Aspiring Catering were the most amazing caterers for our big day. Our friends and family have not stopped going on about how amazing the food was, the best wedding food they have ever had! We interviewed a few caterers when making our choice and the thing that stood out for us about AC was that they took time to learn about us as a couple. When we met with Lucy (Head Chef), her passion was inspiring, she had us so excited for what we would experience at the wedding. The AC team are a well oiled machine! They made our day run so smoothly and nothing was an issue. Effective communication, professionalism, passion and kindess were constantly shown. We cannot recommend Aspiring Catering enough and thank them for making our day so special. xx

We were so lucky to have Aspiring Catering at our intimate wedding in January. Everyone commented on how incredible the food was. We were absolutely blown away by it all! The potatoes were harvested from the garden the morning of the wedding - you can't get any fresher than that! Lucy and her team took the time to get to know what we wanted. On the day they were so kind and we enjoyed getting to know them. The team were very professional - present if we needed them but never in the way. We would 1000% recommend you all for any event. We were so glad to have Aspiring Catering to provide the food, plates and glasses for our function, organized at short notice. Despite that Lucy and her team detailed what we wanted and importantly, delivered what we wanted. The food was superb and was commented on by all of our guests. The glazed ham was exceptional together with large grazing spread we sampled before the main meal itself. This high quality food added to the enjoyment of the whole evening. We would not hesitate to engage Aspiring Catering again for any function we wanted to have

Aspiring Catering catered our daughter's wedding at NZ High Country, 29 February 2020, seemingly a lifetime ago. The canapes were absolutely delicious, the meal itself was amazing and all our guests have raved about the quality of the food and the attention to detail. Lucy and her team were very professional, their service immaculate and they were attentive, friendly and well organised. Everything went like clockwork. For anyone planning a wedding in QT/Wanaka, you absolutely must work with Aspiring. These guys are the absolute best. we planned our wedding from Australia having not met the team or tasted the food.... and guests were RAVING about how delicious everything was. We had people come up to us after the wedding and say "the food was amazing", "I could have kept eating that lamb", "that salmon melted in my mouth" and the "service and staff were excellent - they remembered my drink order". We also had amazing reviews from our guests with children, who were so appreciative with the care that was taken for their kids, meaning that the parents could kick back and enjoy. The team were never short of advice, their attention to detail and what we wanted the day to be about was outstanding and if we were to do it all over again, Aspiring would be the team we would do it with. I cannot say how deeply grateful we were for the amazing work and vibe they bought to our day. Aspiring, you guys are masters of your craft - the food, booze and service is what people remember at weddings and you have created lasting, beautiful memories for us and our family and friends. It has taken me just over 3months to find the words to say how wonderful the team at Aspiring Catering were for our wedding at Rippon Hall. They were highly professional, kind and fun throughout our journey from the planning to the actual day. From a brides perspective, you made my job so easy. Every question or change was not a bother. My husband and I were married in February 2018 and the bit we were most excited about was the food. Food is such an integral part of our lives that finding the right caterer was paramount to the success of our wedding; luckily, from the moment we first met Lucy we knew that Aspiring Catering were the caterers for us. Lucy is enthusiastic, organised, calm and simply fantastic, and her pride in her business extends throughout her team and in every bite. We can honestly say our expectations were well-exceeded and many of our guests commented on how delicious everything was, how fantastic the service, and how beautiful everything looked. At the end of the night I found myself going round taking bites of everything left (the cheese rolls!), even though I was full, because it was all just so delicious! We had the best day ever and we can't thank the entire Aspiring Catering team enough - thank you all for everything! Highly recommend for your next event - they are the best that Wanaka has to offer.

We are so grateful to Lucy, Sarah, Megan, and the entire Aspiring Catering team for helping to make our wedding absolutely perfect! We did a destination wedding at Rippon in February 2019, and AC was integral in planning the details of our day. The entire team was prompt, professional, and the nicest people imaginable. By the end of the weekend, they all felt like family. The food was perfect (our guests continue to say it's the best wedding food they've ever had), and the service was incredible. Lucy and her team are so well connected with other local vendors that it made planning our wedding from California so much easier than expected. We cannot recommend Aspiring Catering enough!

