D.Overall pretty happy. Rented the cheapest car at Auckland Airport. Pickup was quick but I had a little trouble understanding their accent. The van had no signage and another customer also struggled to recognise the van. The car was old as expected for the price but perfectly fine for 2 days running around Akl. The collection was straight forward and only $500 secured on the card rather than the $1500 previously advised. The office signage mentioned other Chinese companies but not EZU. Drop off was also straightforward with a short wait for a lift to the airport
R.The car was great and ran well. No trouble in getting picked up and dropped off. The staff were friendly and polite. All in all, a great experience.
S.Absolutely perfect. Couldn’t fault a thing. We hired for 2 weeks from CHCH branch and were a little nervous because of some of the negative reviews on here. However our experience was absolutely perfect. We picked up a 2017 Rav 4 which was in very good condition. The check in experience was all fine, Yes there is a $1000 pre auth you need to put on your credit card, but this was clearly in the Terms of booking and to be honest is what you should expect from any rental company when you aren’t taking additional insurance directly (the economy bookings is a 3rd party insurance). We’ve always had a pre auth when travelling Europe so had no problem with this and those complaining should read the terms of booking more carefully! We were picked up from the airport in a large shuttle and taken to their HQ for checkin. On our return they offered to take us to the airport in our hire car as we had all our luggage in it. Even helped us unload the luggage at the airport Really good value for money. Would I use them again? Absolutely yes.

C.Had to buy two sets of insurances as the website I booked through didn’t specify I had to place a $2000 bond when picking up the vehicle.
I had already purchased through the booking company and Ezu said that because I didn’t purchase insurance through them I had to put a $2000 bond down or I could purchase insurance through them to avoid paying the bond. I ended up buying their insurance which was $35 per day, which is a lot cheaper than $2000. I thought nothing of it at the time until I witnessed a same couple going through the same predicament, which caused them to argue as they weren’t expecting this extra cost on their holiday.
Please beware of this and read the T&C’s
Overall the vehicle supplied did its job and was very good on fuel. They said I had scratched the vehicle, but was covered under the insurance I purchased through them.
Not sure if I will use this company again though
G.My original review was removed. Please take note of the $1000 + deposit which comes off your account. Not good if it was part of your holiday budget. I was charged a $1000 deposit for the cheapest car on offer.
T.I booked a RAV4 vehicle for 10x days and realised the total cost was 40% cheaper than anywhere else - I thought it was too good to be true! Turns out, it was very REAL and the service was absolutely A+, efficient and professional. The vehicle was really spacious and fit all our luggage in perfectly with comfortable leg space for our long travels. We were collected from the airport with less than a few minutes of wait time and dropped off again after returning the vehicle. The staff were very friendly with good communication skills, and extra helpful with all the extra assistance we needed. Highly recommended and will not hesitate to book again in future. Thanks for the wonderful service EZU! :)

M.If you want 1st class and really friendly service, don't hesitate, go straight to Ezu Car Rentals. You don't even have to shop around, I got the best price, a quality car, and they pick up and drop off!!!!

_.I was leery about using this place as there was little about them online, and they seemed to only cater to Chinese tourists, but they were hundreds of dollars less than the others, so I took a chance. I called on arrival to the airport and they picked me up immediately, and checkout was prompt with a free drop-off as well. This seems to be like a very small family-run place, but their English is perfect, and the car was good.
