I bring my car here for a six monthly thourough valeting. They have a range of options from $30 to $200. Today I went for the $55 option as the car was covered in dust after a trip to Whanganui and the car had been valeted a couple of times already recently by Toyota. They have tables, coffee and WiFi. When I arrived at 9:05 they were already busy but the bakery only took 45 minutes which is about perfect for me to do some work. The staff are helpful and friendly despite the cold and wet weather.

Needed to get some pet hair removal, mats vacuumed and a mat spot clean after a spillage. Given the amount of hair, they did an exceptional job compared to other places and after the mat shampoo they went above and beyond to spray some fragrance to help with the smell. Despite them saying it’ll take an 1hr-1.5hrs they finished around 45mins which was awesome I had a great first experience and look forward to getting a thorough clean

Brilliant place for pedantic car owners. Expect a wait which is normal as they do an excellent thorough job. Mine got done by Boston Ridge lol friendly as staff. Worth every dollar. Regular user once a month.

They do a great job of taking care of your car. I went in with a stain on the backseat caused by smooshed strawberries - all gone and good as new! The cafe, on the other hand, could be improved on. They had a very limited menu when I was there; pies and slices. Delicious though! The music was pretty loud, so don't go in expecting to be able to catch up on phone calls.

Good place for a quick wash and reasonably priced. However, you need to double check when they finish. Last time they missed few spots and had to ask them to redo them.

Had a full valet today and the job was great - but what I am really impressed about is that after we picked the car up my son found a piece of my jewellery in the back console. Really impressed with the honesty as this was obviously found under the seat and placed in view by one of the valets. Really great work and thanks so much 👍🏻

Great service and a pleasant environment to relax or work in whilst your car is being well groomed outside. Marked down 1 star because it always takes longer than they say. My last visit was an hour longer than expected. The car looks sensational though so I can't fault the work they do.

They don’t sell ice coffee. Their hot coffee is ok too. I just find it convenient to catch up with friends that are washing their car too. Otherwise very average. My excellent experience at Carfe ====================== It was with some initial hesitation that I went to get my car cleaned last Sunday. I had read a few negative reviews, but decided I would at least give them a fair go. I had a stain from a spilled flat white on my passenger seat, and the interior of the car hadn’t been cleaned in some time. I pulled in about 11am. The place was already humming. I parked and waited for about 5 minutes, as I could see a car in front of me being cleaned by all the staff. I used the time to clean out some of the larger scraps of rubbish and gather my personal belongings out of the car. The gentleman who served me was professional and polite. The seat shampoo was $25, as was the interior clean, which included the boot, dash and interior. He advised me it would take about 30 minutes. I waited in the café. While I didn’t get any food, there looked to be a nice selection of cabinet food, as well as quick and cheerful takeaways available like toasted sandwiches and coffee. My car was cleaned 5 minutes faster than expected and I was very happy with the finish. There was no visible dust on the dashboard, and even the floor mats were spotless. They even kindly provided me with a disposable cover which fitted over the entire passenger seat to protect passengers from any residual dampness from the shampoo. Whatever shampoo they used did not leave a scent in the vehicle. I considered the service and outcome good value for money and look forward to visiting again.

Always great service from the team @ Carfe ,Friendly staff always deliver prompt service along with a high standard of attention to detail to. Our cars always look amazing after a groom or even a simple wash and wax. Location is handy and the yummy food while waiting for your car is an added bonus. I would recommend a membership plan perhaps. Great job guys 👍

Car exterior was fine but the interior clean I would describe as patchy at best, with very obvious patches of dashboard, doors and centre console not cleaned (dust don't lie). Also I don't recommend being talked into the additional $10 for wheel trim cleaning - they cleaned from one direction only, leaving hugely noticeable dirt when you look at the hubcaps from the other direction. Lastly, they left the ignition on and flattened my battery. Surprisingly the coffee and cake were good, with pleasant service in the cafe (hence being generous and giving them three stars for what was not a great cleaning experience).

Have an aged Volvo S80 that I've had coming up 5 years. Usually take it to be cleaned at the dealership but thought I would try this out and I am really happy with the out come. The difference in price alone is outstanding, usually costs me $250 per detail. Spent $65.00 in total. Cheers Boyz 🤙🏾

A lot of bad reviews, but I’m a car guy and thought they did a good job, and pretty reasonable prices. I got the silver package. Only complaint is the inside of the windscreen was left a bit streaky, otherwise they did a good job.

Still trying to decide if they are really good or not. Sent a couple of cars there already within a week, one turned out really nice n clean but the other one was below average. Will try them again in the next week or so and see how. Friendly staff and a free coffee with every car groom will be nice.... just a thought 😉

Carfe in Greenlane is cafe grooming and detailing the of a full valet service and while you wait you can enjoy the coffee and food in the cafe. The staff a friendly and do a professional job. The finished job makes the vehicle look brand new. They are reasonably priced.

I think my car needs another 2 or 3 more going over to be top knotch. Intially I didn't know what to do as no one was available to answer any thing. Eventually someone turned up and because it was my first time there I really didn't know what I wanted. Still don't really know what I parted $90.00 for, It has been cleaned in and out though. I can still see the cat sliding marks on my back window even though the window must have been cleaned. It was nice sitting reading magazines and having a small coffee.

