P.Best to book with this company directly so that you can deal with a local person as regards insurance cover. Also, the G.A.S. petrol station near the airport for final refuelling, (even though 24 /7) is not manned 24/7. The credit card system is on the wall of the building rather than attached to the actual pump. It is confusing at first, and easily missed.
F.So, I have not yet picked up the car, but I am already super impressed after calling them to ask a few questions regarding late pick-up. The reservation service was TOP NOTCH! Fernando answered within seconds and upon detecting my accent he offered to speak in Spanish with me. From then on it was all an absolute breeeeeze. We were done in no time at all, and he even called the Dunedin office to re-arrange the late pick up for me (something I was supposed to do on my own). This type of service, and the amazing difference in prices, makes GO Rentals my new favourite car rental company. I will try to update the rest of the experience after picking up, using, and returning the car...

R.We had the fortune of getting a Go relocation deal from Dunedin to Auckland during this school holiday. We've been scouring the internet for good deals but most companies only offer either from Christchurch or Queenstown. We were stoked that Go had one from Dunedin with only $19 a day for a selected duration during a two/three week period. In addition, the relatively new Toyota Rav4 SUV was perfect and comfortably sized for our small family. Granted, companies like Jucy have one dollar a day deal but for a limited time, mostly 6 days. This means, we had to be on the road for an extended amount of time. Not to mention that the vehicles would be quite well used.
The check-in was a breeze and you can do everything beforehand. We were quite impressed that most of the process are digitized, hence minimizing some carbon footprints. Another plus point is with the vehicle, driving for 8 days was relatively easy as the technology and the design put little impact to your body. We had rented some small vehicles in the past and they left us feeling sore afterwards. Do check their deals as they offer a great value overall.
