Great service. Easy check in and pick up of car. We were booked for an after hour pick up. Our flight was canceled and we had to take an even later flight. Courtesy van from airport was great especially since it was quite late at night. Car was great, I loved driving it. Easy to handle, good on fuel. I would definitely use this company again. Although I would probably note for next time the specific need of carseat as we travelled with an 11-month old and the carseat provided was not suitable for his age and provided no support. Otherwise the staff were amazing. The whole process was stress free.

We had a great experience renting a car here - absolutely seamless. Using the app, we booked a car a very short notice and were promptly picked up from the airport. Our car was waiting on the forecourt with keys in hand. All we had to do was jump in - very easy. Staff were very accommodating and the shuttle driver was very helpful and efficient. Great professional services. Great range of vehicles available at competitive rates and all vehicles are in as new condition. Very latest models available. Smooth and comfort of rides even the shuttle that picked us up from the airport. Shuttle is large enough to fit in upto or maybe more then 10 people including baggage. The shuttle driver was a nice bubbly person and chatted all along and helped with luggage. Quick paperwork and walkthrough of the vehicle. Even better was the drop-off process.

Great rental company. I rented a Toyota pickup in February and had a good experience with the company. Everything was as promised, I know, I am used to renting cars in the US. The App summoned the shuttle to get me from the Christchurch airport and had me at the counter in moments. Go Rentals even was able to extend my return a few hours for a small fee which I was happy to pay for my convenience. I rented a diesel power vehicle and was impressed with its power and the cost effectiveness at the pump! I basically paid at least 1NZD less per liter at the pump vs Petrol, which quickly outweighed any inefficiency because of vehicle size. I drove 2,800 KM (without any damage) so they do mean unlimited miles. Please research any driving journey in New Zealand, as the roads are quite different, there is a lot to learn quickly.

This is not the first time I have used GO Rentals and it won't be the last. I used their App to check in before I had even arrived so that picking up the car was super fast. On arrival at the airport I used the App to call for a pick-up to the depot and only had to wait a couple of minutes for someone to arrive. The return was just as seamless. The car I got was extremely economical and ran well. The staff I dealt with were all friendly and professional. I couldn't fault a thing.

Nice Car and Good Price We rented a Toyota Rav4 for 18 days. Unlimited kilometers. Pick up @ Auckland and Drop off @ Christchurch. Car was brand new. Only the pick up took a bit long. Everything else was excellent.

2nd time we've hired from GO Rentals CHCH. First time we hired a RAV4 4WD in Aug 2020. We were pleasantly surprised when they gave us a Ford Ranger Wildtrak with only 9,000km on the clock instead of the Toyota Hilux we hired. We drove CHCH>QTOWN>CHCH. It was a comfortable ride with no issues. Pick up was quick and easy. Same with an earlier than expected drop off due to level 4 lockdown. Friendly staff each time. Would happily hire from them again. If they manage to find my ring and one of my earrings that I'm pretty sure fell out of my open handbag down a small area of the backseat I couldn't get access to I'll be stoked and forever grateful for there return 🥲

I like these guys! Its an easy stroll down to the pick up area & a big pink van will take you back to their depot which is literally 3 minutes away. No worrying about navigating out of the airport carpark. Same in reverse when you return your car. It's an easy drop off back at the terminal & frankly a very short walk to check in. Rented the Hyundai iMax people mover. Excellent condition, as advertised. Clean and odour free, spacious, powerful and easy to drive. Car is android phone friendly. GO Rentals have a great phone app, and has an easy process. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff on the phone, had to call to check the height of the van as had to enter car parks that have height limits. I recommend paying extra and getting insurance for peace of mind.

An awesome experience with Go rentals. Customer service rep at Christchurch airport very friendly and explained the whole process in detail. She did not try to up sell. Our rental car was Honda Civic which had great kilometers per liter. When we returned to car at Auckland airport, no hassle, return was done in less than a minute. Shuttle driver was friendly and took five minutes to get to international terminal. I highly recommend go rental if you need to rent a car in New Zealand. Forgot to mention one of the key benefits. If you rent a car from South Island then go rentals give you a free voucher to board the inter island ferry, which is also an easy process. Thank you go rental for great service.

