N.Really good experience with Go Rentals Queenstown. The location was easy - right by the airport, and no dramas or delays with picking up the Outlander. Customer service was super friendly, vehicle was new and very clean. We did have an issue with a chip in the windscreen morphing into a crack over the course of the vacation, but Go stayed in contact throughout the trip to make sure we were safe to keep going. Another thing I liked was that the no excess insurance option was affordable, other rental companies really try and squeeze every dollar out of you for peace of mind on your holiday. I'll use Go Rentals next time I'm in QT for sure.

K.One of the best car rental experiences I have ever had. Very well organized with seamless check in. Staff helpful and friendly. Car was excellent. It was a couple years old but was clean and in excellent mechanical shape.
I had to return the vehicle early because of a change in plans and they provided a partial refund without me asking.

s.Good car. Pick up after hours was easy. The air freshener used was so overpowering that after 30 mins driving I had a sore throat and irritated nasal passages. Delivery back to airport in Queenstown was easy.

A.Fast collection of car once online check Is complete. The windscreen wiper water was non existent which is why i gave 4 stars but otherwise excellent customer service. Shuttle driver at christchurch airport was speedy and cheerful and we were able to get to our terminal in record time( was very afraid that we may be late as their premises is slightly further from the airport terminal) Will definitely recommend their services🙂

Room for improvement:
1. After driving to our first location, I noticed that one of the headlight wasn't working - staff should have checked this properly
2. I called up GoRentals to report the fault and I was advised to go to the workshop, the lady on the phone gave me the wrong address - should have known the correct address of the workshop
3. I ended up going to the wrong address and had to call GoRentals again and then I got the correct address!! With young kids in the car it was very frustrating to go through this esp in a terrible weather!

S.Great service, good value for that time of year, and the car drove superbly. We'd left it late to book this holiday, and were shocked to discover just about every vehicle at Queentown airport was booked over new year, and the few the big international car hire companies had left were being offered for extortionate amounts.
Go offered a good range of vehicles at a good price, and the reviews seemed promising so we signed up and were not disappointed.
As promised, they arrive within minutes of you calling them, for the 5 minute drive to their depot (if we didn't have luggage we could have probably walked this in about the same time - it's very close).
We'd filled in the forms online and we were in our car and on our way within minutes - it was a seamless process.
They have a great app for your to record any damage to the car on pick up, and the drop off was also seamless - within 5 minutes the car was handed over and we were in the van back to the airport.
The car had a bit of damage, which was fine, as we'd opted for a cheaper, older model, and it drove superby. The pricing model here lets you take a discount for an older car, or pay a little more for newer cars.
Our one complaint is that the back seat was very badly stained with something, and had we had passengers, we would not have wanted them to use it.
No other complaints and we will definitely hire from Go again.
n.Good position, service and car. Wasn’t happy to find my CDW which was said to be included in my price only took excess down to $2500. Then they try and sell you an extra $25 pd to reduce it. Naughty but lots of rental companies do it.
I got 1cover for $40 which covered this for the entire trip and they pay up to $6k excess.

They have a surprisingly handy app to help you keep track of your booking, get location specific instructions for pick up and drop off, etc
The Queenstown airport Go hire office is not open before 8 and I had an early flight so I had to use the lock box to drop the keys off and walk 500 m to the terminal. Easy but wouldn't want to do it with luggage so dropped the family and bags at departure first then returned the car.
K.Used them 3 times, booked online. I've been looking around for the best deals and GO Rental was the best overall. Book in advance about 2 weeks ahead of time seems to get you the best rate. Play around with the dates. No complaints! Went smooth every time, in and out. I got the full insurance, paid a little extra because I didn't want to deal with any hassle when I'm on vacation. The car was clean every time and with low kilometers but that didn't really matter to me since the car was pretty much new. The GO Play card is awesome too! Take advantage of those discounts! The staff was friendly and easygoing.

