Our engine doesn't started from one second to another so that a tow truck brought us to Gisborne. Because it was a friday evening (20.12.) nobody wanted to help us and we searched on the following day in the whole city for help without a solution. We are tourists and kinda live in our van. Mr. Berry was the ONLY one that offered us to call us on monday, as soon as the mechanic is back at work, to tow our car again and check our van. At 8 am in the morning (23.12.) they called and checked the vehicle quick and ordered the broken parts over night. A mechanic came just for us on the 24.12. to fix the problem (fuel pump) and did a fast and good job so that we got our van back on the same day and were able to continue our travels asap. Big Thanks to Mr. Berry and the whole team! We are very glad that we found the right people to help us out of our situation, so we can enjoy christmas and our holidays now. We are sure you get a lot of good Karma points for that!

As a female I found it impossible to find a mechanic in Gisborne or anywhere for that matter that would give me an honest diagnosis and a fair price, it seem most mechanics see us lady's coming and we are instantly ripped off. This all changed when I found Alan Berry, I first gave him a go when I noticed he was running free basic classes on car maintenance for woman, I thought wow someone who is trying to help educate not rip off this is worth a look! I was very pleasantly surprised, and I have not looked back since I have found his team to be efficient, cheap and super friendly I have even had a car returned to me free of charge as the fault was so minor, try and find another mechanic in town that will do that! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alan to everyone, he is a Fantastic, Fair mechanic
