a.First time going camping using a caravan and we hired one of the 5 Bertha caravans. We took our family of 5- 3 young children one being a 9 week old baby and we had the best holiday. We had some issues with getting the hot water to work in the shower but besides that- was great and so convenient with an infant. Highly recommend. We will be using NZ4U2U again for our next camping adventure😊

As everything you need comes with the caravan (like bedding, cutlery etc) it made for a very relaxing and easy experience. Will definitely use these guys again!
E.I’ve had two great experiences with caravans from NZ4U2U, one in summer and one in winter! Tidy, warm and had everything we needed. Really liked how comfy the beds were and how quickly we got used to setting up and packing down.

N.Just brilliant, and highly highly recommended. The 4 berth caravan we hired for 4 adults was a good size and was equipped with everything we needed - kitchen products, towels, linen etc. The quality of the caravan was fantastic, given the new fleet.
Excellent customer service - Terresa was super helpful in explaining everything we needed to know before we set off (we are first time caravan-ers!) and everything was straight forward once we were on the road. She was on hand a couple of times even during the Christmas / New Year period when we called with questions.
The website doesn't do justice to the roominess and quality of their fleet - I had my question marks over the website (especially why caravans aren't more readily available for hire vs. campervans / motorhomes) - since it doesn't look and feel as "nice" as other websites, but the business is growing and is filling a gap in the market so I guess the website / increased social media presence will be addressed in the future.
Definitely would put NZ4U2U at the top of the list for caravans if you want to hire them in NZ!
C.Fantastic Experience with NZ4U2U Luxury Caravan Hire... Was the perfect family holiday. We were able to travel around and stay in campgrounds but have all the modern benefits... The caravans are of first class new standard which made the experience great. Terresa is a pleasure to deal with and nothing was an issue during pickup or dropoff. The rates are very reasonable. Would definitely hire again!
L.Highly recommended - definitely exceeded my expectations! We were a group of 4 adults and we fit comfortably in one caravan (towed by a Toyota Hilux hired from Thrifty Commercial) for a 11 day roadtrip across South Island.
The caravan was brand new and well equipped with shower, kitchenette, toilet, plenty of towels, blankets, cutlery and pots etc. We thought about getting a campervan but definitely happy with our choice as we could park the caravan in the campsites and then duck off to the shops/restaurants without having to worry about navigating an enormous campervan in a bustling Countdown parking lot.
The caravan itself was a lot easier to manoeuvre than expected - and we covered quite a bit of ground all over the South Island. We were first time caravaners so needed to get used to the whole set up / pack up thing but it was straightforward and did not take very long at all.
Would recommend hiring the bbq and fold out chairs and our only regret was not getting the awning. Theresa was very helpful, patient and responsive throughout - would definitely recommend NZ4U2U to friends!
C.Wow! Talk about luxury! This brand new caravan had anything anyone could want, from wine glasses to throw pillows to nice teacups. The accommodation itself was warm, quiet, comfortable and super cozy. I loved all the window options, with skylights, small and large windows for ventilation day and night, and fly screens on every one! Bliss! The shower, sink, and kitchen facilities were awesome, and I loved the option of the awning and deck chairs. What a brilliant way to travel. To top it off, Terresa and her team were so nice, and professional, and got us all ready to go so we didn't even need their help. Will certainly use again!

R.Very helpful team accommodating a change to pickup-drop off. Kept in touch regularly. Did have some issues with the fridge gas extinguishing most likely due to windy conditions. P.We had an amazing couple of days in one of these caravans down at Lake Ruataniwha during rowing season. Was very comfortable and had the mod cons. The team at NZ4U2U were easy to deal with and help us out when we had any questions.
J.We took.a 4 berth caravan for a tiki tour of the north island. An amazing trip and the caravan made it so comfortable and easy. Moving from one place to the next without needing to pack up each time was a breeze. We freedom camped probably 50% of the time and it's very comfortable. We also unhitched in some places and used the car as a run around to sight see - something you can't do with a camper van. Setting up the water and waste at each stop takes a little time. At the start it took me 40 mins. By the end of the trip - 5 mins!
I'd definitely recommend hiring a caravan for a big tour. I found NZ4U2U very professional, responsive and brilliant to deal with.

We went away for a long weekend and had a blast. The Bailey model that they provide has a really good heater, bed was comfy and the optional awning extra was fabulous with the dogs.

It was great being able to stay off the beaten track a bit and still have all the comforts of a modern home. Also being able to stop and make lunch was a bonus! Loved the new experience of travelling with a caravan. Would definitely recommend for families as an alternative to expensive hotels and a lot more comfortable than a tent.

The van is new and has large space. It has two big beds in separate living areas, so we can sleep very well during the night.

M.First time hiring a caravan. Last minute so only a 2 berth was available. Caravan was clean and modern,and easy to tow. Had difficulty working out how to use the electrics and gas - the instruction manuals were extensive but it would be good to have some basic written or verbal instructions before heading off. Theresa and Pete are very friendly and I'm sure this business will get more popular. Would definately hire again. Mike

N.We rented a luxury caravan for our 5 day holiday in Rangiora January 2019. We were attending a festival where all the patrons would be camping or glamping. Im definitely not the camping type so when I got the idea to hire a caravan I stumbled across NZ4U2U on "Share a Camper". I knew straight away this was the the caravan for us. Luxurious and modern first and foremost - very comfy private bedroom with ensuite shower and seperate spacious toilet and hand basin. Heaps of space in the lounge/ kitchen area with absolutely every home comfort that they could fit in there. We also hired an amazing awning which provided a complete seperate room outside the door. The caravan had heaps of cupboards and storage space and was light filled with the many windows and skylights. It was so lovely to have such luxury when we were literally in the middle of a dusty paddock surrounded by hundreds of other campers. Teresa is just lovely and was fantastic at keeping in touch and responding to queries immediately. Top marks for going above and beyond the call of duty - our friends who had planned on tenting were so jealous of our lovely caravan (and the rental price), so when the wind almost blew them away they cheekily contacted Teresa at 9.30pm and she organised a caravan for them to collect immediately. Just wow! We will definitely be booking another NZ4U2U caravan for our trip to Rangiora next year, and cant recommended them enough!

C.NZ4u2u arranged car and caravan rental perfectly. With great pleasure we (family with 2 young kids) travelled north and south island for 2 months. We choose to hire a caravan instead of campervan to be more flexible and that work out great! Nz4u2u provided a brand new caravan with everything included. Convient pick up/drop off location near Christchurch airport and Terresa was very helpfull. Highly recommended!

I.We hired a 6 berth for the Coast to Coast race, it was a great home away from home and transition station. Cooking for the team was a breeze in the galley and the beds were so comfortable. Easy to tow, we flew up Otira no problem. We will be going back and hiring again.
