Stayed at Omori Lodge with a group of friends for a stag do and had an amazing time. Awesome facilities and Chris was a top notch host!

This was a fabulously comfortable and beautiful venue with lovely vistas. We enjoyed the space and small touches such as the paua inlays in the bathroom that made the venue magical. The location was perfect fir day tripping, walks and had so many delightful features. Highly recommend this venue as a retreat, get-away or family get together!

Chris is such as awesome easy going person to deal with. The lodge was absolutely amazing. It caters to everything youll ever need. We hired the entire lodge and it was perfect. The rooms are massive, the grounds are clean and tidy, we were here in the middle of winter and it was still so warm inside. The kitchen is practically a commercial kitchen you would see in restaurants and had everything you needed. If you want a one stop shop, this is your place. The location is about 15mins away from the nearest shop but this also means no noise control and no neighbors. We will definitely be back for another big family event. Perfection!

This lodge had everything we needed. What a great place to take a school group. The grounds were absolutely well maintained. the facilities were next level and even though it was a big area, all the rooms were warm. I am looking for excuses to revisit.

What a weekend!!! Had my brother in laws stag here organised by his best man, who did a stellar job, and hosted by the owners. What am amazing stay. Being my first time here I was blown away by the size and facilities that could easily cater to large groups. Then the stunning views...... Just wow!!! People would pay top dollar for a nights stay just for the view alone, but here, you won't be reaching deep into your pocket for a nights stay. Or even have to save because it very affordable and the hospitality provided by Chris will keep you coming back, maybe even a yearly tradition? Who knows. But what I do know is that I'll definitely be returning with my family and friends for another weekend getaway. Highly recommended and will surely produce some memories to last a lifetime

We were here for a wedding. On arrival the room was warm and due to the weather that was appreciated. There is ample room for a wedding party of around 150 ppl, the facilities whislt dated were good. Unfortunately due to the weather there was no opportunity to explore the outdoors but the grounds looked extensive. The view of the lake from the decks would be amazing on a clear day.

The lodge was everything and more with a great vibe. Chris the manager was exceptionally helpful with nothing being too hard. Great local knowledge about the surrounding area and activities that can be done. The lodge was clean and tidy with spacious well lit rooms including comfy beds (something you need after a day on the mountain boarding or out in the bush), the space was well heated with space heaters in each room/area. The facilities were modern and great including heaps of bathrooms/showers and the kitchen rivalling most commercial restaurants. Highly recommend checking it out as its a hidden gem!

Amazing spot and equally amazing accommodation! Perfect for family get togethers and special occasions. Accommodation and facilities were spotless!

Interesting place built by the former owner. A lovely lodge with several bedrooms upstairs and a large meeting room / hall downstairs. The wooden floors are a bit noisy / echoey when other guests are walking around. Would be perfect shared space for large groups / family. Beds very comfy. Free WiFi great showers and lovely, natural surroundings with a view of the lake. Steep and unsealed road getting to the lodge, unsuitable for trailers! Friendly, helpful owner. Nearest cafe 15 mins drive.

Great place for a large group. Warm with large commercial kitchen well equipped. Will be back for a ski trip. Ideally placed to visit Taupo, Tongariro crossing and Mt Ruapehu.
