Easy pick up and drop off. Very friendly staff, easy to find the car, didn't pay that much to fill up the tank on return, even though we stayed in Tawa and kept driving from the city and back. Hire and Insurance was very affordable at such late notice! Definitely recommend this rental company :)

There were only 3 rental car companies open in the later hours of the evening. And Ezi Rentals is one of them. I arrived 10pm from Auckland, picked up a car and drove off within minutes. Ended up with a nice SUV. Drop off was even more simple, a staff member awaited my arrival, as soon as I parked up, I handed her the keys and I was on my merry way. Quick and ezi. Highly recommend.

Booked a car for a weekend away. Staff at counter were friendly and helpful - I arrived early- and the car was clean and tide with low mileage. Having a counter in the terminal was a bonus- no waiting on a shuttle - as was the undercover parking. Have already booked again for next month

Amazing! I rented a vehicle for 3 weeks from Wellington Airport and it was 100% as described - a 2020 or 2021 Outlander. The cost of the vehicle was hundreds of pounds cheaper than the international rental companies. Thank you Ezi!

This was my first time using a rental car from an airport and the experience was really good, not to mention good value compared to other companies (we all search rates, right)... the car was really modern and in great condition, easy to drive, and there weren't any hidden hooks to the contract, (which I was scared of; have heard horror stories from friends being charged a whole extra day if 20 mins late on return etc).

Best price I found on a rental car at Wellington airport …. Plus the car I got was brand new highly recommend this company a1++++

This has been my most pleasant rental experience to date. I traditionally use Avis or Thrifty but their prices ballooned to ridiculous levels with the poor weather disrupting flights in and out of Wellington. By comparison, EZI was advertising a 'normal' rate and I was most impressed to discover that they really do live by their name. I was happily greeted on arrival, presented with a very clean and tidy vehicle (which smelt beautiful). The vehicle was a dream to drive and very economical. Online booking was easy. I'm not sure this was supposed to happen, but I was very pleased that Ezi did not place an annoying hold on my funds (I don't use Credit Cards so normally have $500 or so frozen on my Debit Card). If it was deliberate and not just an oversight, I'd like to see more rental companies do this. I've already paid for full insurance, so they shouldn't be requiring a bond at all. Overall very pleasant. 10/10.

This company lives up to its name. Everything made Ezi for clients like us who are second timers in car renting. The staff at the counter was friendly making it easy for us to ask questions and all. I recommend Ezi Car Rentals because the experience is so easy and quick. The depot in Wellington Airport is easy to find and close by. The pick-up procedure is simple and quick, and the car easy to find and drive away. The drop-off procedure is even easier, just park the car nearby, drop off the key and go. The most simple system I have experienced. Their price was reasonable, and the vehicle was much better than I was expecting. Overall - very happy.

Had a vehicle rented from this location on my trip to New Zealand in January. Just like the previous one that I had at their Auckland Airport location, they were fantastic! Got a RAV4 AWD, with heated seats and sunroof from this location. The only problem that I had with this location was that I was told that I've returned the vehicle without full fuel even though I have. My mistake for not taking a picture of the gas indicator when the vehicle was returned but I guess the matter has been taken care of their team. Overall, great experience from this company and upon doing my research, they still beat the major brands for both price and service. I'll definitely be their customer again.

Awesome experience from the time of picking up of the vehicle to the time of dropping it off. We needed the vehicle for an extra two days and that was not a problem also. Les who was person at front of counter when we arrived was wonderful and very helpful the process of it all was fast and easy. We most definitely be using this company every time we travel home. Great rental experience. Pre-booking support was thorough and easy to access via internet. Pick-up was fast and efficient with excellent advice on vehicle (used new hybrid car which I had never driven before) so thank you to Len for tips. Drop off was easy except for the Wellington wind! We were half hour late due to traffic snarl-ups but rang in and staff were fine and flexible with no additional charge when we arrived 30 minutes later. Will definitely use again.

