I just come back from this 9 days trip while I have rent a bike via Circle NZ close to Christchurch. That was just amazing !! I think I have realised a "little dream" by renting a bike there. The owners Kelvin & Debbie welcomed me really well, give you some tips for the trip, some more case if you need etc... That's a really good way to discover the lovely South Island of NZ ! Hi there, just like to gave a big thanks to Kelvin and Debbie for the great service they provided. Had a little accident on the Rainbow rd 8kms from Hamner springs where I put a hole in the sump of my Gs 1200 losing all the oil ,I Then had to get towed to Hamner . I was going to cut my trip short by heading back to the Coromandel with my bottom lip dropped but my riding buddies convinced to hire a bike. So I found Circle Nz mon the web ,I rang after hours and by chance Kelvin answer my call and the following day I was on one his rentals . Nothing was a problem , Brilliant service. The bike was great and the rest is history, Thanks once again Kelvin and Debbie , Sorry for not filling the gas tank up.

The experience was amazing. Me and my girlfriend rented a Suzuki DL650 for 3 weeks. Clive is a wonderful host, he waited for us at the airport and we stayed at his place for the first night before starting our trip. He also gave us helpful insights about destinations and helped to schedule the ride. The bike was almost brand new and in perfect conditions. If I will be renting a bike again, I will definitely rent with CircleNZ!

Thanks Kelvin and Debbie Bike was terrific and well maintained, no problems at all. Service was friendly and very helpful. Pickup and drop off much appreciated. Best scenery and riding roads. Banks peninsula or Akaroa is a must. Takes at least 2 days. Milford sound, Queenstown, Invercargill motorbikes museums, the glaciers- Fox and Franz Josef. Are also a must if you have time. I rented a VStrom 650 for an 8-day, 1500-mile tour of the South Island, and can't believe my luck at finding such a great company and owner. Run by local motorcycle enthusiast Clive Chapman and his family, CircleNZ is easily the best rental agency I have ever dealt with. Me and my friends rented 4 bikes from Clive in November 18 and couldn't be more grateful for his help along the way. On top of keeping his bikes in excellent condition and having a wealth of knowledge on NZ routes and locations to share, which is what you would expect from a professional, Clive serves his clients with passion and would get out of his way to ensure us a safe and pleasant journey. Halfway through our South island trip we have a friend that wished to join us, which took us all by surprise. A couple of emails later and Clive already has a bike ready for him. Not only did Clive picked my friend up at the airport, but he also rode with him for hours in the rain to ensure he meets us safely in Tekapo. This says a lot about what a true gentleman he is! Great experience with CircleNZ! We rented three bikes for 10 days and had a fantastic time! All of the bikes were in mint condition and well serviced. They were perfectly equipped with top of the range soft and hard panniers, wind screens and almost new tyres for a hassle-free ride. I totally had a blast on the Suzuki VStrom during the whole trip. My brother and I recently returned from what would have to be one of the best rides I’ve done in more than 40 years of riding motorcycles. Clive, at CircleNZ, offered us the best deal, by far, on the bikes we wanted. The booking process was hassle-free and Clive was always quick to respond to any email queries I had. When he picked us up from the airport and drove us to Ashburton free of charge, l felt like I was catching up with an old mate. Our bikes, a BMW F800GS and a DL650 V-Strom, were prepared immaculately and performed faultlessly during the 7-day, 2,400km trip. He even lent us camping gear, first aid kit and a map-book free of charge for the trip. Clive’s lovely wife provided tea and snacks whilst we packed and unpacked our gear. On our return, Clive drove us all the way to our accommodation in Christchurch and even carried our bags up to the room. A true gentleman! I’ve rented motorcycles at places all over the world, including Melbourne, LA, Boston, El Salvador, Christchurch and northern Italy. Our experience with CircleNZ was, hands downs, the best! New Zealand's South Island is a great place to tour by motorcycle and you won't go wrong by renting one from CircleNZ. We hired Hazel, an immaculate Honda ST1300, for our 10 day two-up trip around the island, and she performed splendidly throughout. Clive couldn't have been more helpful, fitting the bike with a top box for us to accommodate all of our luggage, transporting us from/to Christchurch, plying us with refreshments, as well as imparting plenty of useful knowledge about places to visit and other helpful tips. Rented a bike for four Days and drove around Arthur's Pass to the West Coast and back over Wanaka. Service in and out was friendly and helpful, with lots of advice from Clive Chapman. The bike (BMW G650GS) was delivered tuned up and ready to roll, and it purred like a kitten for 1300 km worth of mountains and beautiful landscapes. The Gear did its Job, I mean I came to ride not to win fashion show, but for the future this is probably the only thing that can be improved. --Towards the later half of 2017, my son had the bright idea of renting a motorbike and riding round the South Island during the short break he was getting from work over Christmas. He also thought his old man could perhaps join him. So, of course, that is exactly what we have just done. Such a great experience was shared as we toured on and off the beaten track. Due, in a very large part, to the seamless, easy communication with Clive in getting the bikes organised and the paperwork handled. Then the delight of finding two immaculately turned out machines kitted out with panniers, waterproof bags, maps etc. waiting for us on our arrival. The team at Circle NZ really knows the highways and byways of their country and are more than delighted to add their experience and love of the sport in guidance while you map out your own custom made adventure in a country just designed for touring. Actually more suited to bikes than cars and vans, we reckon. Again, I cannot thank Clive personally and the team at Circle NZ enough for their help in providing one of the best holidays ever. Clive answered several emails with a wealth of local motorcycle knowledge, gave us tips on places to stay and routes to take, personally picked us up from the airport (on Christmas Day!), and provided truly “over the top” hospitality. The two DL650 motorcycles were provided fully outfitted for sport-touring and we were sent on our way with the request to bring them back dirty and used and to have as much fun as possible. Your money will not be going to a corporation, it is supporting a local motorcycle nut trying to help people enjoy the country. The whole experience could not have been more pleasant!

