Recently purchased a late model VW which needed a full dealer service, checkup, new sparkplugs and aircon regassed with R14 gas. The team here are very experienced and provide lots of options including dropping you off in the inner city after delivering your car for servicing.

After 2 tyres going flat today I was told by Tony's to get my VW towed there to get fixed as they were sure they had my make of tyre. Only to get towed there and told they didn't. They then told me If I wanted to get back on the road they said it would mean 4 new tyres costing at least $240 each plus labour. Thankfully the lovely Dave had my tyres and was more than happy to assist. I then got my car towed again to Gazley. I got there 5 minutes before close and the team went out of their way to work late to get the new tryes on and the car all fixed and only charged me for 2 new tryes not 4. The guys saved me at least $500 today and went above and beyond. I couldn't recommend the team enough. I can't thank them enough

Great after sales care! After noticing an issue with our Skoda, post sale, sales manager Isaac took care of fixing everything and had us back up an running efficiently. He even had the workshop take care of a wheel scrape without our even asking. Also the friendly groomer (Trevor?) helped us out by conveniently transporting our car during our busy working week. Awesome place to service your car. I have been servicing my own cars for the last 20 years but use Gazley now because my Nissan is under warranty. Based on what I have experienced, I would definitely keep using them after the warranty is finished. They are extremely professional and so friendly, I know my car is in good hands.

What a superstar!. She was incredibly efficient, accurate, speedy and super friendly. Good admin is really hard to find so totally look after her!

Bought my first brand new Qashqai through Murray & Gareth. I'm very happy with my first car. Overall I found Murray & the team to offer excellent customer service. The whole experience with Gazley was positive and pleasant. The most difficult part was actually deciding which colour to go for :) I would recommend Gazley if you are looking to buy a brand new car.

This is our first car buying experience in NZ and it was a great start! We interacted with Fergus, Shaun and Paul and it was an absolute breeze. They were well informed and receptive to our questions and concerns. Sure to visit again if in the market for another car. One satisfied customer!

Top dealerships(multiple), great vehicles with exceptional service. These guys actually remember names and call you back (service & sales). Sales is by people that know the products, cross sell franchises because they analyse your needs. They will call you in a couple of years and ask how it's going. Service isn't cheap, but when they make sure it's fixed, its clean , you understand what's required/done, you care but you pay !!

Super helpful sales & service team. We have bought both new & used cars from them - honestly wouldn't go anywhere else in Wellington. We are having an ongoing issue with our Jeep, but the team have been awesome with sourcing parts, keeping us informed, and importantly, keeping us on the road.

I have just edited my rating from just 2 stars to 4 stars. After my scathing review (see below) I was contacted by generic email to offer feedback. I did 😊 Within an hour I was contacted by the service manager who was mortified by my experience. He couldn't have been more genuine or helpful. He's instigated changes to their systems and has replaced the pollen filter and Brake fluid for free by way of an apology and I have to say I will use them again now. I also believe that if you had a bad experience in the past let them know and give them a 2nd chance to prove they do care. I was impressed with the follow up but of course would have preferred not to have had the "fight" in the first place. Very friendly but reality did not meet my expectations which were set using their online booking system. The "while you wait" option translated to a 5 hour turn around! All was sorted in the end but it felt like a bit of a fight rather than a smooth experience. Add to that the hidden surprise extras of pollen filter, brake fluid and wiper blades my $180 quoted service and WOF for an e-Golf soon bloated into $450 semi aggressive sales pitch. I was firm and kept the service to $250 after having to buy wiper blades from them (or they would fail the WOF despite me finding no fault with the existing blades when using them the previous day) Needless to say despite the outward friendly nature of the service staff I certainly will not be using their services again.

Professionalism is second to none. I’ve been very impressed with the service at Gazley. I bought my Jeep at Field days in Hamilton yet Gazley has been ever so helpful with servicing. If I were you I wouldn’t do business anywhere else.

We have just picked up our second Nissan Qashqai from Jeff, and we love the car, because our customers do. The staff at Gazley are friendly no matter what brand your looking at. I do recommend if you looking at buying a vehicle, go and have chat with the Gazley staff and see what they can do for you too.

Had a great experience working with Russell McEwan at Gazley Volkswagen to purchase my new VW Polo. Russell’s friendly and knowledgeable approach made the process very easy/stress free, and I appreciated that he took the time to follow up once I had taken possession of the car to ensure I was happy with everything. I recently took my car here for a WOF and service. I normally dread going to the mechanic because I never know if I'm going to get ripped off or not, but this time it was such a pleasant experience. The team really look after you, and they know their way around a VW. Wish I had thought about going here sooner!

