Was such a cool experience using transfer car, we got a campervan from Christchurch to Auckland, at first the guy we had showing us the car wasn't very helpful, he asked if we had any questions and his answer to everything was I don't know I guess so, he knew nothing. And it also took around 2 hours which set us behind in our drive since we planned to leave way earlier thinking it wouldn't take that long. But the lady we had on the drop off was helpful lovely and got the handover done quickly which is what we wanted. was such a cool wee van had everything we didn't think it would have, the bed in the back was the most uncomfortable thing ever but the adventure we had was unforgettable! Being able to explore our country in a vehicle that's free is awesome! Thank you very much

Booked our transfer car from Wellington to Auckland through their website which was very easy and detailed all the costs etc. No hidden charges at all. It was way cheaper as we only had to fuel up once on the way and pay the reduce cover cost. Definitely recommend to use the transfer car.

I used Transfer car to travel from Wellington to Auckland. The car I was given to relocate was comfortable and had a spacious feels about it. At the pick up the staff were friendly and helpful. At the drop off in Auckland, equally efficient. I hadn't even got out of the car when a staff member appeared, gave the car a quick check, then a shuttle took me to the airport and dropped me at the bus stop. I'd use the service again. The car was fuel efficient, just one tank for the trip.

Great rental car experience. Super easy to book and got exactly what was advertised. The rental company we got our car from was Ace Rentals. We picked up in Christchurch and dropped off in Auckland. The next time we're in NZ we'll definitely use Transfercar again

Had a transfer car from Wellington to Auckland. The pick-up was very simple and went super fast, the staff informed us well about insurance and everything else. Great car too! Would definitely do it again.

Great service. I got a rental from Dunedin Airport to Christchurch then picked up another car in Christchurch and drove it to Nelson. Great little 2017 model cars, fabulous staff all the way through. I would definitely recommend and will be using this service again.. Thank you so much.

Just used Transfercar for the first time to take my brother on a road trip from Wellington to Auckland. It was a strange and kind of surreal experience picking the rental car and not having to pay for it. One of the few things in life that seems too good to be true, but actually isn't! I'll definitely be making use of this service again in the future and recommend it to everyone. Why is this service still so under the radar? The even gave us a free tank of gas!!

I have used this twice now, from Kerikeri to Auckland and from Queenstown to Auckland. Both times, pick up was quick and easy, with drop off even easier. The vehicles were exactly as expected, with staff happy to help with any queries or concerns. I have already recommended Transfercar to friends and family and look forward to using their services again.

I had heard about relocation vehicles, but thought there had to be a catch. Wanting a cheap way to return from Wellington after flying down for a family function, I decided to take, what I perceived was a punt. The only cost was for petrol and we had a late model car for the weekend, plus the freedom to stop when and where we wanted. Considering the wear and tear and having to take time off work to drive down in my car, I have well and truly won. The money saved by not taking my car down paid for the cheap airfare. We are now looking at bring a campervan back from the South Island.

We were pleasantly surprised by how new the car was. We had no problems at all with booking or receiving confirmation. The company we relocated for were excellent. Friendly staff. We have relocated vehicles several times & transfer car are the only company we would deal with as their deals are genuine.

What a way to go! A beautiful new little Kia SUV for our touristic trip from Wellington to Auckland, and helping Thrifty along the way. Confirmation within 18 hours after a failed attempt that I thought was final. At the counter at Wgtn airport, I was treated respectfully, just like a paying client. Totally satisfied.

I used tranferscar to find a relocation car from Wellington to Auckland. I had 3 days to get to Auckland which was enough to travel around in the North Island (Taupo, Rotorua, Raglan...). Travelling in New Zealand can be expensive so a relocation car is a really good deal even if you have to pay for the insurance (around 20 dollars each day) ! Great for students !

We needed a car from Christchurch to Dunedin & it costs such a lot to return to another location...we checked Transfercar and there was one available FREE! Great savings to be enjoyed.

Took car from Christchurch to Auckland over 6 days. Only had to pay insurance, and any petrol used (came with one free tank).

Excellent way of getting round New Zealand, for free! Cars can vary - which makes it interesting - and sometimes you get petrol and sometimes you don't, but a great way to save some money.

Extremely happy with this service would definitely use again and highly recommend for anyone looking to travel around the South Island or anywhere else. Very convenient also.
