DJ auto came recommended from a colleague who had brought a few cars from them. I am now on my second car from them and both vehicles came in great condition and were exceptionally well detailed. This place should be your first stop in Christchurch when looking for your next car. Seriously. We bought an Outlander PHEV here back in June 2021 and it was my best Car Dealer experience in the last 30 years of car ownership. The car has been faultless. No pushy sales tactics, down to earth honest conversation and great communication, if they didn't know the answers to my questions they endeavored to find out for me promptly, no BS answers here. Gourav and Michael went BEYOND to ensure my vehicle purchase was 110% satisfactory before leaving the yard. They even organised a good quality tow bar fitment for me in record time same day at a great price. They can even source a vehicle to your spec in Japan and import it. Great friendly Service. We all know about the pushy car sales guy that doesn't give a stuff about you all they want is the sale, well you won't get that at DJ Auto they will bend over backwards to help you and the best thing is you can have a great laugh with them. My parents and I have been buying cars from Michael and I referred friends to him for the past few years. This speaks for the quality of the cars and service I received. And I recommend him to everyone reading this review. I only drive a car and don't know much about anything else. He cared enough to include radiation check for all cars we bought off him, happily fixed imperfections and so helpful in doing little things like reset light setting 1 year after the sale. I am grateful for what he has done.

I've bought two cars from Michael and his team. How anyone could find fault with their customer service is beyond me. They were really helpful, and I would particularly recommend (the owner) Michael as a really decent, honest car sales person. Excellent customer service. I asked to remove them back seats from the van in-order to increase the boot space and not only they removed it also didn’t charge for labour. Also hold the van for me for a week as is arranged my finance with my bank.

No annoying sales pitches or pressure. Michael is very knowledgeable and he was happy to oblige with several test drives. The best price and very well presented car!

Wow, these guys are amazing, right from the start of enquiry Gourav emailed me quickly and answered all my questions. I purchased car on trademe yesterday, and agreed with them to deliver within standard 5-7 days as I'm in Oamaru and in isolation so was not able to get there. In the afternoon lockdown was announced. They went out of their way to get the car to transporters asap for me, then to find out that transporters were restricted and couldn't get it to me (because of lockdown) thinking my car will be stuck in Chch for at least a month, then I get a email saying car will be there about 9pm tonight. I was amazed at their customer service. Workers where bringing car to me in Oamaru a (obviously they thenhad to bring two cars , one to get back) having to drive back there. I had already paid for car and they could of easily just said sorry there is nothing we can do, but they went out of their way ABOVE AND BEYOUD OF WHAT WAS EVER EXPECTED . I am soooooo thankful to them. Car is in great condition, very happy with it, seriously this car dealer needs a metal, for customer service and quality of cars. Thanks so much guys, I will never forget this experience. I do not know any of them I was simply another customer , and experienced awesome experience. Will always be using them for any future purchases and recommend them to everyone!!!