Resolved the issue with my car however seemed quite expensive... feel like I should have shopped around before booking it in so that's on me. The invoice was not clear in breaking down the costs of everything and no such mention of labour costs at all which given the price seemed to be the bulk of the bill.

I bought my Fiat Arbarth 124 Spider new from their European showroom on Kent Terrace a year ago. I was given a $5K discount, and they were really helpful when, unfortunately my factory wheels were stolen. And just recently I took my car in to their service department for it's first annual service. They were friendly and helpful and were done in a matter of hours. The cost was reasonable, and they even gave me a brand new VW Polo as a loan vehicle for a nominal $20 charge. They have also given me a trade-in evaluation free of charge, and let me take the latest VW Golf TSI for a test drive while I was waiting. Certainly my next car will most probably be a Gazleys one and I will continue to have my car serviced with them. NB, they also had a range of luxury European sports cars for sale including a near new Lamborghini and McLaren and the latest Ferrari California (only $140 odd K brand new!). Always worth a window shop when in town 👍😁

Very professional dealership and service facility. Staff very helpful. But.... my gripe is that when I booked the vehicle in for a service I mentioned it need a part ordered in to be fitted at the time of the service. That was not done. Part was not ordered so I had to take vehicle back again to have the part fitted once it was ordered in. Wasted my time

I had my Nissan Navara recently diagnosed and repaired at Gazley Nissan. The fault was not an easy initial repair and while the vehicle was purchased privately and not from the dealership, Gazley Nissan offered excellent service to find and repair the fault. This level of service from a service center is refreshing and not easy to find these days. I would have no issue recommending Gazley Nissan and look forward to doing future business. Thank you

I have never really enjoyed buying cars. Over the years I have purchased many used and a number of new cars from dealers and often found that after driving out of the showrooms I am forgotten. Gazleys is different - my wife and I recently traded two of our cars for two nearly new vehicles from Gazleys. Neither party saw any of the vehicles, we relied on each other’s honesty and integrity. Trade in prices and delivery details were agreed and everything went smoothly. Since driving one of our new cars I have found that the spare wheel is not as I expected and advised Sid at Gazleys. Sid replaced the old wheel with a brand new one without hesitation; I believe this is the level of service which separates Gazleys from most motor vehicle dealers.

Recently purchased a 2015 Jeep Wrangler (unsighted) recently from Gazley. Great experience and recieved a great trade in on my old jeep. The team @ Gazley kept me informed and were honest when describing the vehicle. They also organised the transporting of both vehicles between Wellington & Auckland. Very happy with the vehicle and is everything as described by Jeff from Gazley Motors.

*** Edited: Since creating the review ive received a call from the manager who was very polite and has apologised few times for the attitude of that particular sales guy. He assured me that he will have a chat with him and that the incident was one off... Hey its great that the managememt does care what customer's experience is like. To such attitude I will increase from 3 to 4 stars. The fact that I had such experience it can not be forggoten but no one else will/should have the similar treatment. *** The car selection is good, not much under $20k and so is the attitude of the sales people that dont want to deal with you if they don't smell a sale. So it gives you even more joy to buy from the one that was respectful enough to spare few minutes with you not knowing that you came with cash and an eye on one of their vehicles. It almost make me wanna say too bad that such a great brend is presented by such an attitude of the car sharks. Since there is no competition we have to put up with it. Oh the admin guy topped it up made me wanna cancel the sale but the wife really wanted the car so I had to byte my lip few times. Wish I had something more positive to say but when you pay top dollar for car and you dont get the service to match I guess you get to feel the way we do at the moment

I called to enquire about a part for my car and said I'd call back when i was ready to order it. The guy I spoke to the first time was great, the guy I spoke to when I went to try order the actual part was nowhere near as helpful. He kept asking the same questions I didn't have the answer. He said he'd call me back and never did, and the next I heard was my part had arrived that I wasn't even aware the order had been put in for? Got the part but the lead up was... An adventure.

I test-drove a VW Golf TSI and decided to purchase after coming to an agreement about price & trade-in. I requested that they install a tow-bar and Apple lightning port and give the car a paint-protection treatment. On the day of pickup I changed my mind and decided on an Audi-3 after another test-drive. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they took my change of mind. I was served by Fergus who was very patient and able to answer all the technical questions I put to him. I am now a very happy owner of an 2014 Audi Sportback 1.4TFSI

I have to say Gazley is the best dealership to deal with in Wellington. From sales to service department, they are very professional, simply higher level than other dealership. Especially David at service department, he is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Compare the experience at other main dealership, Gazley will be always my first choice to go.
