I just wanted to thank Tim and the team at Good Chemistry Catering for the superb catering job. The food was so delicious (bean salad was my personal favourite), my guests and I enjoyed all of the dishes. The chocolate cake and pear tart in particular were crowd favourites. I would have no hesitation in recommending Good Chemistry Catering to all my friends, family and colleagues. Excellent value for money with a very good menu selection.

Good chemistry catered our wedding at the Boatshed in Wellington. They were responsive, helpful and adaptable during the planning and lead up to the event. Their staff were great on the day, working with our changing schedule to make our day as stress free as possible. We did a family style dinning style and the food was amazing. We had so many compliments from our guest. I would happily reccomt good chemistry to anyone planning a wedding.

We were looking for a catering company that was up for a creative challenge - to cater for a theatre symposium at Victoria University where the food would be inspired by Italian Futurism. Good Chemistry became part of our team in delivering this experience to our clients. The consultation process was excellent - able to exchange ideas and find exciting ways to meet our needs. The result, on the day was outstanding - the food was inventive, delicious and a feast for the eyes. Palates were challenged and the food became an integral part of our event. In addition, these are lovely people to work with. Highly recommended.

We recently used Good Chemistry to cater for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we could have made to make the event a memorable one. The canapes were absolutely stunning (especially the pork belly and the feta with honey!), and the main meal was delivered to the tables fresh, hot and cooked to perfection. A number of our guests made comments to the effect that it was some of, if not the best, food that they had ever experienced served at a wedding. In fact, people are still mentioning it two months later! Having used Good Chemistry Catering on several occasions, I have been so impressed with their level of service that I feel compelled to express it. Not only have the staff always been amiable, but the catering services they provide are absolutely superb. Every time they cater for one of our corporate events, I receive lots of positive feedback about the quality of the food. This review is a meager attempt to divert that praise back on Good Chemistry, as i definitely don't deserve it. I just sit in the office, send the team an email with the bare minimal of information, and from there they orchestrate and deliver a top-class catering service every time. Thank you Good Chemistry!

Good Chemistry Catering provided food for our ANZHES academic conference (a bunch of Historians of Education). It was great working with Tim and his staff, nothing was too much trouble, and he kept in contact as the weekend progressed and things changed a little (as they do). He worked across different venues, the food was complimented by everyone, and those with special dietary needs were well catered for. I particularly liked the sustainable way the business operates, with some of the left over food going to the Wellington Night Shelter. Conferences are often rated by the quality of the food, so I was well pleased that this aspect was done well :)

Good Chemistry Catering Limited did the catering for our conference last year. As they manage The Hunter Lounge it was a no brainer to use them for the catering. Popular were their gourmet pizzas especially for working lunched and for the social / networking sessions held there in the afternoon. It was very convenient that they have the license there in the Hunter Lounge for serving refreshments. Nothing was too much trouble for Tim Ward, the Director of Good Chemistry and I think this would be a great place for a wedding, party or a conference such as ours.

I ordered canapes and platters for a staff farewell and had the best experience with the team at Good Chemistry Catering. They were helpful and accommodating before the event and very easy to work in with on the day. The food was fantastic, especially the sesame tofu balls! The little extra touches and personal service were really appreciated, especially as I know how busy they were at the time I ordered.

Recently Good Chemistry provided the catering for my wedding. There was about 200 guests and all reports were very good and the food was excellent. My own personal experience in dealing with them from an organizing perspective was very positive. They were very good at catering for many various guests with various dietary requirements. Their staff were well presented, well mannered and overall they did and exemplary job. Impressive.

Thanks to the great team at Good Chemistry who provided the catering at our recent 2 day conference. The support in planning the food for the event was professional and reassuring. The food itself was deicious, fresh and filling. The team on the day were attentive and prompt. We also had our Conference dinner at Milk and Honey, which Good Chemistry were able to arrange within budget, and with a lot of last minute changes from us! This too was a very well run, and delicious event.

