We went in for laptop repair - daughter newish laptop crashed 3 days out from Uni exams... this store was amazing and totally stepped us for us, they were our only option no one else could do such an urgent turnaround. easy to find, friendly service and great communication. Incredible service so Impressed with them, definitely the best place I have ever been to for a phone repair! Even in level 4, they couriered my phone from my house/back to my house within an hour of making my initial enquiry, were honest about the pricing from the beginning rather than doing the whole 'pay $45 for a diagnosis' like many of their competitors, and they even offered me a free loan phone while I waited for it to be repaired. Very easy to deal with & very efficient, could not recommend more!

Dropped my iPhone onto the ground and it wouldn't open, sent to this store in the morning to have a check and the price for fixing my phone was only $80. Got it back in the afternoon and it is working fine now! The staff is very friendly.

My son's 5yr old Surface Pro suffered what appeared to be battery failure. Harvey Norman advised they can only use Microsoft who would advise replacement. HN recommended taking to PB Tech or Smashed IT. I phoned Smashed who talked through options and costs on phone.. over $300 for the battery replacement as Surface devices glued not screwed together but still worth repair. Dropped it in this week and was ready the same day. New battery shows 5 hours of life. Good as new. Thanks guys. I'll be back with other devices as family does their best to destroy them!

Small tucked away shop right in the middle of Parnell Rise. Can walk in anytime to get the gadgets repaired. Outstanding customer service. It's a little pricey and time consuming compared to other local shops that does one hour repair but they don't compromise quality. Replacement parts are good quality.

Fantastic service. I put an impressive hole in the screen of my S9+ and took it to these guys for a screen replacement after reading their reviews. They were friendly, informative and professional throughout, from replying to my email, to providing a loan phone, to keeping me up to date. They only use genuine Samsung parts which was reassuring in terms of the repair longevity (can't speak for other phone brands). When it turned out that the phone was damaged beyond repair, they readily gave me a near-new replacement model with a 6 month warranty at very little extra cost. When the replacement model had an issue with the camera they quickly fixed it up in 20 minutes with no fuss or extra charge. Bevin's a great dude and I'll definitely be going back to Smashed It for any repairs in the (hopefully not too near) future.

Really great service since the beginning. I had to get my insurance approval and they did the assessment really quick and send it to me so i could request approval. Repaired the phone in 1h, and even though I had to return because the screen was faulty they change the second time in less than 1h. I got another device while mine was getting fixed with no worries. Would definitely recommend. And would go back, even though I hope not hehe (since would mean I broke the screen again).

SyncedRepairs are lifesavers. I smashed my iPhone 6 screen, and it was so bad I was convinced I'd have to buy a new one. I contacted 3 repairers who advertised a turnaround of 2 hours, but they said it would take days. With SynchedRepairs it wasn't a problem - they had it ready within an the hour. I have updated my recent one star to three. As once the owner became aware of the below comments the communication and effort to get it back to me was excellent. I appreciate things go wrong but it is really how the communication and customers service is afterwards that is important. Took Apple watch in as smashed the face. It's been over a month in there and been told each week it will be back that week and now it's christmas and they are now closed and I still do not have it back. Really annoyed!!!!

These Young fellas are brilliant. A free initial offering to see what is wrong and didn't try to charge me an extra to recoup their time as happens usually when something is free. These guys are genuine. Who does that these days???? My Macbook Pro died and not fixable. They know their stuff and I never felt I was being played. Picked up laptop and asked them for advice for what to do with it dead laptop. Said I could make money selling parts but take out hard drive. Advice given with this attitude to customers these guys are going to be very busy. Get in now and become one of their loyal customers before they shut you out. Brilliant.

