Rented a Ford Transit for a day to move houses and got the transit jumbo which was a big plus to our move. The vehicle was in good condition and easy to drive. Customer service was great, the guy at the front was really good at explaining the whole process which made everything quick and easy. Paid $134 for the day incl. fuel. They have diesel pumps onsite which helped as I did not have to worry filling up the van before returning.

Very good cars and great service. I went there unsure of what type of vehicle to get for my house move, staff helped me to get the correct vehicle and it worked great for me. Considering the vehicle quality the charged rate was reasonable, wish it was much cheaper though 😊

Rented a Ford Transit. They filled out all the paperwork, I had to show licence and sign. Simple. They expect you to know the tricks for driving the particular vehicle though. I wasn't used to ones that turn their diesel motor off automatically when you idle in neutral, then self start when you depress the clutch to put them into gear. All up cost for the day $124.79 plus $8 to fill her up again. Another trick, ignition key opens fuel cap.

Moved house to new property. The van I got was like driving a monster truck....was Awesome!!! Good size van for moving all our things in our house.Staff are kind and freindly, and willing to help with any inquiry when renting there vehicles.Thanks again. Highly recommend if needing to move large furniture.👍

Funny rental place. Like stepping back in time. Lots of manual forms. Pricing plus GST. So you think it’s better value than it is.... They stuffed my booking up, took a while to fix the issue.... all the vans were out, blah blah, then wanted to charge me for the next size up which I specifically didn’t want. But we got there in the end. They don’t charge extortionate refuel charges and the staff are friendly enough. Good location (ie not at the airport and not in the city). If only they would modernise.

Always friendly, reliable and clean vehicles - all fairly priced. They have onsite filling available so no issue if you run out of time to fill up (no surcharge!) and also have limited free and safe parking for your car - winner! Recommend them.

The team at Metropolitan rentals have been fantastic over the COVID period. Here at Junk Run we have been doing essential contractor work throughout level 4 and again at level 3 - and we required large trucks at short notice several times which they gladly provided. Thank you to all of you there.

Always friendly, and because Church has an account I don't have to fluff around refilling before I take the truck back. Also they have free safe parking for your own car, you just have to ask for a paper to go on the dash

These guys are awesome. They didn't even leave me on my own when I needed to move the houses during the lockdown (contactless). All was as per previous arrangements, they helped me to go through the hiring as smooth as possible. Definitely the best experience I had (5 times I used their services). Thanks. Recommended!

I have often used Metropolitan rental vehicles . The cars / vans are always in great condition as well as the vans , pick up and return no problem .I often rent for 4-5 days and get a better rate . The large Mercedes vans are great when moving a large amount of things .

Called up and booked - friendly helpful staff. Asked lots of questions about van sizes, lengths etc and they recommended the right vehicle for me. Easy to sort out, easy pick up and drop off. Lots of vehicle options, highly recommend using them for your moving vehicle.
