Harri and the team at CMG Motors made my purchasing a new car a very enjoyable and exciting experience. Every member of the team made me feel welcome and answered all my many questions knowledgeably without making me feel silly. I value quality service and honesty both of which I received in abundance particularly from Harri. I am100% confident that I made the right choice and I LOVE my new car.

From the moment we entered CMG Motors in St Asaph St ChCh we were hooked on the Haval Lux - all our research led us to the Haval Lux, it stacked up against our wish list and the colour is amazing - would recommend everyone to have a look, you won't be disappointed 😎 Thanks to both George and Lauren for their service from first look to drive away.

We went out looking for a vehicle for my wife to drive which was safe and current. It was a joy to work with Kent and Allen. Their communication was great. Kent has great customer care relationship and was respectful in his interaction with us. He is hospitable and makes you feel valued. Allen's attention to detail is impressive and he is easy to talk to. Great doing business with these guys. We are happy customers and might become clients soon!

Recently brought an MG ZST from CMG Motors and we found our salesperson Kent to be absolutely wonderful to deal with! this was a big deal for us as it was our first ever 'brand new' vehicle. We felt at ease with Kent and the sales team were all super friendly anytime that we popped in and were lovely to deal with, great environment to be in. The lady who we picked our car up from - Lauren was lovely, she explained everything we needed to know about the car in so much detail (an experience we had never had before with buying cars elsewhere). She was genuinely excited for us and made the whole experience very special to us (we even received a nice bottle of bubbly to enjoy! We will be back for servicing! 5 star service guys well done!

I'm not based in Christchurch, but I purchased a new car from George Tutton, who made the experience effortless. I highly recommend CMG, service is top notch, and I was kept informed and updated throughout process. Thank you!

I told my Girlfriend I was going to get her something large, fun and rechargeable for her to use. Found the place easily and sales people were great well worth talking to if you are interested in an EV. Product knowledge was awesome and no pressure. So after she had a go with it she was happier but still dissapointed as I guess she did not think it was going to be mine for her to use and wanted her own. Also the EV is on order and I guess she wanted a more instant gratification unless I got the whole thing wrong as she was a little salty after. Maybe range anxiety? Went to the dog park with the dog and left the GF to her own devices, dog and I had fun. Would have been 5 stars if the girlfriend was not there at least the dog enjoyed the day and trip even tho he stayed in the hot car.

This was the first time purchasing a brand new car and the CMG salesman, George, made it an exciting and smooth process due to his knowledge and friendly helpfulness. George ensured that my new MG3 arrived on time and when it did, he spent time showing me the controls and making sure that I was comfortable with the car including setting up the Apple CarPlay before I drove out of the yard. I am absolutely delighted with my new car and big thanks to George whom I highly recommend.

I was in the market for a new car. I had never purchased a new car before and how scared I was about the process would be an understatement. The experience at CMG motors was beyond belief. George was so friendly and had all the answers to my many questions, not to mention as my car matts were not available on my pick up date; George personally delivered them to my office which I think is going above and beyond to accommodate me so thank you very much.Lauren the after sales is impeccable and greatly appreciated. Also Andrew with finance was so easy and was willing to do the run around on my behalf I hardly had to lift a finger the process was made super simple and not scary at all and I am now a proud owner of a brand new Havel H6 Ultra that I'm in love with. Thank you everyone. Highly recommend you choose this great team for your next car purchase.

Had my eye on a car and in my mind I was sold. Finally made my way in and saw George. After a chin wag he suggested another car and well he was right on the money so to speak. Suited me and my needs so much better. He knew exactly what would fit and he wasn't wrong. Picked up the new wheels today and im so happy. Massive thanks to George, and Lauren for showing me what all the gizmos do 😆 (there are many). If you ever need a new car hit George up... you won't be disappointed

Highly recommend CMG motors. Recently bought H6 ultra. Simon was our sales consultant. The car arrived close to the date of delivery promised at the time of booking. Beautiful car inside and out. The car needed a software update for a couple of issues which was promptly booked at the service centre. Update took longer than expected. Car was not ready at expected pick up time. They organised to have the car dropped at my workplace. H6 is excellent value for money. 5 star experience at CMG motors.

Young fella who works there, Bryan, what a great kid! Like a clown I sat my cellphone on the bonnet of my car when in Fitzgerald Ave today. Realized when I was 7 kms away retraced my steps but no luck. Drove to hl Hornby to buy a new phone asked them to ring the number and Bryan answered said he almost ran it over but stopped and picked a it up. Tried to find me by ringing recent numbers. I drove to their premises met the lad and was reunited with the phone. Offered a small token of my immense appreciation and he said no but I insisted as it was a huge relief. Picked up our new Cannon Ute today!! Went to look at a second hand car at CMG a few weeks back and we were so lucky to meet Simon. What an awesome and genuine guy. He talked us through the Cannon utes, did not oversell and we left 1 hr later with a deposit paid on a new Ute. Similar experience today when we picked it up - Simon was just great. We dealt with Kent when we bought our new Haval H6. Best thing about dealing with him was that at no point he pushed us to buy it. We just kept asking questions and making comparisons and he kept replying to us. Another great person that we met here was Stu and it was great dealing with him. At the end we are extremely pleased with our purchase and the entire experience that we had dealing with CMG motors. If you are thinking about a new vehicle, do visit them once.

