K. H.A very lovely ,sheltered and sunny spot with good amenities and the lady in reception was very friendly and so helpful.
The only down side was the lack of frequency of the cleaning of the toilets and resupply of the toilet paper while we were there.
We arrived Friday afternoon and nothing was done ,including kitchen cleaning,until the evening of Saturday.Toilet paper had run out in most of the mens toilets and two had been badly soiled and required immediate cleaning .Given the Covid climate I would have expected continued cleanliness of kitchen and ablutions to be top priority.
Hopefully only a one off oversight ,but it did dull an otherwise lovely stay in a lovely camping ground
p.Lovely quiet spot, spacious with plenty of trees, close to a stream, ideal for paddling. Nice kitchen and bathroom facilities too.

K. H.Excellent campground. Great relaxed atmosphere over all of Labour weekend. Stunning location awesome scenic layout caters to every type of camper , dog friendly and all were well looked after. A bit of a walk from some of the outer sites to the facilities blocks. Beautiful golf course with public walking access right next door.

W. B.What a beautiful peaceful camp ground, very well set out indeed. Shower & toilet blocks are well maintained with work in progress on the men's block refurb. At the mo the ladies block is unisex as refurb already completed. Laundry washing and drying plus well appointed kitchen completes the set. A. W.What immaculately kept grounds at this holiday park that go on and on. Right on the Selwyn river and adjourned by a recreational reserve (cricket being played as we arrived ;)) Sadly we could only stay one night and didn't use the facilities but noted the ladies block was being renovated. It's so quiet and peaceful with only the sounds of the river and birdsong in our secluded wee spot. Will make a point to return for some R and R. Thank you for this special site
T. L.Really nice grounds and the owners are absolutely lovely. The bathrooms are super clean and the music in the bathrooms are a nice touch. It's a shame the council made them remove the playground otherwise we may have stayed longer but it won't stop us from going back.

s. h.Suited our needs. Site tidy although dated in areas. Number of permanently sited caravans/motorhomes, which gives it a unique feeling. Located in a tree circled area which does keep it cool. Note price on their website was not what we were charged (more). Told it was last years prices and not updated.

G. R.We enjoy the peace and quiet at Glentunnel Holiday Park. It is great to see youngsters climbing trees swimming in the Selwyn River riding bikes and having fun. The adjacent Hororata Golf Course is fun and challenginb wiyh visitors always welcome. We have been caravanning here on and off over 20 years and will continue for sme time.😎😀😎
