We just needed a car for a day and came across Bargain cars on Google search. We also called into Avis cars to get a quote, but Bargain cars was a third of the price.

W.This is a great place for a great deal. The staff are quick and friendly and being in the city centre, access is easy. I’ve had large vans which are automatic and easy to drive and the hybrid cars with excellent economy on the gas.

N.I rent cars a LOT and Bargain Rental Cars has become my go-to company. The prices are always great, the staff is kind and patient and the cars are very good. For this rental we had a Nissan Tiida hatchback that we absolutely adored. Tons of cargo space for a compact, incredibly comfortable to drive, and handled very well. Midway through our rental we discovered we'd have to extend by several days. We expected it to be a hassle, but we sent them an email and they just did it for us at the same rate. We were delighted by the quality and service and we'll rent from here again.
D.Had a great experience with this company. Staff were busy with customers but I was acknowledged with an apology for the wait while they hustled to serve me. Great hand off with the car and even though the location is small to maneuver staff made the effort to park the car in a position that made it super easy to leave the premises. Car was immaculate and then returning the vehicle was very quick and easy.

Booked a car on their website, they confirmed that day by email, and I checked-in at my chosen time. The best things about BRC are the friendly staff, unbeatable prices and awesome central location. Most rental car companies operate at the airport; but BRC are at a much more convenient location for people who are not flying. Will be visiting again and again!

It was short notice and as we phoned around, we discovered that at Bargain Rentals amazingly there was a real person on the end of the phone to process our request! But best of all- the cost was much cheaper than anybody’s. Pick up and drop off all easy and fast - and the staff really nice. Our little car was the perfect vehicle for around town and beyond- we’re definitely coming back!

The staff member I spoke to was helpful and friendly and I booked and paid straight away. Picking up the car was as planned and very quick and easy, and returning the car 5 days later was also just as easy, and we were also given a ride back to the airport with a very friendly staff member. S.Needed a people mover for a family holiday and was delivered an 8 seater, although an older car we were all able to be seated and managed with some creative packing to get all the bags including the baby gear. The Car seat was provided and installed well by the Team. The Car performed without issue and we all travelled safely. A.Trying to find a (last minute) large car in Wellington for the Xmas / NY break was a nightmare, as all the rental agents in Wellington over Xmas/NY had sold out. The wife was going to kill me. The local BRC guys on the phone helped me out with a Van up front with a swap in the middle to a larger car, at the same cost. When it came to swap time, they had a cancellation and called me to say "keep the one you've got if you want" at no extra cost. Great customer service, and great communications. The van was clean, reliable, safe and comfortable.The guys in Wellington were awesome with pickup/drop off at airport also. Will call them first next year when i fly across the ditch for Xmas, no need to pay extra for the other big 4 rental agencies.