I popped into Smashed IT to get my device repaired after the screen was damaged. I had left a glowing review as my initial visit was very pleasant, but I had to later return on multiple occasions to fix issues that arose post-repair and subsequently I have to alter my review as a result. Below are the bullet points of my experience: Pros: - Very good customer service - staff are polite, friendly and confident. - Advertised repairs are done in under an hour as promised. - Despite being busy, appointment times are flexable and accommodating. - They use quality and geuine parts where possible. Cons: - The price of the repair is very expensive compared to other repair shops - I had to return multiple times before I could walk away with a 100% functional phone. - Additional issues created during the repair (was fixed at no cost since it was their error) - Phone not covered under manufacturer warranty anymore. They obviously value customers by the way they promptly fixed the issues raised after my initial visit so this is much appreciated, however regardless it is also unfortunate that they caused issues that were not present in the first place requiring me to waste so much of my time returning for what was supposed to have been a simple quick screen repair.

I took my grand-daughters mobile phone to Synced Repairs. She had dropped her phone and the screen was cracked. They replaced the srceen and checked everything was working properly. Fairly friendly, fast repair and phone works great again. However, the frame which was used along with the screen replacement was definitely not the original (which is fine because the original was severely damaged), but the replacement information given stated that the parts used for repair would be factory original. Not sure if that means that the parts will be used are from the factory or that the parts will be 'factory issue' parts from another phone (which in this case, appears to have been second hand and damaged prior) this isn't a major though, Im perfectly happy with the repair but I was under the impression that the parts being used would be 'new' as apposed to recycled. Not really something you would expect when you shell out $275 for a screen replacement.

I don't usually write reviews but I feel like I had to this time. I dropped my mac by an accident and the cables inside disconnected, and I had to get it repaired immediately since there was an assignment due the next day (and I only had one copy - which was inside my mac). They were also able to clean up the milk which I spilt on my mac about 6 months ago - which was probably the reason why the cables disconnected so easily. And they were able to fix it (along with cleaning up the milk) within 2 hours or so which really helped me. They also gave my 2 screen protectors and an iPhone cover which was also bonus.

I broke my S5 screen glass, needed it fixed asap. I wasted a whole day going around all the cheap dodgy places who say they can do it in 2 hours then you get there and they say it will take 2-5 days/wont show you the "genuine" parts they say they use/place is a mess and peoples phones and laptops are sitting on the dirty floor amongst loose screws and old parts etc. etc. Aaron gave me sound advice in language I could understand on replacing the lcd+glass instead of just the glass which some of the other places recommended. No issues with the repair (45 mins) phone is like new. Worth the slightly higher price for piece of mind, quality workmanship + warranty. The office was clean and tidy as should be expected from a shop that repairs delicate electronics. Chucked on a new battery cover for free. Going to take my laptop there to get that fixed. Avoid the ear/headache and just drop your phone off, go downstairs get a coffee, read a newspaper (because you wont have your phone for a entire 45mins😦) then its done.

I flew in from fiji on the saturday morning rang synced repairs to fix the screen on my galaxy s4 at 2pm, even though they were heading out the door at 3 they waited for me it Think i got there about 3pm and had my phone back at 4pm. he replaced my screen which i paid for along with the outer chrome housing and rear battery housing (which i didn't pay for:)) he also checked my front camera at no extra charge too! good kiwi bloke doing a quality kiwi job. I give them a 4.9 because there were no free cupcakes while i waited however swedish rounding say they get a 5 whoch i'm more than happy to give.. good on you guys well done. Being a small business owner in the past its no easy feat to impress the market place!!!

Don't normally do reviews but this is a small shop that's on game and deserves your business. Took my MBPr into Smashed IT for what I thought was moisture in the screen. They diagnosed it as a known MBPr issue which is replaceable under warranty by an Apple Authorised Reseller. They didn't charge me for their time/diagnosis and gave awesome service throughout.

Brought in my Google pixel 2 for a battery replacement. They offered a very reasonable price for the job. Dropped off the phone and it was done in a couple of hours. I did some testing and there was an issue with the phone turning off when the speakers were used. Took it back to them (this was near COB on Friday) and Josh worked on it in the weekend and was ready to collect Monday morning. Overall, happy with the service as the Pixel 2 is a difficult phone to take apart
