H.Prices are decent also there's a $250 bond the website didn't bother to inform me of, luckily they had my card details on file since I didn't bother to bring any extra money with me costing me 1000 and some change. After signing on the dotted line they drive out the oldest bloody truck in the lot, tires looking like they had seen better days, the folding doors left side roller jammed, reverse camera screen belongs in the year 1999 😄 anyway it made the first leg of the trip and fingers crossed it makes it back.
***(EDIT*) Returned from the second leg slowly but without problems, Thanks Sharnie Ah Kam for allowing me extra time to top the diesel up and for the 15% discount. Really helped change my original rating from a 3 star to a 4. Cheers.
K.To date my experiences with Hireace Onehunga have been very positive..
So much so they have become my “Go To” place for any vehicle or trailer hire.
In particular the branch manager has been very helpful, courteous and problem solving..

L.For 10 years now, I've used Hireace Onehunga.
Moving houses and road trips, they've always gone above trying too accommodate my needs.
The cars, vans or trucks are good value, the sound system is always loud with all the radio channels, great for the road trips,maintained well and clean.
Great, affordable prices too, the best in town!!!!
Sharnie is the Best!!! Love her work, great customer service, knows her products and can think fast on her feet.
If your looking for some thing in the area, I would recommend this place 👌

G.Work related visit so not much contact. That being said the front office staff were well versed in their job. Exceptionally happy young lady who never once stopped smiling helped me with a vehicle return. Front line staff are the reason some people keep coming back and this Company is no exception. R.They are always pretty good although some of them are a little slow on the computer. Make sure they return your driver's licence after they photocopy it. Twice I've had to drive back there to get it.
P.The Hireace Onehunga team was friendly and accommodating. There was accidental scratches that happened while renting the van but luckily I took the full insurance. The team also helped me throughout the claim process which made it very easy. Highly recommended.

A.Anthony is the nicest lad. I live across the street and popped into Hireace to see if I could use cables to jump my car because my battery had died. He was so friendly and lovely to me and got the jump box, came out to my car with me parked down the road (in the pouring rain) and got my car started then gave me advice regarding it. W.I couldn't have imagined my experience with the Onehunga Hireace going any better. Website experience was super simple. I hired one of the smaller truck to move house and they had it ready for me. They forgot one of the extras I ordered, but they apologised straight away and took the charge off my mileage for me. Highly recommend!

C.Awesome experience with this branch. Everything was ready when we arrived. The guy we dealt with was superb - very organised, personable, funny and efficient. He walked us around the van - went over the agreement and asked if we had any questions. When we returned the van, they were ready with the final paperwork - again we found them very efficient and professional. Will definitely be using them again for future hires. Great value for money, and it was just so easy (not like some other hire places!!!).

J.Landed in Auckland and phoned Hireace, the girl on the phone was rude, then phoned flyway shuttle, couldn’t understand the driver or hear him due to the loud music in the background.
Picked the vehicle up which was not very clean but ran really well and was reliable. Dropped vehicle off on time and full of fuel. Not even a week later I receive a receipt from Hireace including a fuel charge of $72. After emailing and then receiving a phone call from Michael at Hireace, I was refunded $100 for the inconvenience. This goes a long way in my books when companies are honest about mistakes and are willing to listen and take on board negative feed back, thank you Hireace. What could have been a low review turned into a fair one.
P.The folks at Onehunga Hireace are top-shelf. They set me up with what I wanted and looked after me. I highly recommend them and will go back to them next time I need to hire a van. Thanks guys!
S.Fast service. Got my van. Drove it 680km. It worked. No issues. Reasonable price. I took the $40 Platinum no excess insurance cover and the $3 glass cover. It's worth $46 to be able to gangs them the keys and walk away if some other car trashes the van while it's in my care.
M.Rented a trailer for two hours to shift a bed. Fantastic experience, the team helped attach and detach the trailer no problem. Good price (from memory 35$ish for a cage trailer). I booked over the phone via the central office which worked well, the paperwork etc. was waiting for me when i got there which cut down processing time.
If you plan on renting i would recommend approaching the site from the north (to avoid Onehunga traffic!)