05/09/18 - Rocked up at 4.20pm noticed I was the last car for the day. worried that they would do a rush job given it was around closing time, however I was extremely happy with their service, because their workmanship shows in and out of my car. I only visit every couple of months and usually pay around $100, but on this day they charged me $60, although I received the overall clean, my main concern was cleaning the carpet and mats (thanks to the kids and weather). Again, very happy with the service, the carpets look almost new Lol. Thank you.

Stopped in here to get my car cleaned for the long weekend, the wait was fine and it's decent coffee. I have a station wagon, cost me $75 for inside and out - wasn't the best job I've seen. Auckland is no joke and you can't get away with sub par work. It wasn't bad, but, I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone.

Have used Mathew Ridges "carfe" many times, easy, convenient, serving great food and beverages. Prices are reasonable. Car cleaning is OK, I say ok, as a couple of times, I'm sure they used the same oily rag to polish my windows, leaving grease swirls, otherwise great job on wheels and general cleaning of the car. Is it worth the money? Yes.

When my car needs cleaning I always went here. Its a fast and a really good clean. But be warned my portable phone answering machine went missing after going here for a clean. Unfortunately I never noticed until the next day and cleaning staff denied stealing it. As it was the only place it could have been taken I never went back. You have been warned!!!

My wife and I have been using Carfē pretty much since it opened, and we absolutely love it! Glancing over some of these negative reviews has come nothing but a surprise to me, as my experience with Carfē has been nothing but good, so I thought I would leave my thoughts. There’s a reason they’ve been around for nearly 20 years now, they’re no joke. It’s a great concept the car wash cafe and they’ve hit it right on the head. Staff are always so lovely and polite, and very helpful. The cafe has got a beautiful array of food and beverages with a really cool vibe, not to mention the free Wifi! The car valet itself is the pinnacle of all there services. With a range of valets to suit all budgets. They’re fast, precise and extremely professional. Love your guys work, keep it up! A+++

Rocked into Carfe today and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The cafe looks great. I had an extremely nice muffin and latte served by a lovely waitress. Reading some of these nasty reviews is disheartening, and in my opinion inaccurate. I have been using Carfe on a monthly basis for around 10 years now and they are no doubt the best in the business. So so. The acceptable valet service was tarnished by the leaden-footed treatment that the car gets. During the half hour that I was sat there I saw two close calls where the staff were driving far too fast around the tight working area. I won't be back. I simply don't trust them with my car.

As a daily commuter in Auckland I pride myself of my car. I would spend most Sunday's cleaning my car for the week ahead, but this came at a price, as I was spending hundreds of dollars a month on cleaning products and missing out on the little time I have off work. My nextdoor neighbor approached me one day i was cleaning my car, and mentioned I needed to check out carfē in Greenlane. I was very reluctant at first as I like to clean my own car but as the weeks went on and my car was never really getting any cleaner I decided to head down. I was greeted by a very friendly team that helped me match my needs and desires, I ended up settling with the Black service! For those that try to clean your car, you really dont know a clean car until you have been down and seen the guys at carfe. I was completly blown away by the extent to which they had gone to, cleaning right down to the corners of the cupholders and places you could never clean with normal equipment. On top of the near perfect exterior and interior clean, you have the option to either sit in the cafe(which has a great range of snacks and kitchen selection) and have a coffee or leave your car with the staff to pick up later in the day. I have been coming back every fortnight since my first encounter and have only been more and more pleased with the service I receive! Would recommend in a heartbeat to anyone A+++++

Don’t normally leave reviews but dropped my old Subaru into Carfé earlier today and was pleasently surprised by the level of care and attention to detail taken by staff. Would recommend to anyone wanting a professional clean, inside and out.

The staff here do an excellent job - but they need to take a bit more care with peoples vehicles, bad for me I didn't realise it till some time later that 2 of the sun visors on my doors had been cracked. I went back a 2nd time and the guy actually broke one right off. While it was an accident and he was so sorry - I will keep these broken bits and now when I go back I remind them of what they did and they will pay if it happens again. The fact is they clean my car better than I ever will. Haven't tried the cafe.

Second time I have had to return for a job to be satisfactorily completed. First was for mag wheels, which I personally checked today. However lower panels on each side and across rear of car were not done very well, or even at all. Operator did not appreciate being shown extent of my dissatisfaction, saying 'human error'. Ha!

Went to Carfe today to get a full detail. Part way through one of the team came up to me and explained that the Auto-Lock function in my car (which I didn't realise I had on) had engaged and locked them out with my keys in the car. Ruh-roh I had no spare key on me, the only spare was at home - in Takanini. No problem, the staff member (Ross) offered me the use of his personal car to zip home and get my spare key. As it turned out my car (somehow) unlocked itself - after I had left of course. Ross let me know, I turned around - no harm done. Now THAT's customer service. Thanks very much Ross and the Carfe team. Not only a great job done on the car but another good yarn to share.

Get what you pay for. Its quick, cheap and sufficiently good value for money. They need to use some of their bulk cleaning products on the toilets though - the whole cafe (especially the toilets) is filthy and grotty.

They couldn't do a deep clean of my upholstery, even though it's listed on their website. Really not their fault if down on staff due to Covid. Would however have been helpful if they had said that on their website and saved me a trip. Still got a wash, vacuum and internal clean. Suggest allowing 90minutes in the weekend, as still took a while.
