Booked with this company through Discover Cars and it was so easy! They are a short drive from the airport but are very responsive and have a shuttle service - we didn’t have to wait any longer than 10mins. Both pick up and drop off for the rental was easy and hassle free. The car itself was in good and clean condition, not the one we booked but it was a good substitute and fuel efficient - thank god. It was basic but that’s all we needed and it was fair for the price. Staff were friendly and accomodating - we called to say we would pick up our rental car an hour or two after the booked time and they said it wasn’t a problem and picked us up promptly when we were ready. Keep in mind, they do charge an after hours fee of $50 if you pick up or drop off outside of their office hours ($100 if both are outside office hours). They also put a $1000 block on your credit card at the time of pick up, which they refund you on return - things I knew before I booked as I did my research. Highly recommend if you’re after a good, cheap and basic rental car!

Our experience with EZU was fine. They picked us up promptly from the airport. You get what you pay for and the car was basic but was all we needed. I would happily use them again.

Pru was super helpful organising our car even though the third party booking system messed it up. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend.

Great newer car at the best price available. Car was as expected and ready for pick up through the late night pickup (1:00 am) program at no extra charge. The customer service hotline is helpful if needed. The drop off went very smooth as someone went out of their way to check us out immediately and then wave down the driver to the van so that we could get straight to the airport. The driver of the bus was even nice. We will be looking for EZU-Rentals again in the future.

Good service and a fantastic price. Pick up and drop off from Queenstown airport was easy. The car was clean and tidy. And the EZU staff also arranged for a charger we accidentally left in the shuttle bus to be posted on to us. Thanks again!

Very happy with their service. They picked us up from Queenstown Airport and took us to pick up the car , and then returned us back to the airport after returning car 5 days later. No problem with bond, the $1000 was refunded straight away and the credit showed on our card 2 days later. Definitely use again and recommend. Very helpful and polite.

We had a great experience with the team at EZU Rentals in Christchurch. We needed to do an out of hour’s pickup and they sorted everything out for us. The car was absolutely awesome - Overall, the team at Christchurch were really awesome and we will definitely be renting with them again!

Wish I had known to book directly through the company itself. We went through an agency after googling car rental Queenstown. $80 for the weekend $20 pre paid via credit card and $60 to pay on arrival insurance included. I failed to read the fine print that stated they would require $1000 deposit. (So did the person next to me) Thankfully ezu had another option of paying for daily car insurance with the excess fee of $500 if the car was in an accident. $45 for Friday to Sunday. So paid insurance twice. Was also unaware that we would have to catch a shuttle to the company from the airport and vice versa thankfully ezu picked up my call when I was trying to locate them on arrival. The experience would've been much more pleasant if I had of gone directly through them as the staff were great and understanding - that was just a awful feeling to the start of our trip glad that now I know. The website was economy bookings and was very misleading. Such a shame for the companies that deal with them. Car expected vs car given. (Was a great cheap run about car)

Reasonably priced for nice tidy car enjoyed the experience with gr8 comfort. Queenstown staff Sam promptly contacted and returned my lost house keys in car. Excellent service... worth recommending.

We were happy with the rental car that we had for 6 days. Friendly service and they allowed us to use the car an extra 2 hours without charge. Their office needs to be made bigger, a wee bit small if there are a couple of customers, but otherwise happy.

I was wary booking a car through EZU due to the one bad google review on the business but I had the opposite experience. Yes there was a $2000 bond but the staff were friendly and didn't seem dodgy at all. Car was in good condition. Main thing was price. Such a good deal - I was very happy with dealing with EZU and would definitely use them again without hesitation.

Car was in really rough shape, had to return fully cleaned which is really odd. Booked via third party.

Contrary to some negative feedback we had a great experience with Ezu Queenstown. From start to finish we could not fault them. We were a family of 5 from Auckland and hired a people mover for 11 days. The car was clean and tidy, smooth with low km's. The service was friendly and efficient. We would certainly use them again.😀

I was happy with the service and car was in good condition, clean and full of petrol. Yes you pay a bond, but that is standard with any car rental these days. You can call them at the airport and they come and pick you up and take you to there car parking lot in Franskton. Remember to clean and fill up your car as you incur fees. As for price, very affordable.

Excellent service and pre-arrival booking system. The in-shop booking pod was really good, even though ours froze which is expected of technology from time to time. Received an EZU Play discount card for adventures and accommodation which we used significantly!

The team at EZU went above and beyond in terms of service. Even when we booked the wrong dates they were able to find us a vehicle and charged us the same rate. Each member of the EZU team we dealt with was positive and eager to help. Would highly recommend this company to all our friends and family.

Great service. Hired for 8 days a suv. It pays to use the car wash next door before dropping off as it made it easy to get my refund on our deposit. Will use them again.

We rented the 2018 Toyota Corolla from EZU Car Rentals for a short stay in Queenstown. Very reasonable rates for a modern vehicle compared to the other rentals that reside in the airport itself.

Everything went smoothly - great shuttle service and overall customer service. Just loosing one star as the vehicle we were given was not was requested but in the end not too fussed!
