Every moved I've made, Hireace Hornby Christchurch is awesome, I never looked to another company than Hireace. Everything was smooth from pick up and to drop off. Booking was a breeze and without exception all the staff were friendly and were brilliant to deal with. A fantastic service and definitely I will come back again and yes I do recommend Hireace Hornby Christchurch. To the Staff, thank you guys and keep up the very cool attitude and there will be more coming needing your service.

Quick and easy to get a quote / book online. Friendly, knowledgeable staff at the branch. The truck was in good condition, and was easy to use after a quick tutorial from a staff member. Moving house is never fun, but having a small truck with a tail lift made it that much easier.

Hired a truck to go up to Auckland and move furniture down to Christchurch. Truck performed well and had good capacity. On the way back just before kaikoura one rear tyre blew out luckily someone I knew was following me and called to let me know. Unfortunately no one could come and help plus the spare tyre was useless as it wasnt the correct size. (I didnt want to risk driving on the remaining tyre as it had cracks on the tyre wall) I was towed to kaikoura after a 3 hour wait and waited to the next day to buy a new tyre. I was told I would be paid back. Once back in chch I went to bridgestone to retoque the wheel as told by the tyre shop, unloaded and dropped the truck back on time. I left the invoice for the tyre but had to ring a week later to get follow up the refund which then took a few more days annoyingly. No one cared I had even went to retoque the wheel for safety for the next driver. Overall the truck was good and this is the 2nd time I have rented a truck from here. Just wish they would rememburse more sooner without having to follow up.

Hireace were very easy to deal with. They’re online booking is simply and easy to follow. When we arrived for our pick up, the girl at the front desk was great, very professional and friendly. Our experience was so smooth that we would definitely use them again. 😊👍🏻

All of the staff I dealt with were absolutely amazing, super helpful and friendly. The van was good, exactly as expected but the service was really amazing. I was running late all day & the team have been super kind and flexible! Will definitely use Hireace Hornby again!

recently rented a truck from Hirace, picked it up from Hamilton branch and dropped it off at the Christchurch branch, it was exactly what we needed, when I was at the Christchurch branch, I was greeted by Amrit, who also provide a shuttle service to the airport, overall great experience.

At short notice I had to hire a small truck to help a relative shift. Not only were they able to get something for me but for an extra $5 they included a sack barrow which was priceless. On top of this we were running late returning the truck and the staff member at the Hornby branch waited after hours on a Sunday for us to drop it back. Best service I’ve encountered in a long time from the booking on Friday through to the chap that handled the rental on Sunday. Highly recommend.

Absolutely great service. Advance check in was really efficient and in the pick up day staff member was very helpful and organised. Van was as described and worked really well for a small move. Would definently use again.

What a great set of staff members running this rental agency! Easy to deal with online, easy to book, knew what I was getting, high quality of vehicles, economically priced, most of all very professional obliging and no beating around the bush customer service!

We had a group of 10 and we couldn't fault the vehicle and the service. It all went without a hitch and we were treated as valued customers. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend them any higher. Thank you for helping to make our time in Christchurch most enjoyable.

Worried at first on the truck's performance since we were relocating to Masterton all the way from Christchurch. But in the end the truck was excellent. The staffs were helpful too. Slight inconvenience was I had to drive back to Wellington for the drop off. Tiring and crazy trip, Remutaka winding road was no joke! 5 star experience nonetheless!

Cannot rate these guys high enough!! We moved over the weekend and had booked a truck for the Saturday, they allowed us to pick the truck up Friday evening. When it looked like we wouldn't make it back in time for our 5pm return I called them and they extended the rental not once but twice for us. Any time I was speaking to anyone, nothing was a problem. Service was outstanding, and we will definitely be using them again

Great customer service and very easy process. Easy transfers to and from the airport. Thought we hired an automatic but got a manual on the day, after a quick phone call we were in an automatic within the hour. Have no issues recommending Hireace and would use them again.

Very easy to deal with, accurate and good value quote over the phone without too many questions. On arrival a quick turn around time to pickup the vehicle, clear and honest description of the terms. If I am in Christchurch again and need a vehicle I will happily use them again. Thank you.

Brent had a bunch of people arrive and return at the same time as me but i still got great service and everything was explained very well. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a quality hire experience. Will definitely be hiring from Hireace again.

Glad I found Hireace Christchurch (Hornby) at the time when I really needed to hire a vehicle. i was moving houses and I wanted a van I contacted another company but weren't able to guarantee a vehicle for me. Dealing with Hireace was quick and efficient and saved me the headache, just popped in an pick it up, everything was ready to go. Needed 10 seater van for sports trip at late notice, Hireace came to the party with good pricing and availability (even though in middle of School Tournament Week), staff at 0800 number and on pickup/ receive so personable and efficient, made it a seamless and pleasureable experience. These guys go the extra mile. Dudley stayed open late to let me return the minibus because I could not return it the next day. Bus was clean and well presented. The yard is handy for the south of the city and has plenty of parking nearby.

Great place to hire have dealt with these guys on multiple occasions and every time has been stress free and easy to deal with. Will be back for all my future hire needs.

An awesome experience hiring the moving truck from this branch. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was really handy grabbing the trolley & blankets.

Outstanding service very helpful pick up and drop off at airport. Nothing seemed to faze them six adults and two young one's they even had kiddie seats in pick up vehicle.

Really quick simple process to hire a small truck. Booked 2 weeks in advance which is an advised timeframe. Had no problems at all. 👍

Good quality their business is best and returns back bond when finished our moving furniture.

Affordable and good. But the interior light didnt work, the down button was faulty and the inside of truck was falling apart. And radio doesnt work....
