Awesome car and price for a trip from Wellington to Auckland. Was able to drop off after hours which meant I only had to pay for one day's rental. Be aware when ordering online the price shows NZ however is charged according to the current FX rate.

First rented a car from Sixt in December 2020 with a overall poor experience and wanted to say how much things have improved. This week I had a very positive experience and even had the advantage of bringing my car back later and putting the keys in an a/hrs dropbox. There was prompt pick up, I was on the road quickly, offered an upgrade and nothing was too much trouble. I have no hesitation in recommending this company

Needing a rental car in Wellington on short notice I was apprehensive of using Sixt because some of the other reviews were not so good, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything went smoothly, they even upgraded me for free, and the staff were excellent. Will definitely use them again now that Jucy is no more.