Go rentals is very user friendly and helpful hire car service. The car you choose is the car you receive. The team is very friendly and explain everything to you. They're a little bit more expensive but for peace of mind and knowing by choosing one of the two add on insurance options, that I don't have to have a credit card was the key for me. The shuttle service is very handy and the option to pay in advance for fuel is neat too. The have a good range of fleet options and the check in was speedy, they even do a walk around the car with you which I really thought was a nice touch. Highly recommend the team at Go Rentals.

We have had some experience with other car rental companies and they are nowhere close to your service and expertise. You have friendly and proffessional staff. We really appreciate the truthfulness when it comes to insurance and your staff wasn't trying to push something on us that we didn't want, and that is a big difference from our experience with other car rental companies. The only improvement you could make is to clarify on your website that international drivers license need to be translated by a NZ official translator. You could also clarify that you offer this service at a cost. You could also simplify and automate this process so that everything is done when the customers arrives. That would speed up the pick up of the car. Simply the best car rental company out there.

Go Rentals are a significant player in the rental car business in NZ. I had initial concerns when researching rentals from Australia that they may be a backyard business, but that was so far from the truth. We had a near new Corolla auto (12,000Km and we added another 3,000) and was in perfect condition. It was also very well spec'd with Adaptive Cruise control being a huge bonus but everything you would expect with a top range car. It was also economical at 5.3 l/100Km. The price was by far the best, don't let that put you off either, we didn't miss out on anything, fantastic value. Service from the staff was excellent. There was no problems with the return and certainly no attempt to charge for any hidden items. Great company, they will be my first choice in NZ,

Booked a var for 10 ppl from Christchurch airport. Their office is not in the airport but had to call the 0800 number but the process was easy. We had the van ready even though we were little early. No imechanical.issues with thr van however, the Bluetooth connection to the audio system was not working.

Some distance from the airport, but shuttle service is quick. You do need to call them for that though; something to keep in mind if you've just arrived and don't have cell service. Also keep in mind NZ law requires you to have an translated driver's license. If you don't have that (like I did: Dutch license), Go can get that translated for you, but that costs $NZ 50 and takes time. Returning car was super fast.

Go Rentals have been fantastic for us, so helpful and Efficient. I accidentally booked our rental car in a rush (having a toddler and a wedding to organise it was last minute) and managed to book from Auckland rather than Christchurch. We arrived in late at night when all the technical staff had left but the reception staff were so helpful and happily swapped us to the right city and had a car we could use. When we got back to drop our car off we were cutting it fine to get to the airport but they were so helpful and efficient and we made our flight on time! Really friendly and welcoming staff and good prices on the cars. We were stranded outside Christchurch after a terror attack and the staff extended our car hire for a day without any trouble so that we wouldn’t be stuck at the Go Rentals desk. GO collected me from the hotel (Jucy Snooze) withing 5 minutes of calling, then took me through the easy process of getting my car, GPS and the process for an early morning return. Car? This is my first time using this company and it is as good as what my friend said. Best is they have online check in so you don’t need to wait for a long queue and returning car is also quick and easy. Gas station very close by and shuttle bus is always available in 5-10mins. Will definitely introduce to friends and will use them when I come back again.

It's the first time that I've used GO Rentals, as decided to try them based on the deal that I was given when getting a quote. The car was absolutely awesome - we were deciding between the Hyundai Tucson (which we had rented previously) and the Santa Fe and we were glad we paid the extra for the Santa Fe. The Tucson is a nice car, however the Santa Fe had more room, came with sat nav so we didn't need to add that on and had a bit more power for the hilly drive to Milford Sound! The location was a specific spot in NZ that I remember, because it was the only intersection in NZ where the traffic was stopped completely for half an hour because of roadworks. Really dissapoint when drop off car I used hyundai imax KWF 951 and drop off at Sudima Hotel Christchurch at 3.30 am and we waiting around 20 minutes and no one come to shuttle us to the airport Lucky for us...i drop the luggage before drop off the car..if i not...we must bring 7 luggage to the airport For all Go Rental staff is very nice and very friendly...but at Sudima Hotel...i dont know what happened Thank you for your service Go Rental..yes i will using your car another time...
