I wanted to write this review to acknowledge that I am super impressed with the service I have received from Blackwell’s Mazda Moorhouse when bringing my car in for it's annual service. I generally deal with another branch and while they have been good to deal with, I was blown away by your team!! Every staff member I spoke to today was absolutely lovely. Seamless operation. Purchased a brand new CX5 and had the pleasure of dealing with Sam Freeman as my first point of contact. If you're thinking of buying a vehicle from here, I would highly recommend Sam. He's not your typical car dealer - he's patient, honest, responsive, reliable, friendly and just makes the whole 'buying a new car' process so much easier and stress free (and no, I don't know him personally). He was accommodating and dealt with all of my concerns, my back-and-fourth questions with no issue. He's honestly the best and most honest car dealer I have dealt with in Christchurch.

Had the pleasure of purchasing a new BT50 from James who sorted me out with exactly what I wanted and never had an issue with any of the questions I had! He was very professional and made the who process super easy for my first brand new car purchase. Ben in the finance team was also a breeze to deal with too and can't recommend the both of them highly enough!

I took my Mazda 6 wagon in today for new spark plugs and advised that, since replacing the air filter, the car had been stalling when cold, and the engine (fault) light had come on. The plugs were replaced and a note was on the invoice about an "idle air control valve fault logged". I asked about this when paying and Sean (in the Service office) overheard and came out to explain what he thought the issue might be. He then came out to have a look at the car and, after removing the air intake hose and going to get some cleaning spray & a rag, fixed the issue right then and there - at no extra charge. To have that experience, and willingness to get in and just get things sorted, well he's a top guy and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Thanks Sean, and thanks Blackwell Mazda.

Had the pleasure of dealing with Becca who not only dropped the new 2022 MX5 off for me to test drive but came along for the 2 hour test drive. This car handles superbly in the hills, open road and around the bends. A real driving pleasure in the manual sports car. Where to start?! Amazing experience buying our new truck from Blackwells. What started out as a pretty casual enquiry around a ute and trade price for our car ended up with us driving our new truck in a little over 2 weeks! The service from Sam was next level. Had an issue that was a common breakdown/design flaw for my model of Mazda. Despite my vehicle not being listed in the recall list, Mazda proactively called me back and arranged to check the issue and repair it for $35. (Which may or may not be at cost but is cheaper than anywhere else would do it)

I organised a service on our 2013 CX-5 last week at Blackwells Moorhouse as the warning light had recently been turning on. I was contacted a few hours later with unfortunate news that the head gasket had blown. This was going to be an expensive fix. Sean, service manager, was very thorough and tracked down the vehicle service history as well as the existing documents we had from the previous owner. They contacted Mazda manufacturing explaining the situation and the result being the head gasket fix was covered by warranty. I really appreciate the team following up with Mazda and going out of their way to investigate the warranty cover for this issue. Thank you

I've used these guys for the last 4 years for servicing my Mazda Atenza and every time they do a brilliant job. Very friendly, helpful staff, and techs that know what they're doing and can provide detail where required. I usually get them to do the car's WOF as well. They've performed recall jobs with urgency and provide free hire cars (which are usually booked out a fortnight in advance). You do pay a bit more for all of this but if you can afford a bit more on servicing, I would highly recommend them. Thanks!

Bought our Fourth Mazda today - CX 30. Fantastic service from Sam who spared no effort to get us a good trade with our 2018 M3 and explain the features of the CX 30. I needed a car with a bit higher road height but not much bigger - smaller - than the M3 and Sam recommend the CX30. My wife is to trade her M2 shortly on a new M2. Andy came up with a good price for the Duraseal. I recommend this as when I traded the M3 Sam commented on the excellent condition. Now Holden has disappeared Holden fans should consider looking at many of the excellent offerings of Mazda.

Hello Seth, I wanted to send you a quick email to outline just how amazing your staff were. In particular Sam, Aaron, Scott & Andy. My partner and I came in back in April to look at a CX-5 and Sam helped us. We weren't 100% sure on the day and after some thought we decided it was not the best time for us to purchase a new car. Sam wasn't pushy and it was nice to have a salesman that was so relaxed about the process. Last Tuesday we decided that now was a better time so I tried to get back in touch with Sam even though we are now based in Wanaka. With him being away I called the reception desk who put me through to Aaron when I asked for Sam but they said he was on holiday I didn't really want to wait until he was back! Aaron was incredible in helping us find something that would suit us really well. We spent about 50% more than we initially wanted to but once we spoke about Sam's drive car I was in love and it all happened very quickly but so painlessly. Scott and Andy both coming in early on Saturday so we could get the delivery done while we were already in Christchurch was great! Arriving to a hot chocolate already made and loaded with marshmallows and all the paperwork ready to go was icing on the cake! Cannot fault your wonderful staff enough and needless to say that we will be back when it is time to upgrade or when my partner decides he ready for a BT-50! Well my Immobilizer activated on my Mazda Atenza..rendering starting it no go..After Ringing Blackwells Mazda here in Christchurch, I had to get it towed to their Workshop..Sean did a fabulous job in fixing the problem!Which turned out to be my dying Car battery!!With a new battery,my car starts so smooth now..If I could give 6stars I would!!The whole process was so sweet, just awesome to deal with..

Just went there to have my AirBags replaced by them for free due to some error on the previous AirBags. Nice clean place with quite a comfy visitors lounge. Got coffee machine to self service to. Newspapers and TV. Free Wifi as well. Staffs was good. But after they changed the Airbags someone left a pack of cigarettes and a notebook in my car. I gave it to the receptionist and they have no clue about it. After I left the place, they personally called me asking about that as none of their staffs claimed those items. Its quite weird and spooky as well. I think they should look at CCTV footage and what not.
