Fantastic to deal with, turned up and in the background quietly set up. They called us when ready and the food was incredible, so much of it! We all met the next day for a lunch as so much was left. Everyone enjoyed the food especially the roasted pork it was exquisite the beef however was overcooked and tough unfortunately but did not deter from all the rest which was beautiful. I would highly recommend this company, so good and easy to deal with Thank you.

The most amazing catering company I have had the pleasure of dealing with! Very quick responses from the lovely Shelley when emailing her to organise my event. The food was absolutely delicious, all of our guests mentioned this as they were leaving. However, the highlight of our night was the staff that worked our event. My wife and I planned to get married on May 2019 and after being disappointed when looking for dinner options on a tight budget, we found the Southern Spit Roast & BBQ just a few months before the event. We selected the menu and contacted the team to confirm availability. A few more email and we were all set for the event. The team hosted our wedding dinner and we could have not asked for more. The variety of the dishes, presentation of the food, the customer service, the timing between the dishes, everything was perfect. These guys did an excellent job right from the initial phone contact through to supplying the catering for our wedding last Saturday. It was enjoyed by all, even the vegetarians who were delighted to have such a wide selection to choose from. Wiki (unsure of spelling?), our caterer was amazing - please thank her for us - she worked really hard to have everything presented and ready well before time, and cleaned up efficiently, plus was a great communicator and friendly. Southern Spit Roast & BBQ Catering provided the food for our wedding in July 2018. They met with my husband and I to discuss our options and allowed us to view the premises and see the cutlery, cookware, tables, and table cloths which would be used on the day. Their quick communication was absolutely excellent in which we received replies within 24 hours (although more often within a few or so hours). On the day, they were on time and professional. They packed away all of the leftovers which was excellent to have around for guests visiting to eat the day after the wedding! The guests loved the food as well! I would highly recommend without a doubt their catering services!

The best catering company you could have for your wedding day or any event. Our wedding day was on Feb 3rd 2018. It was meant to be a sunny day, and the wedding was meant to be mostly outside. However, the weather turned to a storm and our food location needed to change. The amazing crew of Southern spit roast took initiative and found the best location in the house to set up the food table. not only that they had to serve, they had to deal with cramped area to serve the food with 100 people trying to get food. The food was amazing, tasty and we had a lot of it. Our guests were prasing our catering company time and time again. We are one happy couple with everything they have done!

I hired these guys for my parents anniversary and they were awesome !! Katie came on her own and she did an amazing job few things though.. 1. Would be awesome if you guys phoned in advance to tell us how many people of yours are going to be serving as people felt bad for Katie and started packing their own dishes as it was quite a bit for one person to clear 2. The salads need to be more we ran out of salad for 40 people and the noodles were a bit dry. Other than that was awesome.

So so happy with everything to do with Southern Spit Roast Co. that we used for my husbands 50th bday on sat. From the booking and choosing the food to the evening. The guys were great with communication the whole way though but what I loved the most is that they made the evening so easy and they were so low maintenance in every way. They just took care of everything and I could get on with relaxing with my guests. They set the bun on the run buffet up in our driveway (as we had 85 peeps in our house) and then just came in and let us know when the food was ready to go. All the guests came down and grabbed a plate and the guests loved the food it was delicious. Afterwards the team packaged all the leftovers up and bought them into the dining room. They never had to bother us with questions -0 they were super self sufficient and we are so they catered for us. Total value for money too.

Beautiful set up of the buffet Unfortunately I didn't get our servers name but she was AMAZING. Very friendly. Got along with our crowd so well. She kept the atmosphere flowing and open. The build up to the event, SSRBBQ were with us the whole way. Kept constant contact and were really there for us. AND MOST OF ALL... THE FOOD was delicious! A very professional outfit. The food was great - we had the 'Bun and Run' option and there was plenty for everyone and heaps to take home afterwards. Easy to deal with and everything ran on time. I would highly recommend them.

SSBBQ Catering quality of service was Excellent. The cost for the Catering of the food was not over expensive and the quality of the food was Awesome. The Catering was done to the specifics of my requirements, enough food for seconds.
