Bought a BMW X5 from Myles at the yard. Being located in Christchurch wasnt a problem and everything was done when we turned up to pick the car up. A few little hiccups but Myles had a mecahnic in Chch sought out the problem in an extremely quick and professional manner. Best car experience I have had.

Bought my Mazda Axela just before lockdown and the guys were really helpful and put up with my many questions! I didnt really know what I needed and they helped me find the right car. I love it and much appreciate the time you spent with me! Thanks heaps!!

What a pleasant experience! Not what I expected from past dealings with car dealers - these guys are great! Really easy friendly and they were super helpful. I don't normally leave reviews but thought I really needed to so if you need a car go and see them!

'Would you buy a used car from this guy?' is usually associated with the extremely poor reputation that used car salespeople have. I've had a few experiences in the past that would confirm the reputation, but not this time. Bought my Smart from Liam and could not have wished for a smoother, more open and professional transaction. Yes we bartered a bit but I got a great car that was excellent value for money and spotless. A few weeks later had a problem with the door lock that the local garage could not fix but Liam took charge personally and it was all sorted within a coule of days. Never a question of 'sorry sir it was working when you took it. ' Would not hesitate to recommend, straightforward, honest and responsible.

Bought a car from these guys online. I am in Auckland and they had just what I wanted. Was a bit unsure of buying without seeing it so I had them describe the car to me over the phone. It arrived just as they said. In fact it is better than I expected. Awesome car and brilliant service. They are really good to deal with and very honest! Recommend to anyone!

Looked at Smart4two in March, looked in excellent condition and had certified kilometers so bought it. No warranty offered but assured any major problem would be sorted by them. Liam was very pleasant and helpful so have no issue with him. 3 months on a service warning symbol showed on the dash, I rang Liam to ask if the car had been serviced before they sold it to us and he said no but it would have been serviced in Japan before shipping. Today, June 26, took the car to the dealership I bought my Honda HRV from who said they could service it. They rang a few hours later to say they had to replace the brake fluid, the oil was thick black and the filter housing was rusted on and it looked like the car hadn’t been serviced in a long time. Haven’t got the bill yet but suspect it won’t be cheap. My wife is happy with car, it’s the 4th Smart she’s had, but it’s very disappointing to hear about the state of the service. I think it would be good practice for Tasman to offer cars with a warranty and a service history, I’m sure that could be reflected in the sale price. Further to this review...Tasman Motors responded by saying the car was in excellent condition and fluid levels were checked and suggested the garage I took the car to we’re charging for a brake fluid change unnecessarily, ie didn’t need doing. I have used the garage in question for several years so have no doubt they are honest and do not “rip off” customers. As to saying we had driven the car for 3 months, so what? In fact we have done less than 300Kms since getting the Smart Car hardly enough usage to have the need to replace brake fluid and the dirty oil or for the filter to be rusted on. The car also needed a new air filter.

Hey everybody Tasman Bay Motors was a stress free and I felt confident getting a vehicle sent down to Christchurch even without seeing and test driving it first. Liam was pleasant over the phone went the extra mile and did a deal I was happy with. Only niggle was there was a chip in the windscreen when it arrived which I had to get fixed before I could get a wof/cof. Thanks guys for a nice vehicle!

A great place to buy a car. The salesman aren't pushy. The cars are very well presented and as I was a cash buyer the car was ready to drive off there and then all they had to do while the paperwork was being sorted they removed the price etc off the windscreen gave it a final groom and it was ready to go by the time the paperwork was done.
