N.Chef Freda was amazing. She came with an assistant. They set the table, brought all their own supplies, served us much more than we expected, and cleaned up afterwards. Everything was excellent! I'm recommending her and the Take a Chef service to all of my friends. Same amount we'd spend on dinner at high-end restaurants, and we get a better, more personal experience.
J.I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Chef Nikos. He was extremely easy to work with prior to the event and friendly, efficient and easy to talk to when he entered our apartment. The food that he prepared was absolutely delicious and enjoyed by all- we have a few very picky eaters, and he catered to all of their needs perfectly. Needless to say, if we are ever in Athens again there is no doubt that we will be asking Chef Nikos to come and cook for us again! Thank you for making this such a great experience. Jodi Elkaim
G.Chef Rodolfo Reyes prepared a five-course, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ birthday dining experience. He came to our home fully prepared, set up quickly, and served us dishes that were flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Chef Rodolfo is not only highly skilled in his culinary presentations. He is professional, personable, and pleasantly engaging. Throughout the evening, Chef Rodolfo shared his culinary history with us, injected humor, and spoke about his family with a great sense of pride. In our book, it was a dining experience we will never forget. We highly recommend Chef Rodolfo, and look forward to working with him again in the future.
A.Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia - Tanja was great and the meal was just right for the occasion, she was very easy to deal with and had a friendly professional manner from first contact to the final dish being cleaned. Kitchen was left cleaner then when she arrived. Myself and partner thoroughly enjoyed the evening and highly recommend Tanja for her private chef services.. five stars from us
V.Take a chef service was great!
Lucky Silva cooked us a great Japanese style meals, he was attentive to our needs and adjusted his menu to please our group. He was very courteous, on time and took care of everything ! He printed out nice menus !
L.Jonathan was a fantastic chef, and a terrific human. The dinner was superb. Each course was better than the last. He prepared and served the food beautifully and took pride in his work. Jonathan was eager to please and pleasant to have around. We enjoyed his company and were glad that he was with us to make my husband’s surprise birthday dinner even more festive. He is efficient, well trained and very knowledgeable about food. He was communicative during the planning process, polite and responsive. I can’t think of anything that he could have done differently or better to make for a fabulous dinner. We look forward to having him back next time we are in the Cayman Islands!
K.We had a great first experience with Take a Chef. The service was easy to use and to book and communicate with our chef. Ashton, our chef, cooked a wonderful meal for our family celebration of our parents 40th wedding anniversary. He was polite, professional and an excellent chef. The food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. It was a real treat to have restaurant quality food served in our own home. I highly recommend Ashton and wish he could cook for us all the time!
C.Chef Bruno and his crew were amazing. They prepared a Spanish meal for 18 of us in our vacation home. Everything was perfect from the tapas to the paella to the incredible creme brulee. We had two vegans in our group and he went out of his way to prepare dishes for them. To say the food was delicious would not do it justice. This was by far our favorite meal of the trip. Chef Bruno was easy to work with and always responded quickly. I highly recommend Chef Bruno if you are visiting the Barcelona area.
C.Chef Federico came to our apartment and prepared a Feast ! Every dish was wonderful, and he also chose wines to pair with each course. Our party of 6 was delighted with everything. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Prior to choosing Chef Federico, we were sent bids and menus from 4 different chefs to choose from. Take a Chef was the highlight of our two week stay in Barcelona. We will look for this service again when we travel internationally.
