C.After reading many negative reviews I decided to make my own opinion. Price & performance was top benchmark really uncomplicated which I personally prefer these days. However there are few things to improve, special on the vehicle which we had. We had a Toyota cargo van: brakes pulsing and a van with an non operating A/C in the summer time 28 degrees is just Exhausting. Therefore only 4 stars. Thanks to the branch manager and your team.
N.I was short on cash and the competitor I went to first wouldn't make a deal. I went to Rite Price and their standard rate was well under the competitors.
J.Out of 4 truck rentals I called this was the most value for money. Easy online booking and processing will use again when needed.
h.HIGHLY recommend, They are friendly and professional, take care to provide you with a clean rental. Easy fast process and the most affordable in hamilton based on our re-search and enquiry. Have used twice and will most likely will use them again when we need. Thanks to Rakesh and Mark here at Rite price rentals. Note when using diesel trucks you do pay by milage.
F.I am so glad the van I needed was not available at the other rental places because dealing with Rite Price was easy, fast and priced right! Seriously, it took about 5 minutes to pick up and to drop off the van. The van worked flawlessly and was clean and fueled up when I arrived. The staff was friendly and seem to genuinely care that I was happy with both service and product. Kudos to Rite Price Rentals. I highly recommend them.

H.hiring a car with Rite Price was so easy and convenient, it ticked all the boxes for me. out of the blue, I spontaneously needed a car. Rite Price, was within my budget, convenient location, communication was instaneous (even out of hours), pickup and drop off was super easy (again, out of hours).

A.The web page for placing an order is super easy! The company in Hamilton offered the service to pick me up from the bus stop and afterwards to drop me of there two days later! Great service, car was in perfect condition I was fully satisfied!

It pays to be self sufficient with your technology, no charge port (lighter) in the car (Vitz) or aux port to listen to your own music through the radio. Easy fix, be prepared.

Suggestion only would be great if there was a drop off place for after hrs when your office is closed. Travel happens after 5pm really need to drop off maybe 10pm so get charged extra day.

y.Chose a medium size truck to move 15 years worth of a 2 bedroom household. Did 2 trips within Hamilton and was completed in 5 hours total. With five of us loading the truck, many hands make light work!
Had our own trolley jack- thankfully.
Choose a truck with a lift, what a blessing!! And asked for an automatic.
1st time driving a truck ..and have to say it was pretty straight forward. Adjust your side mirrors!!
Just had to get used to how slow it was in first and 2nd gear(you can hear and feel the gear changes!) Good as gold once she hit 3rd and 4th, and caught up with the traffic flow Lol.
I now how have a greater respect for truckies.
Easy, fast to signup, refuel before you return. km's read and then this is taken from your bond.
In all a quick procedure!

P.We initially rented an suv but because of some misprints on the website it was apparently not suitable for us. The manager was nice and kind enough to replace it with a hiace van at no extra charge - awesome customer service! The van however felt like it had a problem with the wheel alignment as it kept pulling to one side. It was a bit of a long drive to Ruapehu, not to mention the slippery roads due to heavy raining that day, so we had some safety concerns during the whole time. The van also had a bit of an unpleasant smell made worse by the damp and wet weather. Maintenance is definitely an area needing much improvement. Reg EGQ757