We booked 4 cars from Queenstown airport, booking was done with ease over phone and got better deal for bulk booking. Walkable distance from airport but we took airport shuttle due to number of luggage n kids. Only trouble with the whole process was, had to try 3 times to get through call for airport pickup but was not more than 5 min.
We took zero excess option for peace of mind as price difference was marginal. That made pickup and drop off process extremely quick.
Staff were super helpful and friendly, all 4 cars were near brand new, less than 20k driven.. overall good deal for better price.

S.I've been lucky enough to travel a fair bit both locally and internally (work and leisure) and as part of that had to pleasure of hiring/driving rental vehicles.
This is the first time I've ever used Go Rentals and I must admit it was initially purely based on the price for the specific vehicle I was after (Toyota Highlander). They worked out significantly cheaper (25%) than the usual suspects which I've used before.
The online booking platform is immensely easy to use along with just being simple. The options for vehicles and insurance types is perfectly laid out and there are genuinely no hidden costs. The follow up emails/instructions are certainly handy.
The staff were just superb. From the pick up, warm friendly smile and a good banter to the staff at the vehicle depot. The whole process of check in and having the keys handed to us took around 5 mins. I'd recommend getting the aptly named peace of mind insurance (not that we needed it) and also using the check in process online to prefill in your details.
I'd highly recommend using Go Rentals Queenstown and would definitely used them again for any future visits.
I.Before our rental, GO was an unknown company to us. Their website was well designed, the booking process was easy, and they had good reviews, so we gave them a try. I usually do not rent from off-airport-site companies, so I wondered a little how it would be. As it turns out, the whole rental process with GO was extremely easy and flawless. Their office and shuttle staff were prompt, professional, and courteous. The whole experience was one of the best rental experiences I have ever had. I would not hesitate to use them again.

C.This is the second time I have used Go Rental for a work trip. Great technology so easy to book, digital counters to check in. Great staff in Queenstown and very handy to the airport there. The car was brilliant. It was a Toyota CHR crossover and was loaded with lots of safety features including blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, auto high beams (very handy). It was very new and very clean (sorry it didn’t get returned as clean as it was). Very economical to fill up. The car was in great condition & when we had to return it early due to Covid 19, Go Rentals gave us a $100 refund unlike Jetstar which charged us extra to return & are yet to provide any refund! I will always use Go Rentals on future trips to NZ while the disgraceful Jetstar is PROFITING from PANDEMIC!

S.Overall experience was quite good apart from the GPS device which malfunctioned most of the time. Wouldn't advice anybody to rent the GPS device as its expensive but doesn't work smoothly. Rather take a local SIM with data and use Waze or Google Maps to navigate.
Also if possible hire a 4x4 or at least a SUV as since i was driving a Sedan which was quite good but in case you want to drive on dirt roads it can be an issue.
R.The car I hired online was exactly the car I received from the company. It was a very clean low mileage manual with only 23K. The staff were very helpful and curious juxtaposed with the price being a great value. The location is also very easy in that it's a five minute walk from the airport. Overall I had a very pleasant experience and would certainly recommend. Cheers!

E.We had a very positive experience with GO rentals. Significantly cheaper than the big name alternatives, and although the car we picked was a bit older, it worked fine. Service at the Queenstown depot was very friendly and we were soon on our way. Just factor in the time at both ends for the extra shuttle bus, which only takes a few minutes anyway.

J.Thank you Alice for upgrading my car to Santa Fe. We spent a week driving around the south island. And I would say Santa Fe is your best option for the family. Very wide space which can easily to take 4-6 people, and you still get heaps luggage space. I'm very impressive to the auto driving assistance function. It can auto adjust your steering to make sure you driving in the right track. That reduces a lot of my pressure of driving and allows me to get more enjoyable for the holiday.

Within 15 minutes of calling from the roadside I had received a immaculate Rav 4 at a reasonable price and was still in time to be waiting for my guests when they landed.

T.Everything was super easy - from booking, to pick up to drop off. Didn't have any hassles at all and the car was also in great condition. Staff were also really friendly and helpful and the price was good. Only issue for those who may have early / late flights from Queenstown is that the office is only open from 8am - 5pm so if you drop off the car outside of these hours, you will need to walk / arrange other transport to get to the terminal as the office is not located at the terminal.

