Good prices here. Service is good. The store seems pretty empty but they seem to have stock in the back. I wanted a pixel 6 but they only had the pro in stock so ordered for pickup next week. Got called shortly after and they had a return due to not having the features the first buyer wanted. Got a discount on it and still have full 1 year warranty. Im happy as long as it works 100% fine

I must take my hat off to this company, I bought a refurbished second hand phone from them, but unfortunately it had a fault, the sound was so quiet and not adjustable. Infotech made it simple to return , they repaired and sent back to me. To my disappointment it then had a home key fault. So I reported this to them, they really stepped up!. They offered me a better phone for a small additional charge, all courier cost covered. The phone I have now works perfectly and Infotech honored their promises all the way. I ordered an iPhone 11 and a lifeproof phone case from this company in mid September 2021. I had a great experience with my phone, and received it about 2 weeks after I ordered it. However, I then didn’t receive the phone case I ordered until late December, despite calling the company multiple times asking for an update and for it to be sent as soon as they received it from their suppliers. I always had a good experience with their customer service team, but rarely had a good result after the fact.

Found these guys pretty good to deal with from a customer service POV. Only criticism I would have is to make it more obvious it's like a parallel import place. It could have been due to my own negligence but I had no idea when purchasing that my product was from overseas. And not in stock. Therefore taking a lot longer than I expected to get to me.

Whoever looking to buy something expensive and like to import, these guys have absolute knowledge about it. I tried to buy an sony a7iv at the beginning of this year. Save a lot of money from buying their parallel imported phones and still come with 12 months warranty. Took over a week for my phone to come as stock was just coming in. Not a huge problem for me as I wasn't in desperate need. Phone box had the seals broken and I wasn't sure if they sent me a second hand phone by mistake. Upon inspection the phone was brand new and they said they open and quickly check the screen etc for the imported phones for quality reasons. I still saved over $400 on the phone so very happy.

My phone from here has had three separate defects. After repairing the first two, they now refuse to repair the third. Immediately after I bought the phone, the guard around the fingerprint sensor fell off. Then the battery would die instantly when it reached 10-15%. After replacement battery is still well below the expected capacity of 3000mAh. In their own tests with three separate measurements, they found 2100, 2300 and 2600mAh. Even the best case is more than 10% below what it should be. However, they refuse to replace it. Based on the EMEI, Samsung have told me that the phone was originally sold in the UK. Because their parts are not sourced directly from the manufacturers, this suggests to me that my replacement battery is not new. Edit: after posting this review, they contacted me and offered to replace the battery. I am happy to report that the new battery has much improved capacity, which is confirmed from measurements with Accubattery.

First time buyer and they have great prices. The place looked dodgy at first glance however, I went in and was greeted by friendly staff members. Bought a one plus 5T from them and has been working as intended. The staff even placed my screen protector for me so that I don't mess it up. I did a lot of research ahead of time, so I was sure that the correct bands would be supported for my rural area. It's true that my original choice turned out not to be in-store when I came in, but my second choice turned out to be better anyhow. I returned the next day because there was a mechanical issue with the phone, and again these guys took the time and made the effort to make sure I went out the door with a working phone, also upgraded to the latest OS as this was available. Excellent customer service, really nice people. I really can't find a single fault with them.

Prices seem okay. It seems like a decent amount of the stock isn't "in stock" in store, so you may find yourself wanting something, only to have to wait for the order to be placed and then fulfilled through their supply chain. So probably average in that respect. Responsiveness was below average, when having to engage them for warranty issues (with a new item), took too long (in my opinion) to go through the process for a new item that failed twice. In the first 2 months, the item was unusable for about 60% of the time. This experience put a real damper on the purchase.

I am 13 years old and I purchased an Iphone 8 plus. I received the phone at an address I gave while we were on a family holiday. The phone I received had problems turning on and so I returned it. The replacement phone arrived and I was not happy that it was the wrong colour and the battery power was not equal to the original one I received. We contacted the company and the person we spoke to was apologetic and agreed to cover the cost of returning the phone and replacing it with the correct colour and a new battery. We returned the phone and emailed a confirmation of our home address where the replacement phone was to be sent. We followed up with a phone call and an email and was given a tracking number. We tracked the courier and found the phone was delivered elsewhere and not the home address given. I was unhappy with the initial problems and the time it took to finally get my phone but I have it now and it’s working well so far.

I am incredibly impressed with all aspects of this company. They have great prices on many items and reasonable prices on others. I purchased the Canon EOS 800d, twin lens kit and the 10-18mm lens online and when I went to pick up those items, I also purchased a polarized lens filter and a backup power supply for my phone. My online experience (website, quick and quality response) was great, and direct interaction with them at the retail location was exceptional! Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, honest, and fair. Bought a refurbished iPhone 7 from them at a great price. It started developing faults, unfortunately. However their after sales service has been really good and they try their best to give the right outcome to me. My tip is to use the RMA form on their website so you have full repair history documented, stay respectful, and stay persistent. 5 stars for their service, but 1 star for the iPhone 7 because it’s got bad reliability issues with the microphone.

Update: They called me and agreed to pay full refund after I posted negative feedback (see below) here. Can not rate it as the best experience, but at least I am not very much disappointed now. Only time wasted. ________ Original: If you receive a phone with a defect and return for repair, they do not accept it is broken and only offer you a partial refund. My total loss (including shipping, etc) is over $70. Details: I have received from them the smartphone which had touchscreen not responding properly: I kept missing incoming calls , 3 navigation menu buttons worked only every second time, etc.. I have got the previous model phone of the same manufacture and could clearly see the difference: new one did not work as good as the older one. I tried to use the phone for about 1 week after I received the covers and screen protectors. I tried to do factory reset. Finally, I have returned the smartphone in as new condition for the repair. They have told me it is not broken and offered only partial refund. Arguing was pointless, they did not listen.