Lucy, Sarah, Megan and the entire team at Aspiring Catering - THANK YOU.🙏🏼🙏🏼 🗣 Long post ahead but worth the read if you are in the beginning stages of planning your wedding. Words cannot describe just how incredible this team really are. From the moment I first spoke with Lucy, I knew instantly they were the caterers we would be using for our wedding. However, they are not just caterers... Lucy and her team coordinated our entire day for us. We knew exactly what time we would arrive, what time the grazing table would come out and bar service would start, what time we would depart for photos, when we needed to be back, when the entrees, mains and desserts would be served, when speeches would be, when to get the band to start and what time our day would come to an end. Communication from the initial call was absolutely outstanding. We live out of town so we communicated via zoom and email. After our first zoom call we were sent supplier details for cakes, decorations, florists, videographers and photographers on google drive. We were sent a seating plan representing the layout at our chosen venue taking a huge stress away of "how many seats do we need at each table and how will the tables work" - we just had to fill in the names! I dont even know where to start on the food. Even over a month after our wedding, people are still talking about just how amazing the food was. The grazing station got devoured (it had to be the most amazing grazing table I've seen in my life), breads and dips for entrees were simple but perfect, the mains were raved about all night and the desserts we absolutely beautiful. The thing that impressed me most about this team was the "extras" that they had thought about. 🌟 Snack boxes for the kids after the ceremony to keep them entertained while we mingled and got photos - worked a treat! 🌟 Child friendly menu (popcorn chicken bites included!!) So the kids actually ate something. 🌟 A picnic basket for the Bridal party while we were away getting photos. 🌟 Supper - we were a little skeptical at first about having supper on our menu BUT after our guests had been dancing and having a few too many beverages, Southland Cheese Rolls were warmly welcomed by all! If you are in search of a stress free wedding, I cannot express how much you need to have Aspiring Catering on your team. They are absolutely outstanding in every aspect of their service. Thank you for making our wedding day as incredible as it was, we would not have been able to do it without you all 🥰🥰🥰

My partner and I had the BEST experience with aspiring for our intimate family wedding. From the very beginning the communication was astounding, countless emails and phone chats making sure everything is perfect and when it came to the day it ran flawlessly and there was multiple quests stating it was the best meal of their lives, Pork belly was the crowd favourite. We had Aspiring Catering cater for our wedding at Criffel Station in Wanaka in Feb 2020, and they were outstanding. They had amazing attention to detail, the food was out of this world and was a big hit with all our guests.The serving staff were quick, tidy and efficient and couldnt be faulted. We had our wedding in Wanaka in Nov 2019 and as we were overseas clients, Aspiring Catering was recommended by our wedding planner. How lucky we were!! From the very start Lucy and everyone at AC was so helpful and would always check in to make sure things were on track! We had around 230 people to cater for and AC were able to make the most amazing canapé and menu to suit our style (hearty food) but also to suit a large number of people! All the tiny little details they suggested which I would of never of thought of, made the day run as smoothly as I could of imagined! The food on the day was to die for and we still have people to this day talking about how incredible the food was and wishing they could eat it all over again!! Couldn’t recommend more highly!

We chose Aspiring Catering for our wedding in Feb 2020 at Glendhu Station, and we couldn't be happier with that choice! Sarah, Lucy, Megan and the team were an absolute pleasure to work with. John from Glendhu commented at one point that the suppliers we had chosen were the 'dream team', and Aspiring Catering absolutely were, going far beyond what I would've expected from a catering company. The level of detail in planning blew my mind. They were efficient and organised, but also invariably lovely to deal with. They managed what was required from all suppliers including ensuring setup plans were all in sync, taking a load off our shoulders, they were attentive to our guests and everyone we spoke to was impressed with their style of 'non-stop service'. The food was awesome and plentiful, and even though I felt like we had a stack of special requirements everything went smoothly and everyone had nothing but compliments for the food. Thanks to all of the team for being part of our day. You guys are amazing.