Shuttles rides to pickup your car can be a nightmare at some airports - Sydney comes to mind. The "shuttle ride" from the Queenstown terminal is about 2 mins - less than you would walk in some airports.
k.I booked a Toyota RAV4 for 5 days with GO rentals. They have been super friendly and polite from the start. They offer a free shuttle from and to the airport. The car condition was too good and we had a full tank on pick up. They offer flexible options for fuel and insurance. GO rentals is the best place to rent at Queenstown.

Car Handover - Needs lil improvement. Car specifications & features vary from country to country, so it would be really beneficial for the hirers if the features around the steering wheel are explained quickly. In our case, the staff at Auckland was not aware of certain features so it was left to us to figure out as we drove.
The Car - The car assigned to us in Auckland had more than 1L kms on the odometer but still in good drivable condition, however the car assigned to us in Queenstown was under powered & needed quick acceleration in gear 1 as well while reversing.
We opted for the 'peace of mind' insurance & is highly recommended, like in our case..we slightly dented the rear bumper of the car while reversing & all that we have to do was..quickly filling in a form..that is it.

S.Rented a 4x4 car from Go Rentals New Zealand for 12 day from 5th January 2017. I booked online from Sydney a couple of months earlier and got the car we wanted at good price. I checked other companies at the same time of year and same car and they were much more expensive than Go Rentals. We picked the car up at Christchurch Airport and dropped it back at Queestown Airport. No problem, everything in order. From our very first contact until the end everything was fantastic. Excellent customer service, clear paper work and instructions on how and exactly where to pick up and drop off. Terminal transfers at Airports, no problem. Pleasant, helpful staff, no problems. Car ran perfectly. Would highly recommend Go Rentals.

However the vehicle collection process was a little bit messy - there was no line at all when the shuttle bus carries heaps of people into the shop. Some Chinese just rushed into the seat in front of the counter and the staff, not being able to tell apart who came first, served them right away. I wouldn't say it's the problem of the staff, rather the layout of the shop could probably be altered so that there would be a line for customers when they come in.

The car was great - clean and tidy and all worked perfectly (except the boot needed to be slammed quite hard to stay closed).
The service was very friendly and they provide pickup and drop off at the airport terminal which is few hundred metres away.
My only real issue, and it could potentially have been a major one, is that the person who installed the baby seat in the car, had obviously not been trained in how to do it properly. The seatbelt wasn't properly locked, so the seat could move around significantly. Had I not identified the problem and fixed it, and if we had had a car crash, our child would not have been protected properly.

We caught shuttle from QTN airport to pick up depot - less than 5 mins drive, collected car and the drop off and return was as seamless too! A.If you are concerned about their location being off-airport, don't be. It really is just a 5 minute walk to the departure counters. That's way less than being on-airport at most airports! Contacting them upon arrival is easy too even if you don't have a mobile phone...their are pay phones in the airport that are free to use for toll-free numbers. Our car was very nice, although a Hyundai iX35 doesn't have as much baggage space as you would think for an SUV. I declined their insurance and was prepared for the NZD$2,500 authorization on my credit card. We ended up getting a big dent in a side panel from a careless person in a parking lot that let the wind crash their door into our car. Upon return, they charged the $2,500 to our card, but quickly started the claim process (maybe 10 minutes process) which didn't delay me for our flight. 4 days later, got the claim results - NZD$886, which seems reasonable to me, having had body work on my own cars over the years. Now I just need to see if my credit card rental benefits will reimburse me. I was expecting the ordeal to last months, not less than a week! I liked this company and would use them again.

J.Thanks so much for a hassle free car rental. We got the tiny Hyundai Getz which was on promotion but it proved to be ideal for our 1500km road trip around South Island, NZ. Friendly staff, with shuttle bus to and from Airport in Queenstown. We booked it all before we got there and zero issues upon arrival. Wouldn't hesitated to go with these guys again.
More about the car: There was an audio system with AUX input to hook up our phones to, we got the additional snow chains but never needed it (highly recommend it in winter just in case), it's a 4 speed plus overdrive which means after 90km/h you'll be going well over 2000rpm meaning more stops at the bowser. Don't drive fast on corners cause there's black ice, regardless of what car you have.