Harri was fantastic to work with; understood what I was looking for and demonstrated how the HS met all my requirements without falling into the “standard car salesman” language. In fact he was so helpful; my husband purchased a car of him a couple of weeks later!

We purchased a new Haval H6 from Kent Feer. He made the whole process very easy as our purchase was done during lockdown, so we had numerous phone conversations with him. We met Kent in person to collect the car and he took the time to go through the car before we drove it off the lot. Very happy with our new Haval H6. The grooming of the new car could have been better with a sticker still attached to the HUD dash area and finger marks on the internal doors and dash. Overall very happy with Kent & CMG Motors.

We just bought a Haval Jolion Ultra and Kent Freer was our salesman. Kent communicated well throughout the process and spent time showing us the in's and out's of the car. Very happy with the car and service.

You brace yourself going into a car dealer. Prepare mentally for the oncoming “pushy salesmen.” And then… they don’t come. Instead, you get George Tutton from CMG motors who doesn't try to “push” anything on you. He's helpful. He listens. He's accommodating. That was my experience with George Tutton from CMG motors. Always ask for George Tutton, he is the best! He goes above and beyond for his customers and tries to help as much as possible. Great service and he knows his stuff.

I bought my brand new Haval H6 here. Awesome car for the price. Staff are very kind and helpful. Strongly recommended.

My wife and I were in the market to purchase our "first, brand new car" this was a BIG deal for us. We had done our research prior to going to CMG Motors. After a no pressure test-drive, our choice was made, a HAVAL, Jolion Lux. The sales team, namely Simon Bates said they could make it all happen (trade in, vehicle colour, extras etc, etc ) - sweet. David Boyd also greased the gears behind the scene. As with most things there were a few bumps in the road - namely; our car was sold from under us by another sales person. As is often the case every cloud has a silver lining, ours was we were offered a Jolion Ultra model (low km - demo <2000km) for the same price, tricked out and higher specs. The car looks amazing and performs brilliantly, we are very happy. If I had any recommendations it would be "Communication is key" good news, or bad news, makes no difference. People just like to know how things are tracking. I will post another comment; after the post purchase follow up and the Jolion's first service. Thank you Simon and David. You made purchasing a vehicle surprisingly easy.

Highly rate Kent at CMG motors, went for a test drive in an MG ZST after enquiring about one seen on trade me. Kent talked through everything and answered all questions clearly. Ended up purchasing as ex demo ZST & couldn’t be happier. Allen at the finance department was amazing to deal with also. Kept it quick and easy. Collection of the car was within a week & Kent talked through the technology in the car just before leaving. Was also given a goodie bag & a full tank of gas which was nice! Cheers Sherman!

Thank you, Eric, for the smooth purchase and pick up of the MG ZS EV. The trip home was easy, apart from mistakenly getting into the far right lane at Antigua / Moorhouse corner and seeing a big truck heading straight for me! Sensible people in front, behind and beside us let us back in. The car is great - charging at home is a breeze and we have sussed out the ChargeNet fob and app so we’re ready for longer trips when we can. Figured out the Apple CarPlay setup - not to be used when driving, our son told me on no uncertain terms.

Have had a great experience so far with CMG Motors and Blair Smith when purchasing my new MG Zs. Thanks for all the advice on set up and the little extras especially my badges! Would def recommend popping into see the team if your needing expert advice while doing great deals.

Amazing vehicles and outstanding service! I emailed MG Christchurch a query the morning of Friday 21st May, it did not take Jake long before he responded giving me options to trade in my current vehicle and view the MG ZS. I soon arrived (that day) at MG Montreal street, and was greeted by a very friendly Jake who introduced himself, and was willing to help in every way possible. I was overwhelmed with how easy going, genuine and helpful he was. It wasn’t long until I took the MG ZS for a test drive, and I was even encouraged to test the vehicle for longer than the 20mins that I mentioned. Post test drive I returned to a very organised Jake who had given me options for trade-in , the costs involved for upgrades and the overall fortnightly costs if I was to go ahead. I did go ahead with trade in and sale and I could not be happier with my MG ZS Black edition! It is an amazingly stunning car, and upon reflection the service that had been provided was one of the best I have ever received . Jake was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly genuine. I must emphasise the word genuine because I truly appreciate genuine people and find it very difficult to find that in the car sales industry. Thank you MG, thank you selling me such a fantastic car, and thank you for providing service from amazing staff like Jake who is an asset to your team.

Just brought a Great Wall cannon Ute from them. Very impressed with the Ute and the Ute turned up pretty much when they said!! Can’t help the wee covid holiday inbetween. Overall very happy

I own a great wall nuff said right Sales team is helpful with questions about product but not pushy for sale or even test drive this is a pkesent shopping experience. The service department who maintain my truck are outstanding. If a extra Filter needs to be replaced they get your approval provide reasons and a fixed price. As this is the nearest to a problem I have come with my stead that is all I can comment on
