m.outstanding customer service from the team at universal imports and more specifically chris, super easy to deal with even through lockdown restrictions. i bought a 2000 toyota celsior and am still over the moon with the condition of the car, both cosmetically and mechanically despite its age. all my concerns were dealt with in a timely manner and they've even offered to get a minor issue resolved for me in the near future.
overall, top experience.
B.BMW120i. Have restored my faith in car dealers, had not bought a car from a dealer for many years but was very pleasantly surprised by the professional service and attitude from John at Henderson, very friendly, very helpful. I specifically asked for 4 things to be attended to on the car before pickup, (aerial, cut and polish etc) and everything was attended to down to the smallest detail, car was immaculately presented and parked out front ready for collection. Price paid was about 10% cheaper than opposition prices, so a good deal all round, very happy customer, would deal with John again, highly recommended.

k.I write this review about 2weeks after I bought my car from them. I have been visited both branches. The owner of the city branch gives me a piece of information about West branch friendly. And John in West dealership, he is really nice person. I inspected cars without pressure. After I bought my car, there are several small troubles such as jog dial was stuck in the right-side. And He arranged and figured everything out for me. He knows how to treat his customer. He is super kind and truely has looked after my car. They have a good European car selection. Highly recommend!
I.Great and seamless car buying experience ! Andrew was very attentive , honest and accommodating , he is a great bloke and very knowledgeable and focuses on cutting costs so he can deliver best deals on the cars. After agreeing on the price he arranged all the wof , rego and paperwork pretty quickly and kept me updated through the process. Highly recommend !

A.Ive delt with Andrew,the owner of Universal Imports for approximately the last 9years. In that time Ive bought 2 vehicles from him. A 1989 Nissan Skyline Gts turbo coupe which was a truely incredible vehicle and gave me 4yrs of trouble free motoring. My current car is a Mercedes C180 kompressor wagon that Ive had for 6yrs now and once again aside from general wear and tear has been a brilliant hassel free motor. Once again I find myself back at his yard looking for a new vehicle. Him and his team are gret to deal with,very relaxed and will go the extra mile to design a finance package to suit your situation. Id highly recommend Universal Imports to anyone without hesitation.
T.Andrew and John were such a pleasure to work with. They both done their best to help me get the car I absolutely wanted. They were patient and did not put an ounce of pressure on me. I first contacted Andrew on the 7th of June and made my decision to purchase on the 1st of July. During this time they removed the car off the market for me and helped me with my finance application. 宋.I bought my car from Universal Imports (Andrew) two months ago, both the car quality and post-sales service are very impressive. Andrew is being huge helpful and supportive through the whole process. Nothing was too big or too small.
He organized all paperwork and get everything goes smoothly and easily for me. Well communicated with the mechanical warranty company when there was a misspelling in the contract and posted me a hardcopy in his own time.
Even though there was a minor issue, Andrew got it fixed at his earliest convenience and keep me updated. Contacted the mechanical warranty company afterward to prove that the condition is more than satisfied to go through if there is a future claim needed.
He responded to all inquiries on time and everything he did is much beyond my expectation. Really appreciate!

J.Ok, I would go with 4.5/5 for them. We put a deposit down on the car before we immigrated to NZ (and before the car left Japan). My wife did the paperwork when she got to NZ and we have been using the car daily since. Communications seems like it always has to be pulled, but all and all we are satisfied with them. We did have some issues, but they resolved, so won't hold that against them. I would buy another car from them.