Fast, efficient, and extremely friendly service. Attentive and understanding staff. After an attempt to land, our flight was diverted to Auckland pending an improvement in wind conditions (typical Welly). We had no idea how long we would be in transit or what time we would arrive, but we would definitely not make our pick up time. Before I could reach out, an Ezi staff member called ME to see firstly if we were ok, and secondly to make sure we knew he'd hold the booking so we'd have the car either later that night or the following morning. Legend. Great car, easy pick up and even easier drop off. Very much appreciated the in airport location. With Wellington’s unpredictable weather, the 2min walk to and from the car was a blessing. Good service. I chosed one of their newer cars from the hire fleet and that’s exactly what I got..... new, clean and surprisingly fuel efficient. Easy process to book online, a little bit of time having to wait at the counter to be served but once served it only took 5mins to get the keys and be on my way. I would definitely recommend to anyone and I will use them again.

The service was good and the rental office was conveniently located. My only quibble was around how the easy fuel fill up service is communicated. It is a good idea, and the cheaper rate is appreciated, however the way the service was explained to me was confusing. I thought that we could return the car with any amount of fuel and it would be filled up and we would be charged ONLY for the fuel we used. However after I'd paid for the refuelling service I discovered that I'd been charged $95 to refuel the car, regardless of whether I used $95 of fuel or not. I'd suggest the way this services is explained needs to be clarified so clients are aware of what they are buying.

Thoroughly recommend! Their fully comp insurance was great value at $22 per day (at time of writing this. )and the rental charge was competitive too given that they're on-site at Wellington Airport so no shuttle buses to worry about. Friendly staff and excellent service! Thanks guys!

I have used Ezi Car Rental twice now and both times I have had a great experience. What I like about the cars are they are very new and comfortable. It is easy to book online and very friendly staff at Wellington Airport, who made it very easy with pick up and drop off. Would highly recommend and I would certainly use again.

Was really nice, quick and easy to rent a car from these guys. Far easier than the last car company that we used, so will definitely use Ezi Car Rental again. We even decided to keep the car for another day and called to ask if it was ok, which it was. Unfortunately, someone must have missed the memo for that, and we got a phone call, which I missed, and a message was left enquiring as to why the car hadn't been returned and we were to get in contact immediately....bit inconvenient that we had to call back again as we were in a bad telephone reception area. Apart from that, was an excellent car rental company and the car was great.

No hidden costs, hassle free pick up, hassle free drop off, absolutely wonderful and excellent customer service. We picked our car up on the morning of the 9th of November @8.15am. It's nice to just get off your plane, present your drivers license, credit card, sign a few papers and be on your way!! I can't remember the man's name who served us but I think he is a great asset to your company. Great customer service means alot to customers. Very friendly staff - it was extremely easy to pick up & drop off the car at the airport. The car itself was practically new and in very good condition. The rental rates were much more competitive than the more well known companies I wouldn’t hesitate to use Ezi car rental again.

I decided to switch to New Zealand owned EZI RENTAL to provide rental vehicles for my last film project and I’m really glad I did. Firstly their competitive film rate sheet made them a very attractive option. Then as we progressed I was really impressed with their on-to-it staff and efficient systems. We were able to get the vehicles we needed from within their large fleet and found their branches to be conveniently located in all New Zealand’s largest cities EZI RENTAL gave us a dedicated customer service representative who really understood the fast, high pressured nature of our work and was very responsive to our needs. Last minute end of day vehicle requests for the next morning were jumped on immediately and sorted for us. Pick up and return date/ time changes were no problem and went smoothly without issue. Billing was prompt, easy to follow and contained all the references we needed to match at our end. EZI RENTAL really delivered the icing on the cake at the end of the job when we were dealing with some vehicle damages. With other rental companies I am used to this being an extremely long process without clear communication that drags on for months. The dedicated claims team at EZI RENTAL worked with me to quickly sort this out within a couple of weeks after completion of the job. All in all it was a fantastic experience and I will be using them again.

When we arrived in Wellington, our bags (including our two car seats) sadly did not. Les at the counter at Wellington Airport generously lent us two car seats until ours arrived. A kind gesture for which we were truly grateful. Terrific customer service. Very happy with our overall Ezi Car Rental experience. The only down side we encountered was that we pre-paid a full tank of petrol for when we returned the car but the Toyota Carolla was far too economic and after 10 days we returned it just under half full! Will definitely use Ezi Car Rentals for our next NZ adventure.

Picked up the car in Auckland which was a little difficult because you need to shuttle over to the cars. Thankfully I got help from Avis and one of the information desks for a phone number to ring the shuttle. Otherwise it was friendly service and no problems dropping off in Wellington.