1. 要租車不用特地去找promotion code, 直接私訊粉絲團即可, 有的通常都會直接給優惠製quotation單給你, 基本上你想得到的租車公司我都問過了, 推薦Omega, JUCY, Go-R回覆都很阿莎力, Go-R其實比較貴, 但絕對物超所值且線上聊天後員工給我很棒的價格, 只比其他公司每天貴不到10紐幣!
2. 保險坦白講不貴, 不管Omega or Go-R我都是買0自付, 所以租車時會跟你說既然保險XXX所以你就開走吧! 還車也會說既然保險XXX所以你直接去等shuttle去機場吧! 省了不少時間跟路程中的擔心!
3. 既然滿油還車, 請記得一定要早一點還車前去加油, 我前段犯了個錯, 就是只剩下10分鐘就要還車, 還很沾沾自喜說租車公司旁就有個加油站, 真讚! 結果大家都在那邊加油, 那裡有兩種人來加油, 一種就是租車公司員工(穿制服), 另外一種就是我們這種要還車的, 這兩種人都有一個同樣特性 --> 慢(我自己是很熟悉很快), 前者是紐西蘭人, 就是給你慢慢來, 後者是很不熟悉的遊客, 還有人問我怎麼用, 我後面還好幾部車同時也跑來關心跟學習, 搞到最後我遲了10分鐘還車, 還好Omega跟我說never mind, 所以建議大家早點還車或離遠一點去加油!
接下來分享這兩家租車公司的差異, 以我問卷調查的comments為例
1. 租車時要查驗證件, 影印證件, 還有兩個重點 --> 填部分資料與刷卡, 這點Go-R很棒, 前一周就e-mail跟我講可以線上check-in, 大致上就是填國際駕照號碼, 與線上刷卡, 我是前一天才填, 但對比Omega到現場才弄東弄西好非常多, 尤其Omega, 因為現場才弄東弄西, 我前面兩組東歐客人搞了好久, 原本我0930拿車的, 等拿到車都已經1010了, 中間開車超趕路的!
2. Go-R所有表單都電子化, 在Pad上簽名, 馬上就e-mail PDF到你的信箱, 要看的時候隨時拿起來打開看即可, 但以Omega的check sheet為例, 我有附圖在這貼文內, 鬼畫符的我也看不懂, 急著拿車走人後來也不曉得這張紙跑哪裡去, 回到台灣現在要拍照才找到!
3. Go-R機場接送完全語音按鍵輸入, 訂單編號與按確定接送(好像是3), 接著就可以直接到pick-up location等車, 這些資訊訂車時都有說明與文件, 只是到現場時打電話可以不用跟人對話, 免得講不清楚, 流程很smooth, 這點我要抱怨一下Omega, 網站上說city內的取車點有shuttle可以環繞Auckland大旅館接人去city depot daily, 結果我那天是星期六, 打電話去預約才跟我說city shuttle是weekday, 對此我還建議他們要修改網站, 免得誤導消費者, 到現在還是沒改!
4. 員工都很nice, 辦公室內有模擬機可以讓不熟悉的你先試開車, 當然別擔心, 這不是考照, 不會因為遊戲0分就不租你, 只是頗有野心的想法, 跟其他租車公司不同, 辦公室環境也是粉紅一片, 很舒服!
5. 車子真的很新, 我這台才開不到30000公里, 同樣Altis Hatchback, Omega的至少多了Go-R五歲, 是上一代的, 而且只有定速, Go-R的還有整套TSS的功能, 包含車道偏移輔助, 自動跟車巡航, 跟我台灣的車類似, 在紐西蘭開車避免跨越車道線跟超速是很方便的!
6. Go-R企業識別標誌很粉紅很顯眼但不突兀, 加上流程與服務, 我老婆問了一句Go-R該不會創辦人是女老闆吧? 因為真的很細心, 貼心, 用心, 放心!! 坦白講開在路上心裡感覺都很不錯!
