As usual very good service from the team. Valuable advice on size and fitting of the jackets I was interested in buying and no problem getting in a size that wasn't in stock. Speedy service and good communication & sharp price makes it a top of mind shop to buy from.

Staff are great! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I purchased my road bike and all my gear from here a couple of years ago and have kept going back for all servicing needs. Would highly recommend Tracktion Motorcycles.

Had a great service from this crowd, had a part organised from another shop that these guys had in stock and when I rang up it was all there ready for payment and postage details over the phone. Got sent to me in the North Island in a good time frame. Highly recommend, cheers.

The staff at Traction motorcycle (Cashel Street) went out of their way to help me out. Needed motorcycle straps in a hurry for the ferry and they had just sold their last pair. Ordering new ones would take to long to arrive. So they gave me the ones they use for picking up customer bikes (still in new condition) at a discounted rate and ordered themselves new ones. This was a massive help to me as I was delivering a bike I had just sold and new owner needed in in time for a track day in the north island. So not only did it help me out, but the new owner as well. Many thanks once again to the staff at Traction Motorcycles Cashel street for excellent service. I’m new to Christchurch and will be taking me bikes to them from now on.

Tracktion has awsome people to deal with from bike sales to apparel and parts and services. Easy to talk to service people. Very helpful. Good honest advice and have great general care for you and your bike. And have a huge range of everything that you need and if they don't have it they will get it in for.

Used these guys a few times now for Kawasaki parts. Always prompt response which is what I look for in a company. Good prices and quick delivery. Will use again.

Very kind in letting me test ride some bikes. Put me on to a KTM390, which I would never have considered, but turned out to be a real highlight. Also appreciate that they are the only bike shop that still wears masks, which is really respectful.

I would like to thank Carl and his team at Traction for all the help I have had to keep me on the road and off road both with my KTM 1090 adventure bike and my 350 Husky trail bike. Carl even loaned me his personal ride to get home after an accident, thanks again Carl. His team have fixed punctures on my trail rides, done my services as required and got parts for me when needed in a hurry. So thanks to Carl and the team for keeping me on the road. 👍

Hi over the last 12 months I've brought lots of parts for my bike. Tracktion motorcycles has been a great place to deal with and have also helped a lot on ideas when building my bike. Tracktion motorcycles is the best bike place in Christchurch I could spend thousands there 😁 thanks to the whole team at Tracktion motorcycles and jono.👍

Great knowledgeable people especially Kylie when asking for advice from a parent (Dad) who doesn’t know but has mad keen 12year old girl who loves her motorbike and wants more gear and now she’s 14 want a bigger bike. You can ask Kylie those questions which may be embarrassed about and she is patient with your no knowledgeable questions.

Friendly service and a knowledgeable team. Was a bit hard to get a quote for a motor rebuild and the final price was about 1.5k over the rough quote given brining the rebuild for the KTM690 enduro to approx 7.5k. I do think being able to buy a crate motor may be more cost effective but this was not an option. All in all, they have a range of off-road equipment and I have bought my whole wardrobe from them with no issues. Lots of sizing stock and they got in any sizes I wanted to try out.

The guys at Tracktion Motorcycles helped me out when I had a problem on my bike during a South Island holiday. Carl was great to deal with and I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.

Had a kdx200/kx250 issue. Grasskarting motor Johno in the parts department couldn't do enough to help . We blew up an engine a week before nz champs in invercargill. Lockdown. No stock in nz . Somehow it not only arrived ,the magic workshop got it together. Dropped a few drinks off as i was very impressed TKR Grasskarting team Will continue to use 100% recommended

Very helpful service department. One of the best motorbike workshops in Christchurch. Went on a Ride Forever course with KTM riders who also highly recommended Tracktion. KTM ADVs get hammered on our back roads. So speaks well they service well. Tracktion Parts and Service staff are great. I've had my bike collected from my home in their van for a battery and an indicator issue. Great service. Always able to book and drop off for a service a week out to pick up same day. Efficient workshop. Booked jobs go well. I'm out of warranty now on my Kawasaki and still go back to Tracktion workshop. They fit parts I supply like oil filters plugs tyres. Very helpful workshop staff. Zip Pay helps too. I will keep using them to fit parts for servicing. Your bike is too important to keep it safe to mess it up yourself. Look after it to keep safe.

All ways good to deal with..

Knowledgeable, welcoming staff and fair pricing. Especially nice is that after listening to my requirements they steered me away from the more expensive tyre I thought I wanted to a cheaper tyre that was more suitable for my all weather usage.

Great shop i know the ladies there know there busy very well. Great serive they don't push you buy. Very helpfull. We will be back again.

Always have great service from all the staff - Rob and Carl are never to busy to stop for a minute. Now in a bigger store this place will continue to excel, mostly for the dirt riders but making a real step into the road bike arena to.
