Very good car dealer shop as their name👍my husband and I had been there few times, they did very good explanation about cars and really kind and friendly. It was professional and very details. We did so many questions and test driving few cars, they always gave us what we need to see and test. We feel really great until we bought a car and it was perfect choice! If you look for a car, this is the place. I recommended!!

When I first arrived at good cars, I was skeptical to say the least on what car to buy because I know hardly anything about them. However being approached by Tim he instantly gave me the run down on each car I was remotely interested in telling me all of the information I required. The car I decided with was a Nissan fuga 350GT. And she drives like a absolute dream. To top it off the guys at the workshop too took out a radar that was installed that would make a annoying noise. Good cars. Good people. Good service. Never been more true. 👍🏽

Picked up my new car this evening and I couldn't be happier. I dealt with Mark throughout the whole process and he was so helpful, genuine and friendly. Would definitely recommend Good Cars to friends. Thank you!

Purchased a Mazda CX-5 one year ago, it needed two repairs early on (starter motor & CV) which the car yard happily organized - also asked for the car to have a thorough check by Mazda and was told by the car yard all was fine. Unfortunately at its next warrant 6 months after these repairs were done it failed on 2 x control arm bushes (which I’m told signs of this issue would of been visible when the CV was replaced) & front tyres from the bushes wearing them out, another tyre had a puncture repair that was not reliable & could blow out so we had to replace that tyre too. Around $1500 cost to get it up to warrantable standard in our first year of owning it, was not anticipating needing to spend a lot in the first couple of years given its value. The car also still needs a transmission switch replaced because it often won’t turn off properly, can take up to 7 attempts to get it to switch off and the drivers window automatic switch also does not work. Given the car was not far off 20k it definitely hasn’t felt like a good purchase. I rang Craig about this and he stated they operate to the consumers guarantees act only so would not help with these costs and that they are wear & tear issues - I could understand that after a couple of years owning it but not in the first 12 months at the price we paid for it. We’ve dealt with Paul Kelly cars a fair bit in the past and they’ve done repairs 18 months after purchasing from them so they really exceed the CGA guidelines. Personally I wouldn’t buy from here again and going forward will always get an independent check done before buying any car. We’ve never had a car have 6 issues in one year of owning it before so it’s quite disappointing.

Thank you Good Cars, I love my CX5 and the whole buying experience was great with no pressure. The team couldn't have been more helpful and when we had a wee problem with the car a couple of months after purchase, the guys were great in organising the repair and lending me a car while mine was being fixed, thanks guys really appreciated.

Best car dealers in town!! Cannot recommend them enough 👌 I purchased a Mazda CX-5 took one for a test drive & loved it ! Very professional & knowledgable everything was explained throughly regarding the diesel and petrol versions so I went with the petrol as it was suitable for my needs , these guys are bloodily brilliant had a few laughs along the way 😁 thank you so much Regan for your service I had my heart set on one of these and finally have one 🙌🏻🙌🏻 A+++++

Just bought a cx-5 off the boys here at good cars, Reagan, Craig and Mark were all so friendly, funny and helpful especially at explaining the differences between the models and years and they helped us find the perfect one for us. Big thanks boys and when we need another car we will be back.

I agree that "Good Cars" should change its name to "Great Cars" because the level of customer service and support they offer is tremendous!!! When I purchased my car from them, Serge ( a Mini Cooper expert) sat with me for well over an hour, showing me everything I needed to know about driving a Mini. After driving the car off the lot, I had a minor technical issue, and I called Craig for help. I was very impressed at how quickly he responded and went out of his way to resolve the issue as swiftly as possible. He is a gem! The team at "Good Cars" are GOLD and I heartily recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a car.

We highly recommend good cars the service they give is Amazing. My partner and look around a lot of car sales, to find the right car for her. We found it at good car. She was really enjoying her new car. Then a engine problem came up. We brought to their attention and they did absolutely everything they needed to, rectify the problem. They ended up replacing her car like for like. She is now a very happy customer .. Craig was good to with. And give a 12 month warranty.

Craig helped us get a decent trade in price for our car which helped us transition into something that ticks all the boxes for us as new parents. Very friendly service and not pushy at all. I'm confident that we'll get great after sale care with Good Cars if we need it.

Amazing service. Craig took the time to talk through our options despite it being New Years Eve! Even managing to install a new stereo unit, swap wheels to non-winter tyres and lending us a courtesy car so we could get about the city for the afternoon while the car was sorted for us. Cannot fault the car or the service. Car dealers often get a bad reputation but we found this experience to be effortless and stress-free with no request too much! Will definitely recommend to future potential buyers.

Good Cars should be Great Cars I recently arrived back in NZ and whilst in quarantine in Rotorua i found my car, only problem was it was still in transit being an import. Good Cars pulled out all the stops to get it off the docks and had it ready and groomed looking immaculate for my inspection on the first day back in Christchurch, I mention this, as another dealer, who had a the same car on their court knowing i was coming to buy couldn't even be bothered cleaning the import dirt off it, so i didn't bother taking a second look at that one. Serge,Craig,and Isaac have made buying a car a great experience that's hard to find these days. Everything that was promised was done, and left me driving away in my new Subaru Legacy, confident of a great quality motor. These guys are just top quality dealers and would recommend anyone looking for a car to see them first, they are not pushy or arrogant and treat every customer with care and attention. I still cannot get over how GREAT my experience was. Over and above!!!! I had less than half a day, with pre approved finance. Serge spent the afternoon back and forth with the finance company and got me a better deal than I had turned up with. Lower interest rate, longer repayment term, better insurance. I got a fantastic car at a great price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and have been all day.

Both my Partner and I bought a Mistsibishi Outlander each from Goods Cars Christchurch. It is fair to say that we received probably the best customer service we have ever had.
