and tries to help as much as possible. Great service and they know they’re stuff. Just to Mention the Manager of Mg brand (Sam)he is Awesome guy and very knowledgeable . Whole team is very friendly and make the process so smooth. I will highly recommend them.

Friendly and helpful staff. Didn't feel pressured into a purchase and they were flexible. For example, letting us take the car home to see if it would fit into the garage. Would highly recommend.

I was in the market for my first new car, I Met Ryan Chong via the Tristram website contact page and he helped me in the purchase of my new POLO GTI. He was such a huge assistance in holding the car when i contacted him and ensuring it didn't sell while i sorted my finances . Even with distribution issues right now in covid, He got the var over for me on the day as promised. I would recommend Ryan and the team at tristram to everyone, they treat you like a star if your buying a top of the line luxury car or a hot hatch like mine. It made my first new car experience something special. He's a genuine nice guy and we bonded over our love of guitars and music .

I recently upgrade my VW Golf and the service at Tristram European was fantastic - special thanks to Ryan! It was quite daunting stepping into a prestige car yard but Ryan presented all options to me within my budget and made me feel confident in my purchase!

It has been a great experience with MG/Tristram - Darren and Dave. We have found the best car for us. They were very helpful and understanding of our current financial situation, and in turn did not try and get us to buy a very expensive car. Darren made sure that we got what we needed, David helped us with the paperwork. Both have provided outstanding service. They have gained loyal customers in doing so. Booked a test drive, confrimed it the day before and then i turn up and the guy i had an appointment with wasnt even working that day and they had sold my car the day before and not told me which would have saved me a whole trip. Originally a 1 star but they have apoligised multiple times so have improved it to a 3 star

Bought a second hand VW Passat through Tristram, and as with any second hand car there have been a few niggles. Even with lockdowns they have always been responsive and solve the problem. I have to recommend Paul and the team for the service given and the way they have dealt with them. Would definitely buy through them again.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking to buy their next VW or Skoda Car. We went in to test drive several cars before settling on a model, however we were unsure if it would fit in the garage, but the service team was helpful and suggested we drive it back before buying with 2 kids in the back. Been dealing with Charlie for many years and his honest and fast service never lets us down.

Bought a used Amarok from Tristram European. When purchasing and collecting the vehicle some extra requirements were discussed. Although I had to do a lot of proactive chasing up to secure the extra things (eventually completed 1 month after purchase), they did follow through with everything as agreed. I recommend Tristram European and am happy with the after-sales service provided by Paul and Garth.

I had an amazing experience at Tristram with my recent purchase of a Tiguan that we just love. The team were all so helpful and knowledgeable on all our questions and their service team went the extra mile for us getting our car ready to go with no delays or problems. This is a place I would recommend to anyone, we certainly will be getting our servicing done here too, they seem professional and efficient at what they do.

Great selection of new and used VW.

We have had our car repaired several times and we have always had such a professional service. Recently i had a situation whilst on the motorway with our car where i wasn't sure if i should keep driving or not.. we called AA who were no help so we called Tristam and spoke to Jono who was amazing - gave me advice and the problem rectified itself (Stone in wheel). We would never go anywhere else to get our car serviced or fixed and when the time comes for us to buy a new car we will be buying one from Tristam - amazing service!

I brought my car in for them to check a strange noise. I was looking for a parking spot and a guy came out of the showroom and guided me straight away. He also offered to park my car. At the pick up they were quite efficient as I told them I was in a hurry. They charged me a minimum fee as it was nothing wrong with my car The car was perfectly groomed. They also offered me a coffee while I was waiting. Highly recommended!

I have recently purchased my T-Roc from Tristram European on the shore, what a great experience, staff greeted me on arrival and made me coffee, then we went over and they showed me all that I needed to know about my purchase, they even coded my phone, which was great. Surly, lumpen, desktop-studying service attitude when I went to get the VW cheating-software fix implemented. I had, when booking, asked for it to be done as quickly as possible - I had been told by others it was super-quick elsewhere, and having been quoted more than an hour because they wanted to wash and groom it. (I didn't want a wash and groom, nor do I appreciate hanging around) Since picking it up, I found a newly-arrived fault, which though it can't be attributed to the visit, makes the recollection worse. I should add that the service was done in slightly less than an hour, which I thanked the phoning adviser for before I came to pick it up.

I recently went to service my VW SUV because the engine light was on. Jono was my contact point, and he handle my situation with high professionalism and care. He made sure I was taken care of, called me to give me a breakdown of the situation and offered solutions, and made sure that I was up to date with the latest situation of my vehicle. As I had to work during the weekdays, Jono even offered to come in before their opening hours to hand me the keys to my serviced car so that it doesnt impact my day. Really appreciate the level of care he offered me and the smoothness of the entire car servicing process. Even though I live on the South side of AKL, I wouldnt mind driving back to the North Shore to have my VW serviced there again!

Excellent everything!! We have been blown away by every person in every department at Tristram European - Sales, Finance, Parts, After sales Service, Concierge, even the the folks at Skoda were fun to talk to. One person stood out head and shoulders above everyone though and quite honestly if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have a big smile on my face walking towards our VW Multivan every morning. Our salesman, Rodney, pulled out all of the stops to get us into this vehicle and has looked after us every step of the way. I wont buy a car from anyone else, and we're already looking to trade our runaround for another VDub.