Vehicle was clean and of good quality at a cheaper price than other companies. Easy to pick up and drop off. Great customer service even though the retailer was tired. Will definitely use this service again.

We arrived at the airport in Wellington and compared the offers from all of the rental companies. Ezi rental provided excellent customer service and the most competitive deal for the weekend, with full zero excess insurance. The car was brand new and we experienced no issues at all.

Picked up Toyota RAV4 from Auckland Airport and dropped off at Wellington, March 2019. Car was excellent as was the service from staff at both locations. Pick-up and drop-off couldn't have been quicker or easier. No nasty surprises, which you can't say for some car rental companies.

The service I received at the Wellington Airport was excellent. I really appreciated being able to have access to a GPS - that was a big help because so much has changed since I lived in Wellington. The Toyota Yaris hatch was great to drive and SO economical with petrol that, despite my best efforts, I was only able to use just under a half tank even though I prepaid for the generous discounted petrol offer of a full tank. I highly recommend EZI and would definitely book with them again.

If your ideal rental is booked out online the responsive Ezi team will find you a car and get back to you in s jiffy if you contact them through any electronic means, even the 'contact us' link on their site. Their charges are reasonable compared to the larger international brands. By half. I'll keep using Ezi.

Booking, pick up and drop off were as their name suggests ‘Ezi’. The vehicle was great, newish model, clean and drove well. Will use Ezi Car Rental again without a doubt.

Hands down the most easiest company i have ever hired through. Super easy booking system. Pick up and drop off was a breeze and they even matched the lower booking price they had on offer after i made the initial booking. Highly recommend the staff at wellington ariport are awesome.

I highly recommend this company. Staff are very helpful both in person and on the phone, and the online process is very simple. You get exactly what it says. A warning but not connected to Ezi. Watch out for and ignore the Australian based Insurance pop up that follows your online booking. Insure with Ezi or your regular insurance outfit.

I booked online just as I landed and I immediately received an email confirmation (lucky!). When I arrived to pick up the car, the staff member was really helpful (and cheerful!), processed the paperwork efficiently and I was on my way! Great relational skills :-)

Great quick efficient service with very clean and tidy car.

The car wasn’t very clean, windows dirty & mats had mud on them along with mud on the outside of the car. The pick up was handled with a lovely gentleman that was willing to help. Always rent with EZY rentals however the retailers need to ensure cars are delivered in a clean state

The Ezi car rental service was fantastic although, the man at the counter sort of convinced us to take a navman as we didn't know our way around Wellington, however he gave us a new car with GPS maps. When we dropped the car back off and I explained to the salesman about the Navman, he said he would refund my money for the Navman.

After a four hour delay to leaving Auckland Airport on a Friday evening. We finally arrived in Wellington around 10:45 pm. The Ezi Car Rental Booth was still manned. So, we were able to collect our Toyota Yaris even at that very late hour. Thank you Ezi Car!

Good tidy car. Collision avoidance fault light kept coming on sometimes. The pre purchased last tank of gas we were told would save us money didn't work out any cheaper...

Nice ride. New Corolla hatch was a dream, check in and out went peachy. Only fly in ointment was on 2 occasions the warning light for the anti crash sensor going off for a couple of minutes...well, ok, that and having to drop it off at the airport in Welly on a car choked Friday, catching an expensive cab back. Still, positive experience!

EZI Rental staff were very nice and helpful. The car we hired was very economical on fuel which was good as fuel was very expensive. I highly recommend them as a car rental agency and will be renting from them again.

Simple and easy to use. Easy pick up. The Rav was in excellent condition. Drove really well. I clocked 3656 klm in 17 days. Drop off was a bit frustrating but a phone call to the local branch sorted that out. Great experience.

After another rental company let me down, ezi came to the rescue with excellent rates (nearly half what the big names wanted) and service. well done.

the car was brand new (13Km) on the clock but after 4 days of public road use, a buzzing rattling noise developed, please complain to the manufacturer; the car was returned to Wellington Airport around 15:00, and the milage done was below 700Km

Like the name says. It was Ezi. Midnight flight, counter in the terminal was open. Car very close to pick up in the car park. Drop off was easy. No problems.
