Staffs are very friendly, accommodating and they go beyond the customer's expectation. The vehicle was very clean when we picked up our rented vehicle, and there is a key-drop option which made it so much easy for us because we had a very early flight. Highly recommended! Our first time renting with Ezi - what a star performer! Wonderful service both in the form of a confirmation call the night before and at the service desk at the airport. Super friendly, and efficient - our turn around was really swift allowing us to get on with our weekend break. The car was exactly as advertised and very new with sat nav built in. It was spotlessly clean and drove well. We loved our experience and have already booked again with Ezi in Queenstown. The "big" companies would do well to take note - service AND value! You're now our go to for car hire. Please look at Whangarei as a option for a branch - sick of being fleeced up there!

So ..the service was great, very easy to deal with and great prices. Upon arriving from our 36 hour journey (that is a story for another time) the car was ready to go and we had been upgraded...very nice. 20/20 hindsight we may have been better off with the smaller car we had booked...driving on the other side of the road is an interesting challenge when tired, navigating and aligning a car that is significantly larger than you're used to may not have been the decision made all round. Would highly recommend these guys though...throughout great communication.

We'd actually had a car booked with the next booth across but as they were taking so long to deal with the customer in front I idly asked the lady at Ezi how much the same car cost from them, and the price difference was staggering, not only that the car was incredibly well equipped with all the latest electronic specs, and we also got to our car and drove away whilst the other competitors customer was still being served. Amazing price, amazing customer service, amazing car for the money. Live and learn, next time the big hire companies will have to really buck up their ideas for me to bother with them again.

I travel to both the North and South island of NZ several times a year and I am extremely disappointed if I am unable to rent from Ezi Car Rental. They are without doubt the best company to hire a car from. Their cars are modern and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. If I am flying into Dunedin , I arrive between 12 and 1 in the morning and I really appreciate that they do not have a problem meeting me in the middle of the night or early hours of the morning with a smile on their face, Something no other car hire company has every done. Excellent. Came up as cheapest rental at Dunedin Airport but lovely late model car, clean and in good condition. Booked online and very impressed with subsequent emails with information about driving in New Zealand, where to get weather reports etc. Good service on pick up, and good information books in the car summarising road code and planning routes in the South Island. We always use Ezi now and I'd strongly recommend them.

As our flight was delayed we didn't get in until 1 in the morning. The lovely lady was at Ezi Car was awaiting us with Smiles. She warmed the car up and drove it around for us to load our baggage. Having a little boy of 6 who was very tired, I was so amazed at such great service for a us weary travellers. The Vehicle was great with booster seat and everything we expected and return was a breeze. 6 Stars out of 5 from us! Well done Ezi Car. I rented car in July, 19 and it was overall a fantastic experience. The lady at the reception was very helpful and I must say that she is very customer focused. We used Ezi Car Rental for first time and would be my first choice next time.

Excellent service, excellent clean, modern vehicle with good safety features. Unfortunately the odour from cleaning materials was very strong when we first opened the vehicle and we had to drive with the windows open for a while to minimize allergic reaction. The odour persisted for several days. Each morning we had to leave the windows open for a little while before driving away to avoid the problem. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

The lady was really nice and very friendly, but she didn't tell us any of the features or about some special things in the car - things like we didn't know it had cruise control until the morning when we could see the dials! Competitive price, easy pickup & drop-off. Baby seat experience was not good. We requested baby seat. It was installed forward facing for toddler instead of reverse facing for infant. We had to reinstall the baby seat ourselves when the company declined to do it citing their qualified installer was absence. Baby seat safety is a very important matter. The company should ask customer about baby's age and weight to decide which orientation to install the seat.

Excellent service and rental car was very nice! Would have been nice for someone to go over a few of the features on the car that a lot of people may not have used before. EG: the power tailgate. At first it wouldn't open more than about a third of the way. Eventually found a setting on the dashboard system to adjust this so it would then open all the way. The other issue was the window in the tailgate. Didn't realise there was one and someone had pushed the button to open it and when the window is unlatched it still looks closed and then the power tailgate wouldn't open or close at all! Took us a while to figure that one out! :)

Overall very good, but we did not get what we booked Nissan Qashqai but a Toyota RAV4 2WD. I didn't like the handling, the visibility and the worse GPS that I have never used from the RAV4. We understand this was part of the booking terms and conditions that we would get similar model, so I am not making a complaint. :)