We had Good Chemistry cater our wedding earlier this year and we were blown away by the food, wine and service we received. Right from the start the team were great to work with and took our very vague menu ideas and turned them into a fabulous menu. We wanted a relaxed vibe to our menu and reception so we had the food served family style on big plates on the table. It worked really well as people didn't have to get up to line up at a buffet and it got people talking at the tables about the food as they passed and shared different plates around. Our 70 guests loved the food and we got lots of compliments from our guests saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had! The wait staff were attentive but not overbearing. They kept an eye on everything from a distance and were polite and efficient. Drinks were free flowing but we trusted the staff to let us know when the tab limit was close to being reached. We felt like we were in safe hands which meant we could relax and enjoy the evening, stress free! Everyone left well fed and happy, what more can you ask for?

I like Good Chemistry. I have used a wide range of caterers over the years and these guys take the cake. Why? well they are easy to deal with (very important), there is now fuss, the menu options are expansive and deviations are permitted. The food: and the food is excellent. Fresh, clean, appetising food that always always gets a comment even from my most fussy guests. There is always enough for lunch for the prescribed numbers yet never embarrassingly too much! I often cater for the same group of people (board members) and they comment on the variation within an order - for instance there seems to be an incredible array of slice options. My hope is that Good Chemistry keep going from strength to strength. If you are a bit dissatisfied where you are give Good Chemistry a go. Thanks guys.

Good chemistry have been catering our school formals for a couple of years now and they make organisation easy. Their menu range is fantastic, and they are very flexible if there is a change or special requirements. I would strongly recommend Good Chemistry to anyone planning an event, we will certainly be using them again.

Good Chemistry did a fantastic job catering for TEDxVUW, the very first TEDx event at Victoria University of Wellington. The food and beverage was fresh and tasty. They catered to our very specific needs including dietary requirements and the need for food to be individually packaged. Even with an 100 person event, there were at least 10 different food requirements which Good Chemistry carefully handled. Would definitely use Good Chemistry again, and recommend others to try.

We used Hunter Lounge as a venue to compliment our presentations being held at Memorial Theatre at the University. With 160 people for lunch, morning and afternoon tea; the food was beautifully presented, dietary requirements easily taken care of and staff were incredibly friendly with nothing being a problem. Just next door to the theatre, the venue was quite novel with that creative/campus feel for our guests who were a 'few' years out of university. It was also clean, creative and relaxing with a variety of seating options. The menu options provided were a little different and very delicious making the selections nice and easy. That said, the team were happy to make adjustments to suit our needs. I would definitely recommend this venue for your next event if you are looking for a nice versatile space that's a little bit different coupled with good catering and good vibes!

We had a spectacular dinner for the Stout Research Centre's recent History of Emotions conference: roast lamb, fish, mussels marinara amongst the heavily-laden platters, plus desserts to die for AND the vegan fritters for afternoon tea were exceptional. Bravo Tim and the GC/M&H team!

I just want to say a massive thank you for the morning tea I ordered today for my team. The banana cake was really moist and the sausage rolls were super tasty!! Everyone was like “where did you get this catering from, it’s so good!” One of my colleagues said it was the best banana cake she has ever had! So thanks team – will definitely be using you again.

We've used Good Chemistry Catering a number of times for conferences and the quality of service and food has always been great. They are open to discussing solutions to potentially tricky logistical issues - plus it's always a heap of fun with these guys.

We got these guys to totally last minute cater for our HAVANA COFFEE WORKS Friday lunch. It was great. They delivered the platter nice and early. And even chucked in plates and napkins which we weren't expecting. Lovely fresh Salmon, Amazing Beetroot relish (that converted a Beetroot hater), Chorizo ....... THANKS GOOD CHEMISTRY!! I drive across town quite often to get the Good Chemistry Catering "Millie slice" - which is heavenly. As soon as the cafe sees me approaching they get 2 of the Millie slices out for me. Seriously delicious! Highly recommneded
