The Big Smoke BBQ guys catered for our wedding last month. Absolutely fantastic!! I enjoyed their food years ago at another wedding and was over the moon to be able to share it with our family and friends at our wedding.

The Big Smoke BBQ catered our dinner reception for our wedding at the Athenree Homestead in Waihi Beach. The food from the Gourmet BBQ menu was incredible, and everyone raved about it. The team were amazing from the very beginning and on the day. The BBQ itself was such a cool feature to have at the wedding! Would definitely recommend.

Carl and his crew helped make our wedding day as perfect as possible. From the moment we contacted him, we were put at ease with his calm and “can do” attitude. He made it possible for us to get into Meatstock and try their food, was happy to substitute their usual sides for sides of our choice and even went out of his way to provide us with a family style served dinner as opposed to their normal buffet style. As an American living in New Zealand, I was very keen to bring an authentic American dinner experience to our guests. Carl and his team far exceeded our expectations of the quality of the meal. It’s now been two months since our wedding and I am still having guests commenting on “how amazing” our food was! Cheers to Carl and his team for a wonderful service experience and unreal food!

Fantastic. Got them in for a work Xmas party, 100 people. Very professional service - they brought the buffet tables, tablecloths, cutlery and plates. They served up, and cleaned up, including taking away all the plates and crockery when we'd finished eating. Food was delicious, fresh, well presented, and plentiful. Friendly staff too. I highly recommend.
