Wow, what an amazing find. Service is friendly and the food is fantastic. All vegan and loads of gluten free options. The Roasted Vege Salad is superb. The Toastie and banana bread are really good. And the cheesecake is one of the best I've ever tasted. And the price for portion size is really good value. It is no wonder this place has 5 out of 5 stars.

Amazing plant based food with a lovely owner! The food at Tea and Happiness is so tasty and such great value - large portion sizes; my wife and I were stuffed after a falafel wrap, side salald and goats cheese toast (special of the day). It was great chatting with the owner who runs and makes everything herself and sources the produce as locally as possible. We enjoyed it so much and grabbed a chocolate chip muffin for the road which was so moist and gooey. Definitely a must visit for everyone in Rotorua!

As a meat eater I'd say this place has amazing food. It's an all vegan place, all the food was fresh and tasty. The owner was very friendly and lovely to have a chat with her. I would definitely recommend this place from my experience, even though I'm not a vegan by any means, the food was just super yummy.

Very refreshing fusion tofu bowl in a hot summer day. Love the vegan cheese and the kimchi. Some people might find it bland but I like it.

This little place offers fabulous vegan food. Also gluten free options. Very friendly owner. They have some shelf food you do not find elsewhere.

I had cauliflower wings, lots of colour on the plate which made my eyes happy, and lots of flavour and filling ingredients made my stomach happy!

I just had here the most amazing falafel salad I have ever tried in New Zealand ( followed by a nice flavourful soup) . It is so hard to find good vegan cuisine with affordable prices , and this place has definitely the best value of all. So much colour, freshness and flavour. I wish I would live in Rotorua so that I could eat at this small eatery every day ! If I wasn’t a perennially broke travelling student and had more money in my pocket , I would have ordered every little thing in the menu .... it was so hard to choose ! So you should try it all if you can. Maybe I should start an apprenticeship in the kitchen of the nice lady who owns the shop Also a big thumbs up for letting me move the table where I wanted !