Hi! I just wanted to share the experience I had with Circle NZ last November: it was awesome! I'm really glad I chose to rent one of Clive's bikes. It was an almost new machine, perfect to cruise around the nice NZ roads and it was super reliable even under tough conditions. What an amazing selection of near to new bikes, I couldn't take my eyes off them all. Clive is a great guy who has all his customers at heart. My mate and I hired two V-Strom motorbikes from CircleNZ during the easter break. Clive the owner and his family are very accommodating, we owe them a great of credit for making our trip so enjoyable. Clive himself is an avid motorcycle enthusiast and was able to provide valuable insights and tips that greatly enhanced our trip. Over the 1200km we rode from Christchurch to Queenstown and back, the bikes performed flawlessly through heavy rain, high winds and the occasional fuel slick! This was not surprising however as Clive keeps his motorbikes in immaculate condition. I've travelled through NZ five times now, but this was my first trip on motorbike. It was an awe-inspiring way to see the country and I cant wait to get back and cover more ground. CircleNZ is by far the most professional and affordable motorbike hire service in the Christchurch area, I look forward to being a return customer.

Just back from my brief south island trip. It is becoming increasingly rare but every now and then you encounter a business that is excellent in customer service, professionalism and kiwi hospitality. I live in Auckland and have travelled New Zealand a few times by motorcycle. Being self employed I am time poor but wanted to tick off a couple of destinations that I hadn't been to before.. so it made sense to fly to Christchurch and rent a bike instead of riding all the way down from Auckland along routes that I have experienced several times. The communication with Kelvin and Debbie at CircleNZ was great throughout the entire process. I had planned to get a bus from Christchurch CBD out to Their HQ near Rangiora but they insisted on picking me up in central chch. I was met by Debbie and she drove me out to their place. We had a good chat along the way and it turns out the company owners are both keen motorcyclists themselves (Kelvin is attempting the tranz alpine scooter safari on may 16th on an Aprilia 50, sponsorship proceeds to the cancer society). It kind of says a bit about the ethos at CircleNZ - nice grounded people. The bike I picked up was immaculately presented and a joy to ride. My chosen bike was the ST1300 but I know the range is expanding quickly as the business develops and there are some great bikes in the lineup. A week (and several grins) later I returned the bike, was offered hot coffee while we finished up the admin and again was given a lift to the airport even though I could have taken the bus - that was very much appreciated. CircleNZ - you have a great formula for a successful business and I am happy to recommend your service, it was a pleasure to deal with you. I wish you all the best with your business expansion.

Clive provided the means for fulfilling the #1 item on my bucket list. Even before we arrive in NZ and actually meet him, it was like i had a friend helping me arrange an adventure. Advice, suggestions, tips for cheaper tickets on the ferry and where to look for accomodation. Much, much more than a place to rent a motorcycle and go. Naturally, i kind of sense that when i was researching oprions. He was the only owners of a business that was in the forums talking like an adventure biker giving free advice to everyone. Just the guy you want to give you tips for rides and trails in the land of heavenly riding. The motorcycles were top shape and he spend lots of time and tools helping us mount all the electronic gadgets we carry. Again the help and support you don't get from the usual rental place where it is sign here, look around, off you go. 5000km and 14 days later i couldn't separate myself from the bike nor the land. New Zealand is the motorcycle heaven on earth and CircleNZ the pearl gates.
