G. J.I bought a car from these guys and it was the smoothest process and most professional service I’ve had thanks Sam and all the guys.
M.Such a high followed by such a low with this company, averaging to 3 stars - beware.
We purchased a vehicle late Dec 2023 after a fantastic sales experience, purchasing a 2022 model vehicle remotely (we did this for our first Hyundai with a great experience from another dealer). Very proactive, patient, and helpful sales. BUT on receiving the vehicle there were several small but annoying faults. Getting the issues resolved was extremely painful and slow. It was clear that our money was gone, and being located remotely, we were no longer a priority. It took six months to get most issues remedied, and only by perseverance on my part, but we did get there mostly. To top it off, the vehicle has now been in the local dealer for three weeks, with a suspected transmission fault - Hyundai NZ are very slow, and Gary Cockram have showed zero interest.
Summary: Expect great sales service, but after that you'll have to fight your own battle. Buying remotely was a mistake not to be repeated.
D. B.I find getting around chch a big challenge but when I found the place ,,they handled the oil change beyond what I was expecting they vacuum the car and washed it as well for 448,$ I felt that was good value

K. P.Great experience purchasing our used Santa Fe. Staff went the extra mile to make the transaction attractive and as was the case with our previous Santa Fe, a beautiful vehicle to drive and no issues to date.
Where they let themselves down a little is in servicing. Always a minor issue of some sort each visit but these all add up. Wrong booking time, dropping car off first thing but can't pick up early afternoon, serviced then fails wof week later because of brakes. Nothing insurmountable and the ladies on the front desk could make it all ok with some great customer service - instead it's pretty average for a customer facing role and so I've found a servicing option elsewhere.

After having a bad experience with a previous dealership we were pretty nervous about buying again , however Jason made our experience super fast, easy and enjoyable. M. R.I purchased a 2011 Santa Fe from this dealer. I have had quite a bit of trouble with it, an electrical fault to begin with, and then a very costly problem with the downhill assist. Throughout the dealership staff have been courteous and have fixed problems at no or little cost to me. Service is timely and the courtesy vehicles have been late model Santa Fe trucks. I am very pleased I purchased this vehicle from a dealer.

I. M.Found it disappointing that they don’t sell fluids for the cars that the manufacturer recommends to use in your vehicle!? I care very much about using genuine fluids recommended by the people that make the cars so when my owners manual said to use “shell b3” ,(for my Hyundai)I went to the one place I knew would surely sell the right stuff but they had b3 but it wasn’t a reputable brand like shell it’s was this Russian brand that you can’t read the specs on the bottle because it’s all in Russian!? I might as well go to repco or super cheap and ask for b3 because it’s not OEM procduct it’s not what the manufacturer recommends.... same with transmission fluids ect. I’m guessing it’s to cut costs from buying from reputable companies like shell,Castrol ect but it cost them a future customer I don’t care if their oil meets the “requirements” if my owners manual tells me which oil to use I’m not going to use anything else. And they should sell what Hyundai recommends they are a Hyundai shop after all? Buy on line fluids people....or risk it with this Russian stuff which doesn’t have the backing of the owners manual..... on a positive note the staff were friendly and parts are genuine parts but not the fluids
