I am specifically referring to the Mazda service dept and Mazda parts dept in this review: Super service! Maybe more pricey than your average mechanic, but all the little touches and reliable customer service and outcomes make them worth it. Parts dept were also very helpful when I made a few enquires on accessories. Recommended if you have a newish Mazda.

Nicely located on Te Rapa straight, easy parking off the main road. A decent sized car yard with Fords and Mazdas, mostly Fords. The yard extends around the back of the building, so there are more cars than there seem to be from the street. Closed on Boxing Day.

I think the service department could use some work. Failed to find a simple fault in my husband's Mazda 6 had to get it fixed elsewhere.

Fairview Motors is by far the best dealership I have dealt with. And I have dealt with a few. They have great customer service and the sale of my car was the best experience by far. To be honest... The same guy on reception both times I went in to the office needs to learn some people skills of how to greet someone warmly...and how to smile.. That goes a long way with customers and he just doesn't have it.. But Reuben who did the work on my car was a top man. Very polite and explained what was wrong and what he needed to do very clearly and precisely...

Edit: They must have listened and have upped their game last four times now they have been on time and provided good service so fairs fair I’m upping from my initial one star. But will leave my initial thoughts below. Nice staff but the times I've had my ute serviced I always seem to be made to wait after due time although they have it all day, this time I was told it would be ready at 3 so arrived at 3.30 was told it was just getting washed and asked to wait in waiting room 1hr later no news so looked outside truck sitting outside wash bay in a line of 4 or more cars grabbed my dirty truck and left into now rush hour traffic to cross town.....hey Fairview don't tell me fibs just say you can take it now but wont be washed I'd rather wash it myself than sit in a waiting room for an hour...... maybe overworked staff.....nice waiting room though
