J.The rental prices are excellent! Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. E-mails are answered quickly and efficiently. I feel you might be a bit understaffed on a weekend though. We felt very sorry for the lady that just started working at Basic rentals with no help until 8.35 am Sunday morning. She tried her best until help arrived. Overall great company and very happy we came across Basic Rentals. One more knowledgeable staff member that starts early enough on a weekend will give you 5 stars. We will definitely use you again in the future and definitely recommend your services to everyone else. It was a pleasure dealing with Basic rentals.

S.Basic Rentals, Takanini is the best vehicle rental company I've used. When you factor in their daily free km and multi-day discount, they were the cheapest truck hire I found in Auckland. Pickup and dropoff was really easy and quick. The truck was clean, in great condition and ran super smooth. It was very easy to drive. The availability of extras was great, though I didn't need them. Would 100% recomend.
S.Went in on the 8th to get a rental vehicle for our travels Gopal filled all my requirements I was looking for in a vehicle. Communication was really good the amount of traveling we did the vehicle was so fuel efficient for the 3 days we had it.

Hired a box truck which was perfect for the job.
Unfortunately the truck had a mechanical fault, alternator gave out, which was completely out of their control.
They had someone out to me ASAP to try and get it fixed and when they couldn't took me through to grab another truck which they allowed me to hire for a longer period at no extra cost.
Would definitely use again thanks to the price and them going the extra mile to see the job done.
F.Really straightforward experience hiring a moving van from Basic Rentals. Called up and had a price quoted on the phone, and they also knew the exact internal measurements of the van, which was super helpful too. Pick up was easy, all the conditions of the rental were fair, and the option to hire blankets to help move furniture was also much appreciated. Oh, and you can't beat their prices. Will be using you guys again for sure in the future!

R.A 3 star should be good enough.... vehicle was in good shape but did not receive all the goods that was supposed to be included into a mover pack but still payed for it. Drove over 60kms and managed to only put in about 5L of diesel when petrol nozzle click. Vehicle was filled to brim with diesel but stil had to pay an extra 5l diesel and got charged for that as well. In sayin that things couidv been differently on there side but i guess that's how they operate..... Good luck with business going forward and read the karma card on your counter more often..... Thanks :)

R.I hired a truck from them even in the past. Very competitive in terms of price and free kms .However I see a note yesterday when I am there to hire a truck, from 2020 Jan 1st you going to offer only 50kms free for 8Hrs rental and no kms free for 4hrs rentals, which is sad. Apart from these very friendly team and good condition vehicles .
