Highly recommend Anzed rentals. Vaughan was friendly and made the process super easy. Car was in great condition and perfect for driving around Christchurch. Will definitely use them again!

Really recommend Anzed rentals! Vaughan was really helpful and went out of his way to make things work for us. He was really friendly to deal with, and didn’t sweat it when we made life a little more difficult for him! We also got fantastic hire prices that we could not have got anywhere else. Great service!

Would 10/10 reccomend ANZED Rentals to anyone! We were just locals looking to hire a rental for the weekend last minute not knowing in the next hour it would be all sorted with papers signed electronically and payment made super fast. Anzed Rentals were recommended by a good friend of ours. Good thing we took the advice! Vaughan and Charlotte went out of their way to arrange our transpo on such short notice. Lovely attitude towards us and was genuinely willing to help. The car they provided didn't miss a beat and was sparkling clean. The best car hire experience I've ever had. As well as a great car and no insurance issues, Vaughan threw in a thermos and chilly bin (esky/cooler)! Vaughan also gave great travel advice, and I visited several great places not on my original plan thanks to his tips. I also hired some camping gear from Anzed, which made the trip pretty easy too. Thanks so much, I can't recommend you highly enough.

This is the best car rental service I have used. Vaughn provides a better value and more personal service than any of the bigger companies. We rented a Lexus from him for a South Island tour for 10 days, we saved nearly a thousand NZD not using a bigger company cashing in on peak season plus Vaughn threw in a chilly bin and other extras like sat Nav without further charge. The car had one minor issue while we were in Wanaka and Vaughn had a contact with us in 10 minutes. There were no hidden fees or extras that I have experienced with others, the handover was simple and hassle free and he even dropped me back to the airport - can not recommend highly enough.

I stumbled upon Anzed while researching for a reliable car rental services for my holiday in NewZealand in November 2019. The booking process were very smooth and prices were very competitive. The confirmation email from Anzed and follow up emails from Vaughan were enough for me to come to conlusion that I have chosen well. Vaughan was very helpful and willing to anwer any question about visiting New Zealand. We had a minor issues with the availability of car that we had booked, as it developed some issues couple of weeks before our arrival. Vaughan was very transparent and proactive in arranging an alternative that suited our requirement and we were very happy with the replacement car. The car was in good shape, clean and well maintained. Upon arrival Vaughan picked us from the airport and took to their office, where we completed the formalities. He gave us some invaluable recommendations for the trip, especially, suggestions on the places to visit while we drive down to queenstown. The suggested detours were just incredible. He was very considerate and offered us bunch of extra stuff like a thermos, foldable camping chairs and a bluetooth receiver for the car ( really thankful for that last one). Anzed is very reliable and customer friendly company. Based on our experience with them, I highly recommend Anzed . Thanks for making our trip all the more fun. Cheers!!

It was absolutely amazingp experience with ANZED rental company! Vaughan (I guess the owner) was friendly, helpful and really kind. He didnt want any deposit or credit card. He just simply rented us a car as it should be. Car was clean and everything worked well! The price was 3x lower than in other companies (where you have to leave a huge deposit) and car was excellent! We got plenty of traveling tips and even drop off to hostel after returning the car. Before our trip I was looking for a car and comparing prices at least for 3 hours and then finally found the ANZED! Thank you and I really recommend this company. My wife and I spent 4 months in New Zealand in the first half of 2018, since I was able to visit the University of Canterbury for a semester under their Erskine Fellowship programme. We were keen to have an inexpensive, but clean and reliable rental car for the entire period. Since this was going to be a significant investment, we did a lot of internet research and found that Anzed Rentals had not just the best prices for long-term rentals, but also by far the best customer reviews of any car rental company. We therefore decided to go with them, and we were not disappointed. From the off, Vaughan was excellent in all of his communications with us, responding very promptly and helpfully to email enquiries. We spent most of our time living in Christchurch, but also went on two extended road trips. The first, longer one was a 2.5-week tour around the South Island. The car we had settled on as ideal for Christchurch was an older model Nissan Demio. However, we were a little concerned about using this for our long road trip, since the boot space in this car has no cover, so our suitcases would be visible. When we mentioned this, Vaughan offered to let us us a different (more expensive) car with a covered boot for the trip, at no extra cost! He also offered to provide camping gear etc for our trip (again, all for free), and was fantastic in picking us up from the airport on arrival and dropping us off there again on the day of our departure. On top of this, he came into the office especially for us early on a Saturday at the beginning of our second road trip, in order to make sure we had snow chains and knew how to use them. The bottom line is that we can't recommend Anzed highly enough. They really are fantastic -- they offer brilliant value for money, and their customer service is in a completely different league from your standard large-chain car rental companies. We'll definitely use them again if we return to NZ.

Really great service - Vaughan puts the effort you might expect from a top-rated B&B owner into car rental - not just a car but also great advice on how to get around (and where to get the best pies). The Nissan Sylphy was a great car for road tripping around the South Island too, very clean and didn't miss a beat.

I cannot recommend Anzed Car Rentals enough. Without any additional charges they provided us with an esky (chilly bin), freezer blocks, thermous flask, cups, mobile phone, folding chairs, maps, and guide books!!! They collected us from our motel on the first day and returned us to our motel when we returned the car. The car (Nissan XTrail) drove like a dream for the 12 days we were there! We had a totally trouble free holiday thanks not only to the smooth running of the car, but also the extras they loaned us. We will definately be using Anzed next visit.