Last time they could not bring the product by agreed pick up date to the store, so they gave me free delivery to my place. Very much appreciate their effort.

As mentioned by others - their stock indication is at best incorrect and misleading. After ordering and wondering what was going on, spoke with and found out that they stock from overseas. The site states item was in stock (and still does) yet nowhere does it state this means it's not in the country. Probably not the case with all items but do watch out for this if expecting "In Stock" to mean it'll ship from inside NZ and not be delayed because it's not here - I could have ordered the item for around the same price and had faster shipping from Amazon US! Edit: Updated the rating as the item did actually turn up and was decently enough packaged. I'd probably still end up ordering from elsewhere in the future though.

All good! :) I bought a Canon SLR twin lens kit. I love the product and have no trouble with it what so ever. I had to wait a few days for delivery but this is on PostNZ side (and to be honest, these days we all what our stuff instantly, which is a first world issue not the retailers fault, is it?!) Was happy with phone and time frame sent- all good there. I wanted the liquid shield advertised on site which was not in stock. Was talked into getting screen protector instead which I didn't feel so happy with as haven't had good experiences getting them on. Assured this would be great however I put it on and it starting peeling off within couple days (because fractionally out and with curved screen almost impossible to get perfect ) and so I removed. Wasted $25 which I wasn't that happy about.

Ordered online however be wary if they don't have stock as it will take more than three days (which they'll tell you) to arrive. I have not had to do a warranty claim through here so I can't speak for others that have reviewed about it. Personally if they don't have it in stock on the day look around at other places. Experience here was a little off however I have purchased here in the past without issues. Sadly my product was defective on arrival and having waited already longer than I was told I quickly returned it to get a full refund as I didn't want to wait longer all over again as was getting wary of the sales service by the day. The return process was very easy and they were helpful with this. I'll admit having read other reviews on here about warranty and returning of items I was thinking it would be a challenge. But good service for the return portion of my experience and all sorted out very promptly.

Much better to visit or research online, as the brick and mortar store is a bit odd. Loads of stuff but some of it is a bit dated. If you know what your are after great to pop in to a shop and get it there and then. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable on tech which is awesome.

My first purchase from expert infotech, and a little frustrating. I had to ring several times because I was told conflicting information from different staff. Also I was guaranteed over the phone that my product would arrive before the weekend, except this was not the case, and I specifically wanted it before the weekend as a present, so this was disappointing. Also, I was told different information about whether tempered glass could be applied to the product and then delivered. The product when it did arrive, turned up in great condition and well packaged, and so far has worked just fine as you would expect.

I have purchased 2 cameras and one phone here, luckly I have had no problems with them.The pricing on most products is cheaper than official imports, but they have a surcharge on credit cards so be sure to take that into account.However some products are more expensive than offical retailers, especially when they are the only shop with the product, but when other shops get stock the price drops, so they dont always give a good price, this is the reason I choose to pay a bit more and buy from an official retailer now, plus better service and no warranty problems..like I said I had no problems with my purchases, but there a many horror stories about people who have, but make your own decision. I dont think this company knows the value of good product backup and customer service.

Hi, I am normally very happy with service and product but this time we ordered wrong model number of printer by mistake (human error) while ordering online . When we received we rang you to advise that we received wrong one and can we exchange to right model. Simply we been told no. That was really pathetic service considering our past experience with you was way better than this time . I ordered the Nikon D3300 camera kit in the red colour initially it was available but just before I went to pick it up from the store I was advised that they had sold all the red ones. Val and the other staff after a few weeks managed to locate stock in the red colour. One very satisfied customer as I had shopped around other stores only to be told there was no stock available from the suppliers.I was very happy with the whole buying experience and the customer satisfaction that I received.

In my experience of buying the Google Nexus 5X (typing on it right now!) Expert Infotech were great to deal with. I phoned up to check the device was in stock, they said if not it would take a little extra to ship. As it turned out they had one in stock and it shipped in 3 days to Wellington. The phone is a genuine item, works flawlessly. It is an ex-China phone so comes with a simple Kiwi/Oz adaptor plug for the Asian charger, an easy solution. Price was about $150 cheaper than PB Tech who have since lowered their price on the Nexus 5X to about $100 more expensive. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Thanks Expert Infotech. NOTE: 28/4/18 After writing this glowing review and a month or so after buying the phone, the LCD screen split under the glass. The phone had not been dropped or knocked and the screen glass was still intact. Expert Infotech were not interested as they are bound by the fine print in Google's terms of sale. Very bad warranty from both companies and this soured my experience of buying an expensive phone. I bought a new digitiser screen and installed it myself. It's really not worth it to spend more than about $250 on a phone nowadays.

Its best to order online or call as they don't carry stock of everything in store. Generally I have had trouble free dealings with them, products always been great. I had an out of box failure with my new iPhone 5c, and the company I got it from couldn't get me a new one. I was really upset, as the phone was a gift and I had been waiting for a long time to get one. I was directed to Expert Infotech to see if they could get me a 5c. They could only get me the 16gb (I wanted 32), so offered me a refurbed 64gb 5s for the same price as I had paid for the 5c. They went above and beyond to fix my problem, even though they had no obligation to. The next day I noticed that the battery life was terrible on my new phone. I called the shop and they were very apologetic. They had to battery replaced for me while I waited, and even gave me a free screen protector since the technician damaged mine on one edge when he was replacing the battery. I received nothing but excellent service both times I went in. I highly recommend making these guys your first stop when buying a new phone!
