Great Staff. Really helpful, i was running a little late and the staff stayed an extra 10 mins for me and gave me a ride to the airport. Keep up the great work guys....always a pleasure renting from you guys!

Excellent pick up but no information at Nelson airport to call them. They need a phone or a sign to let them you know you have arrived and need to be collected.

Over all great service the car was good the car seats were acceptable and the ladies in the office were great and understanding about our boys fighting after early morning flight. We did lots of exploring and even fit my mum in the back of the car with the car seats to go to riwaka resurgence, kaiteriteri, Ngarua caves and also to go and see glow worms one night, if you know this area is a bit of a drive and quite windy and steep so the little car did a good job. Quick and easy to book and pick up and drop off. The transfer to the airport was really handy.

Great service in person, the car was ready and in great working order, shuttle ran to the airport within minutes of my turning up. Considering this was almost the cheapest option, I don't think I can fault this branch of Apex at all.

Had a bit of a rocky start as you have to call them up to organise the transfer once you arrive (but had to call 3 times before getting through). After about 10-15 mins, the transfer arrived, both the driver and the other staff members were all very friendly and courteous so it was all fine in the end. The actual car itself is really nice for the cheapest one they had available, although insurance did cost us an arm and a leg.

Pickup from the airport and dropoff back was great. Minimal wait for picking up the car. Corolla was fine but the air conditioning was dusty (filter change time?) so we couldn't use it. But I do recommend the corolla sedans as a rental car. Car seat wasn't in car and we had to place it in ourself. Belts were all twisted and in the wrong places preventing proper operation. I fixed it in the evening. This seems to be the case for most car seats we have rented whether from apex, hertz or any other car company.

Great service, polite staff very simple click and collect process and took around 5 minutes to sign contract and driveway after hours dropoff service at no extra cost was an added bonus that I appreciate cheers Apex 7day rental without insurance premium options totalled $465 for Toyota Corolla Hatch

I had a company booking for a vehicle. The booking was made on the company's credit card from head office for a 7 day booking. On arrival I was advised I needed to have the original card or couldn't take the vehicle. While I accept it was there terms and conditions of rental. For a corporate booking very difficult for everyone concerned. To the point not worth making company bookings with Apex at all. Fine for a private booking. The other very disappointing position was the drop off. The lady we were dealing with said the vehicle needed to be back at 5.30pm at the latest. We were flying out at 8pm. After reading there information while they sorted the booking. There online information stated that later drop offs could easily be arranged. But easy was not an option. The lady we were dealing with clearly had a bee in her bonnet and that was never going to be an option. We dropped the car off at 5.25pm they dropped us off at the airport. Then we had to take a taxi to go back into town. To rub it in she was sitting at her desk at 7.30 when we drove back past in the taxi. She might have well just given us the bird on the way past. On a positive note The car was good and it served me well. Was economic and made my trip pleasant. The service from Apex was not helpful and really disappointing. After getting the manager involved I was able to keep the booking but this didn't need to have happened with better training.

Reasonable price, comfy/smooth/quiet car (Toyota small SUV), easy pick-up from Nelson City on a public holiday, easy call to change drop off location, seamless drop off and shuttle to the terminal, super friendly staff (didn't catch her name) at the Airport office.

Easy booking and was best price. Super friendly service when I arrived. Only down side was overpowering smell of the cleaning products they used, never had car with it so strong. Really set off passengers asma and I had to drive with Windows open as got headache from it. 25% discount with entertainment book is well worth it.

Have never felt it was necessary to give feedback for anything previously. Family trip to Nelson was cancelled due to fog and then postponed, again due to fog, on the second attempt. Communication was great. Arrived a day late. Was only ever charged for the time I actually had the vehicle. Staff were very friendly. Decent car for a great price. Will definitely be using Apex again when next in Nelson. Cannot fault at all. 5 stars+.

Highly recommend these guys. Staff were very positive, happy and full of energy and did everything in their power to create the ultimate customer experience. Made my trip down here in Nelson very easy. Well done team.

Cheap and easy! I arrived late after they were closed to drop off the car and had a flight to catch. Diana kindly drove me to the airport with my bags so I didn’t miss my flight and was the nicest! Great people and simple cars!

Picked up a Corolla hatchback (decent, not as nice as the newest models at Avis) to find it filled with ants crawling around various parts of the front passenger area (dozen+). They said there were no other cars available as the groomers had left for the day so was stuck with the car. The staff lady was nice enough to clean out the leftover gum/candy in the center console (not sure why that wasn't cleaned in the first place) - the wrapper was covered with ants and seemed to be the source of the problem. Unfortunately it seems to have been there a while, there are still ants popping out from different parts of the car. Hoping Apex will help with an exchange. Update: +1 star as Apex exchanged our car the next day so satisfied with how they addressed the situation.

Friendly staff and very affordable, easy to get a shuttle to and from the airport, definitely recommend as a cheaper car hire option

After several times of service, Apex Nelson has proven to me that it is more than a budget rental, it also has consistently good service, helpful and friendly advice when we did have accident. We also get upgraded in our latest trip.
